A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in South Australia.

She was allegedly struck by a vehicle on Thirteenth Street at Gawler South — in Adelaide's north — just before 7pm on Thursday.

The driver then allegedly left the scene of the crash, and is now wanted by SA Police.
