The mother of a boy who was violently attacked and had his phone stolen by a group of eight teens at Highpoint says nobody stepped in to help her son.

Jasmine Moey's son had just watched a movie at the Maribyrnong shopping centre when he and a friend went to the toilets on Friday, January 21 about 7.15pm.

Her son was bashed and robbed.

"He was punched in the left eye," she told 3AW Radio. "There was eight of them in the cubicle and they were attacking his friend as well in the other corner."

Before they took his phone the teens allegedly made her son unlock it and turn off the the feature that tracks iPhones.

At least two adult men were allegedly present in the cubicles at the time. "Nobody helped," Ms Moey said.

In a statement, police said two 14-year-old boys were approached near the toilets by a group of up to nine teenagers perceived to be of African appearance. "Both victims had their phones stolen and the one was punched, suffering bruising to his face."

A Sydney Uber driver accused of raping a woman who fell asleep in his car stopped at a service station to buy condoms before having what he says was "consent sex".

Muhammad Naveed, 41, has pleaded not guilty to having sexual intercourse without consent with a heavily intoxicated 22-year-old British nanny on a Saturday night in October 2015, when he picked her up in Kings Cross.

Police Hunting Perverted Paki

Police are hunting for man who sexually assaulted a Melbourne teenager twice within weeks, on one occasion shortly after he took a "selfie" with the girl and her friend.

The 16-year-old was sitting at a bus stop at Craigieburn railway station on January 2 with her friend when the man approached them and took a photo of himself with them, police said.

He sexually assaulted one of the women before leaving.

He came across the same two women in Craigieburn Gardens on Craigieburn Road about 8.30pm last Friday and this time sexually assaulted both girls before fleeing.

Fawnker Sexual Offences and Children Abuse Investigation Team detectives have released a computer-generated image of the man.

He is described as Indian or Sub-continental in appearance, aged in his 60s and about 160cm tall.

He was described as having a slim build and a heavy accent.

He was wearing a blue hat, dark-coloured top and khaki pants on both occasions.

Half a Million Dollar Reward for Capture of Gook

Extract: A reward of $500,000 has been announced to track down a man who dragged a woman into an empty home and raped her in Melbourne's east three years ago.

The 21-year-old woman was walking along Burwood Highway when she was dragged from behind to the front yard of an unoccupied house on Station Street in Burwood on January 23, 2014.

She was then physically and sexually assaulted inside the home before the man fled.

The man was described as being of Asian appearance and aged between 35 and 45.

He was wearing a brown jacket and tan-coloured pants at the time of the attack.

The Department of Public Prosecutions "may consider" granting indemnification from prosecution to anyone who helps them track down the offender.

PAULINE Hanson has called for African gang members to be deported following the latest incident of violence in Melbourne at the weekend.

A gang of up to 40 youths of African appearance stormed the family-friendly festival Summersault, in Melbourne's west on Saturday night, kicking and punching some festival goers and stealing wallets, bags and phones.
A teenager was also hospitalised after being confronted by members of the gang outside the neighbouring Caroline Springs police station.

It is the latest in a string of gang crime allegedly committed by African youths in Melbourne and Ms Hanson said she had a simple solution to curb it.

"I've got the best solution to this. Round them up and get them out!" the One Nation leader posted, attracting more than 300 comments largely supporting her view.

The cessation of African migration has long been a key policy of Ms Hanson's, however a spokesman confirmed she did was not calling for the deportation of "law abiding immigrants of any ethnicity" but those who commit crimes.

Back in 2009, she described refugees as "incompatible with our way of life and culture".

"They get around in gangs and there is escalating crime that is happening," she said."If we want to do things for the Sudanese people, then let us send medical supplies, food, whatever they need over there — but let them stay in their own country."
