THE distraught families of three young women dragged from the footpath and murdered as they made their way to or from work have warned it is no longer safe to walk the streets.

Logan - otherwise known as Woodridge - a place I knew well when I lived there in the 80's and 90's. It is a place that is now totally racist ... against the remaining White inhabitants. Think the Bronx, NYC, 1973.

A RACIST sign displayed at a Logan overpass has sparked community furore.

The banner reads "Multiculturalism is White Genocide" and has been photographed hanging at the Watland Overpass across the M1 in Springwood.

A photo of the sign was posted by a Facebook user and reported by the Logan Memes account on Sunday.

Locals have shared their opinions on Facebook with the majority slamming the hateful message.

Zach Powson, from Logan, said he was furious when he saw the post on Facebook.

"It's just a big let-down to see pictures like that especially so close to home," he said.

"When I first saw it I was outraged. If I saw that driving down the highway I would be fuming behind the wheel.

"Why is this still going on, can't we learn from history. There needs to be more of an acceptance of the different cultures."

A sign that read: "Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white" was spotted hanging at the same overpass earlier this year.

It is still unknown who is responsible for the signs.

A Logan City Council spokeswoman said the Local Law Officer removed the sign after spotting it on September 1.

Council are unaware of who hung the sign and have referred the matter to the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

The spokeswoman said no other instances of this kind had been reported to council.

Police said the banners had not been reported to them.

God love the people that do this kind of activism! I don't know why the cops got involved. It is a legal message and not one of hatred to any particular group, no public vandalism was done.
