A teenage girl had her throat slashed and a good Samaritan brutally bashed during a wild brawl between youths in Melbourne.

A small axe and a knife were also used in the fight which broke out on the RMIT University basketball court about 7.30pm Wednesday before spilling into a nearby street.

An unnamed witness who saw the fight between the two groups of youths said it erupted over a girl.

'Apparently it was over a girl... One guy fighting another and then weapons got involved... they tried to stab each other,' the man told 9News.

A bystander tries to intervene and break up the fight before being brutally bashed and dragged across the pavement.

'You could see her muscles moving,' said the anonymous witness.

As the violence continued, nearby hospitality workers barricaded themselves inside to remain safe.

'It (was) crazy and scary, so we just went back there and closed the doors,' a fast-food store worker said.

But by the time police arrived at the scene of fight the criminals had fled, escaping through the university campus

A predatory attacker waited in laneways for his victims during a two-hour sex crime spree in Melbourne.

The man targeted lone women in a series of escalating attacks early last Sunday, detective inspector Stephen Wilson said on Friday.

'There's some indication he was hanging around laneways, some predatory behaviour there, almost waiting for his victim to appear,' detective inspector Wilson said.

'There is some predatory behaviour there, he was awaiting his prey.'

He said the man grabbed each of the women from behind and the offending escalated at each assault.
The first woman was opening a front door when she was grabbed from behind and groped on Howard Street at Richmond about 3.20am on April 14.

Her screams scared the offender off.

An hour-and-a-half later another woman was walking along Church Street when she was grabbed from behind in a bear hug and sexually assaulted, about 5am.

Twenty minutes later at Grosvenor Street in Abbotsford another woman was approached by the same man who seriously sexually assaulted her.

A Good Samaritan who heard the woman screaming attempted to chase the offender but he escaped.

A woman was groped and kissed by a stranger described as Indian on a Melbourne beach

The alleged attacker approached the 24-year-old woman at Seaford Beach, in Frankston, on Easter Sunday at about 5pm.

The woman pushed the unknown man away after he began to kiss and inappropriately touch her.

She then ran away from the alleged offender who is described as Indian Sub-continental in appearance.

The alleged offender is understood to be aged about 28, 170cm tall and unshaven with a slim build.
A computer-generated image of a man has been released by police as they continue investigations to hunt for the alleged sex offender.

Police urge anyone who recognises the man or who may have seen the assault to contact Crime Stoppers. 

The incident comes as Victoria Police investigate a sexual assault at Bendigo racecourse last month.

Teenage gangs are ransacking stores in Victoria shopping centre leaving shop owners and customers desperate and fed up.

Fountain Gate Westfield, in Narre Warren, has been targeted by group of up to a dozen teens who shoplift from stores and generally wreak havoc.

Scared staff say the shopping centre is unsafe because the teenage gangs have been known to attack customers.

According to a recent poll, hundreds of people said they have avoided going to the shopping precinct due to the violence, the Leader reported.

Several business owners said their shops and restaurants had been targeted by the gangs. 

'They literally went through and flipped up all the tables and chairs and I was too scared to do anything as we were afraid of what will happen,' one cafe worker told the publication.

One woman said her 14-year-old son was attacked and mugged by a gang of six teenagers in the food court two weeks ago

'One of his friends was asked by the gang to hand over his jacket or he'd be stabbed. The boys were then told they would be bashed if they didn't hand over all of their cash,' she said.

The mother was disappointed with how security and management had handled the incident, saying that security didn't call to let her know what happened, and that police weren't even notified about the incident by security.

On a Casey Crime Facebook page, a woman shared that she was attacked by six teenage girls on April 20, while security watched.

Another woman said that a lady smacked her six-year-old granddaughter across her face, and centre management and security didn't do anything about it after she reported the incident to them.   

A Fountain Gate worker said a bunch of teenagers are known to come into her store and try to distract staff in a bid to steal from the tip jar. 

The troubling stories come after two teenage girls brutally bashed a chicken shop worker in a failed attempt to rob her a day's takings at the same shopping centre last month.
The shop worker had been holding $5,000 when she was attacked by the teenagers, who punched her in the back of her head and flung her to the floor, before continuing to kick her

'Police from Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Endeavour Hills regularly patrol the shopping centre with more serious offences followed up by detectives from Casey crime investigation unit,' Acting Inspector Dean Grande said.

They aren't stating they are Africans but it has the hall marks of them in that area of Melbourne. Before they came nobody would have dared do such things! They won't quit turning the place upside down and the media and ZOG are protecting them while the community has to "shut up, be happy and tolerant" . Why aren't the Police acting? They scared they'll deport all ZOG's miscegenation tools?

Sickening footage has emerged of a man wearing a hi-vis vest and a black hoodie choking a dog

The man was caught on camera holding the dog by his neck with one hand while grabbing the animal's nose with other on a street in Brompton in Adelaide's inner-north.

A group of women, including the one filming the incident, are heard begging the man to let the dog go.
'It's only a dog man,' the man is heard saying in the footage, posted by 7News on Wednesday.

'I've been attacked five times in the last year.'

'You absolutely cannot treat the dog like that ... he's scared,' one woman said.
