In the 80's, a lot of Australian soldiers had this same haircut. Some cited WWII era German army as their inspiration, and others cited the US Marines. Either way, it was soldiers, young and old, trying to look more regimental - more professional. In the end, it's just a hairstyle; but it's another hairstyle that White men are not permitted to have.

If you are White and shave your head or even cut it too short, you are a skinhead Nazi. If you have long hair, you are a biker Nazi. If you have the undercut (as this newly banned haircut is called) you are a Nazi. If you have dreadlocks, cornrows or anything we'd consider degenerate, you have misappropriated another culture. No long hair, no short hair, no no-hair-at-all. Get it, Whitey?

Have it or not, you cannot win the hair game - the very thing everybody that sees you judges you on. So what's left for you? Nothing? That's right, you're supposed to slink off and die. Be nothing. Cease to exist. That my friends is what they expect of you. So what I am telling you to do is to grow your hair, shave your head, do whatever you like (just don't look like a libtard degenerate). And when they call you a Nazi, stick your thumbs in their nostrils and split their nose. Don't forget to shout Sieg Heil! and stomp their head for good measure. You may not be a so-called Nazi, but there's no harm in you having fun at your attacker's expense.

After all, once they decide to call you a Nazi, they are going to do their utmost to completely destroy your life, and if you don't fight back, you deserve everything you get.

A man with brain cancer who was unwittingly mocked by Samantha Bee for having "Nazi hair" said this morning that the comedian issued a "half-apology."

Bee, the host of "Full Frontal" on TBS, apologized Thursday for a segment in which Kyle Coddington, 20, and others at CPAC were mocked for having "Nazi hair."

Historically, the undercut has been associated with poverty and inability to afford a barber competent enough to blend in the sides, as on a regular haircut. From the turn of the 20th century until the 1920s, the undercut was popular among young working class men, especially members of street gangs. In interwar Glasgow, Neds, the precursors to the Teddy Boys, favoured a haircut that was long on top and cropped at the back and sides. Despite the fire risk, lots of paraffin wax was used to keep the hair in place. Other gangs who favored this haircut were the Scuttlers of Manchester, and the Peaky Blinders of Birmingham, because longer hair put the wearer at a disadvantage in a street fight.

During the jazz age of the 1920s and 1930s, hairstyles of this type were considered mainstream fashion. In Nazi Germany, a version of this haircut which was long on top but shaved at the back and sides was popular among Wehrmacht officers.
