Excerpt: A business owner's light-hearted video on a Melbourne street was interrupted by a passerby pooping right next to his car, which he said illustrated a wider problem in the city.

Jordan Mylius, the founder of shampoo brand Hairification, was filming near a Priceline on Chapel Street in Prahran, 9km south of the Melbourne CBD, on a Friday afternoon when he witnessed the disturbing act.

Mr Mylius' filming partner, Aspen, spun around and caught the moment a hooded figure stood up squatting from between two parked cars - one of which belonged to the CEO - and then walked away.

'That man just took a s**t,' Aspen said, shocked by the brazen behaviour.

Mr Mylius didn't seem as surprised, adding a deadpan: 'Welcome to Chapel Street, welcome to Poo-hran'.
