Senior's Pensions Cut Off ... Can We Guess Why?

THE aged pension entitlements of more than 17,000 South Australians will be slashed by a fortnightly average of $130 as Canberra's asset test reforms take effect from New Year's Day.

A further 6000 will lose their part-pensions, while an estimated 5900 recipients across the state will be removed from the pension altogether, which will result in them also losing some state government concessions.

Retirees deemed ineligible for a part-pension under the changes will lose an average $189 per fortnight.

They also cease to be eligible for discounted vehicle registration, driver's licence fees and ambulance cover.

The payments to about 17,300 pensioners will be reduced by an average of $130 per fortnight.

The changes to the assets test were passed by federal Parliament with the support of the Greens after the Coalition agreed to drop a plan to slow pension increases by changing the indexation formula.

Council on the Ageing chief Ian Yates said older Australians would have been even worse off under the indexation change, adding: "It would have reduced the pension itself by 20 per cent."

Mr Yates said the Federal Government expected many older people to draw down on their assets, which could eventually lead to them requalifying for a pension. "Their expectation is that you would be drawing down on them – not just trying to live off the interest income,'' he said. "If then you come back within the pension range, you're going to find a very strong pension still there for you.''

Older SA residents who lose pensions will receive Commonwealth Health Care cards and remain eligible for state government water, energy and council rates concessions.


O.K so those people before us who paid their taxes get a pension cut? Well we are ordered by the UN to take refo's . We feed them, house them, hospitalise them, give them Language class. Then we have Bastards that sell "Ice" to people who don't have to take these drugs. So the Government spends all this extra money in hospital money for drug programs, rehab fees for the bloody junkies all at our expense.

So where will that leave us when it comes to our retirement in 30-40 years? Can we buy houses when we have to compete with Gooks and Indians for the land? Then what? seniors are going to have to continue working until 70! try climb ladders and swing a hammer at 70?!

Well as long as the rich buggers are allright and getting their cheap labour or selling off our assets for their personal retirement they couldn't care less, this place can go to hell in a handbasket!

What wasn't mentioned in that article is that ownership of a house valued at $250 thousand or higher is now treated as a countable asset. That means, if your home - which you struggled to pay off over decades - is over the set limit, you do not receive the pension any more. Worse than that, $250 thousand is no longer considered expensive in the housing market these days; it's quite average in some areas. So you can forget competing with foreign filth to purchase a home. If you are an Australian, you can forget about ever buying a house.

The foreign filth are allowed to do whatever the hell they like. They can keep their cash stashed overseas and live high-on-the-hog while our seniors sell everything they have just to keep food in their mouths.

This country persecutes the tax-paying Whites while giving a hand-out to every other piece of filth that shows up on our shores. Time for a regime change.

Just seems it's getting tougher to even be employed in Australia.
All you hear is " contract,part time or casual" when you want a job. Employers don't wish to commit to staff.Tgey have to pay superannuation, insurances too hard to get rid of permanent staff.
They'd rather phone up " dial a Flip" to get a guest worker to do the job as they won't fight the boss and he can be fired easier! These buggers not only take work from us, they like to parasite our economy in order to send coin back to the third world!


If you work in IT they told everybody in the 2000's and the 1990's it was the future and the skill to learn. What happens? They get Aussies to the interview because they have to ask Aussies first.Then they go ask candidates questions only an expert that has a computer science degree can answer when those skills aren't needed for the task!


Doing it deliberately to "red herring the government" tell the candidate that "They weren't good enough ".When all they wanted all along was a :-cheap,subservient,expendable curry or Ching Chong.


It's clear who they want us replaced by!
