Growing calls to deport neo-Nazi leader Thomas Sewell back to New Zealand have sparked a fiery response from the nation's Prime Minister to brand him as an 'awful human being

Sewell, 32, was allegedly among a group of men dressed in black who stormed Camp Sovereignty in Kings Domain on Sunday afternoon following the March for Australia rally in Melbourne's CBD.

Footage showed Sewell and neo-Nazi supporters lashing out at crowds gathered at the camp, the site of remains of Indigenous people from 38 clans.

He is accused in this new arrest of various violent offences allegedly committed at the Melbourne March for Australia rally, specifically at an illegal aboriginal squat in a local park. Before his arrest many members of the Melbourne NSN had stated that they charged the illegal camp because antifa were using it as a base to coordinate violent attacks upon Australians who had attended the protest, especially as they were trying to leave to go home. Pictures from the day showing some cars also spray painted with graffiti slurs of "Nazi" will likely be used in Tom's (and other arrested NSN members) defence to argue that his actions were necessary to protect himself, his organisation, the public and everyone's property from harm.

Australian nationalist leader Thomas Sewell has been denied bail for at least two more days after refusing demands from a police prosecutor to distance himself from his political group and ideology.

Police prosecutor Jonathon McCarthy made a submission to Magistrate Donna Bakos that the "strongest argument" to refuse Mr Sewell bail was that he possessed "racially motivated ideologies".

He told the court Mr Sewell was a "member of a racially motivated organisation that uses that ideology to commit offences", and that if Mr Sewell does not "disavow" his ideology the magistrate could refuse him bail.

On Friday, a magistrate will decide whether Mr Sewell will be granted bail or will remain in prison.

Sewell sparked more chaos two days later when he gatecrashed Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan's press conference with an angry outburst. Hours later, he was arrested and charged over the Kings Domain incident.

Sewell is understood to be an Australian citizen, despite being born in New Zealand.

Kiwi Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was forced to weigh into the saga, amid mounting calls from Aussies for Sewell to be deported back to New Zealand.

Luxon distanced his country from the controversy, claiming that it was Australia's problem.

'He sounds like a pretty awful human being, and he's an Australian citizen so I'll let that run its course,' he told reporters in Auckland on Thursday.

Sewell was charged with 25 offences over Sunday's incident, including violent disorder, affray, assault by kicking, discharge missile and other offences.

He currently remains in custody but will reappear in court on Friday for a bail application.

Detectives continue to investigate the alleged incident in the Kings Domain and urge anyone with any information or footage that may assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In recent days, almost 100,000 supporters have signed a Change.org petition calling on Sewell to be deported to his country of birth.

Petition organiser Constitutional Reformist, called on a change to the Australian Citizenship Act 2007 to enable a High Court deportation.

'We are not backing down. We are evolving. And we are demanding a legal system that protects communities, not extremists,' they said.

The approach of the petition has two steps: the first to revoke Sewell's Australian citizenship 'through a court-authorised process, based on his violent extremist conduct and likely dual nationality'.

It also demands urgent reform of the Australian Citizenship Act 2007.

'So that individuals convicted of serious hate-fuelled crimes can have their citizenship revoked and be subject to deportation with full judicial oversight and constitutional safeguards,' the petition states.

Home affairs minister Tony Burke said that it would not shock him if Sewell packed up his bags and moved back across the ditch.

'I wouldn't be surprised if he renounces his citizenship here anyway,' Burke told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

Nationalists hit back after leftists attacked flag-wearing patriots near aboriginal camp

Nationalist activists have clashed with far-left counter-protesters who witnesses say were attacking flag-wearing March for Australia rally attendees near an illegal aboriginal squatter camp in Melbourne's CBD.

Video taken by anti-Australian aboriginal activists and left-wing extremist groups shows about 70 members of the National Socialist Network (NSN) including leader Thomas Sewell charge up a hill at the Kings Domain, where so-called Camp Sovereignty is set up late, on Sunday afternoon.

"Camp Sovereignty" is an unlawful encampment where militant anti-Australian indigenous activists want to seize public land for themselves, and has been the subject of repeated calls to be dismantled since it was established in January, 2024.

Witnesses told Noticer News a group of far-left counter-protesters were using the encampment as a base to attack individuals or small groups leaving the nearby March for Australia rally as a result of their attendance at the demonstration.

Noticer News understands several people wearing Australian flags were attacked and left bleeding from facial injuries, and at one point a group of dozens of left-wing activists attacked two Australian patriots during the left-wing political violence, and photos show cars that were spray-painted and scratched.

One witness said he was sitting in his car a short distance from the encampment when he saw two young guys in their mid-20s who had been beaten up walk past.

"They told me that ten to 20 people had sighted them walking out of the CBD, run down a hill and beat them into the ground before laying the boot into them," he said.

"This camp on top of the hill was not peaceful. They were gang-bashing normal attendees of the rally as they were leaving solo or in pairs. The people in the camp were the cowards attacking peaceful attendees. Then the NSN rolled them."

A second witness said he saw a group of "anti-fascists" come down from the hill to attack two White Australians, and claimed police were present during the assault.

"I saw the man being punched in the head and kicked while on the ground. Two police officers on motorcycles were present at the scene but appeared reluctant to intervene," he said.

"I was in the area to collect two friends who had also been targeted by the same group."

Another witness said: "They were using the hill to pick off twos and threes going back to cars. After each attack they went back to the hill."

"They descended on two random patriots and beat them 50 on two."


Cowardly far-left counter-protesters bash elderly patriot at March for Australia rally

Disturbing video from Sunday's March for Australia rally in Melbourne shows a mob of violent far-left extremist counter-protesters bashing an elderly man wearing an Australian flag T-shirt.

The footage, filmed by YouTuber Keen Encounters on August 31, shows blood pouring from the face of the grey-haired man after he was beaten by dozens of masked leftists, many in Palestinian scarfs or dressed like antifa.

The clip begins with another man in green being struck and shoved by the left-wing thugs before the older man can be seen being dragged along the ground from the middle of the crowd.

The man in the Australian flag T-shirt then attempts to go back through the crowd and is soon surrounded, hit, pushed, shoved, and has an egg smashed on his head, while multiple men film the beating.

Other footage of the counter-protesters filmed on the same day shows them throwing tins of fruit, eggs and bottles of water at patriotic Aussies, and making several attempts to disrupt the anti-immigration march before being repelled by Australian flag-wearing demonstrators.

Left-wing extremists also used an illegal aboriginal squatter camp in the Kings Domain as a base to attack March of Australia attendees as they were returning to their cars, and vandalising the vehicles.
