Extract: The German founder of an anti-Islam group has been booted out of the UK. Detained immediately on arrival, Pegida founder Lutz Bachmann landed at Stansted on Saturday night and was expelled on Sunday morning. The Home Office confirmed that Bachmann, who has in the past led protest marches of tens of thousands of people, was refused entry to the UK on the grounds that his presence was not in the interest of the public good. "Border Force has the power to refuse entry to an individual if it is considered that his or her presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good," a spokesperson said. Bachmann planned to speak to supporters with ex-English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson in Hyde Park on Sunday.
