Attack outside Perth Jihad Indoctrination Centre during Cult Services

A suspected petrol bomb has exploded outside a Perth mosque as hundreds of Muslims attended a service for the cult.

No one inside the Thornlie Mosque/Jihad Indoctrination Centre was injured when the car exploded on Tuesday evening.

The phrase "F*** Islam" was scrawled in graffiti on a wall next to a 4WD, which was set on fire.

Four teenagers have been arrested on the edge of Melbourne's west over an alleged aggravated burglary and car theft.

It's believed a Silver Nissan was stolen during an aggravated burglary in Williams Landing, west of the city, early Sunday morning.

Victoria Police spotted the vehicle 20 hours later in Point Cook and found four boys, two aged 14, one 15 and one 17, inside.

Patrol cars and a police helicopter followed the vehicle for an hour into the city and intercepted it in Carlton, on the edge of the city.

Two police vehicles and the Nissan collided and put an end to the dispute.

I hope the cops get all the members of that black gang and just shut those buggers down!

Extract: A SIX second attack has turned into at least 16 years behind bars for killer Kyle Sirious Zandipour.

He was found guilty of murdering Melbourne University student Joshua Hardy in 2014 outside a McDonald's restaurant on St Kilda Road in Melbourne.

He stomped on Joshua's head and bashed him to death, in an attack the court heard only lasted six seconds.

A DRUG supplier who flew to Darwin with nearly 500g of ice hidden in Ferrero Rocher wrappers should be seen as a one-woman drug syndicate, a prosecutor has argued.

In sentencing submissions in the Supreme Court yesterday, prosecutor David Morters said comparing Sufang Gao, 46, to other major drug dealers in Darwin was the equivalent of comparing "a local grocery store (and) Woolworths".

Gao and a co-accused, Estrella Lopez Salvatiera-Nguyen, 58, pleaded guilty to possessing a commercial quantity of methamphetamine.

Gao was arrested when her Jetstar flight landed at Darwin Airport and she was picked up by police sniffer dogs, followed by Salvatiera-Nguyen, two days later.

The court heard that Gao and Salvatiera-Nguyen used coded text messages in the days leading up to the delivery. They referred to the shipment of drugs as "lemons", money as "paper" and the drop-off of the drugs as a "party".

A MAN has been left traumatised after a terrifying carjacking in Mt Evelyn saw him dragged from his Volkswagen and attacked on a pitch dark country road.

Darren, who wants to remain anonymous, said at no point did he realise the two young crooks wanted to steal his 2012-model 4WD — he only thought they were out to kill.

The robbery took place at 10pm on Saturday, July 9, on a quiet semi-rural road when Darren, 38, noticed a car tailgating him for several hundreds metres as he was driving home.

As he pulled into his driveway, his car was hit with force from behind and he was "confronted by one man and then the other two seconds later" as he got out of his car.

"They came at me like a pack of wolves, just ready to kill, and they were shouting 'Oi! Oi! Oi!' like a scene in a movie," Darren said.

"The second guy came at me with a T-shirt stretched out in both hands and I thought they were going to strangle me or abduct me ... I thought they were going to kill me."

As Darren ran back to his car, one chased him, threw him onto the ground, and smothered his face with the T-shirt.

"I was being attacked on the ground and the other guy was yelling for my keys. I was just screaming my head off and even then I didn't realise they wanted my car, I thought they wanted me," he said.

A few minutes later, the attackers, believed to be aged 17-19 years, drove off in both cars and left Darren voiceless, standing in complete shock with scratches on his face.

He was without a phone or wallet, and with his closest neighbour 100 metres away and his partner not home, he raced to his nearby parents' house to call for help.

"I'm still in shock and my paranoia levels are sky high. It even makes you reconsider where you live," Darren said.

"It would have been the perfect murder ... and I just want people to know this is happening and be aware to not get out of their car, but call the police."

Darren said it was too dark to see their faces, so was unable to provide a description.

Lilydale Senior Sergeant Kevin Barrie said car theft had been an ongoing issue for police in the outer east, but carjackings were rare.

"People can ring police straight away (if there is a problem) or just drive to the nearest police station," Sen-Sgt Barrie said.

Crime Statistics Agency statistics reveal there were 171 carjackings across the state during the 12 months to April 2016, compared with 95 in the previous year.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Julie-Anne Newman said a rise in aggravated burglaries and carjackings had led to police rolling out a specialised operation in May, with more than 60 people arrested.

It comes as the state Opposition moves to make carjacking and aggravated carjacking criminal offences in their own right, with jail terms of 15 years and 25 years respectively.

TERRIFYING eyewitness accounts of a wild brawl onboard a Jetstar flight from Sydney to Phuket have emerged as authorities continue to investigate.

Jetstar said flight JQ27 was diverted to Denpasar after a group of five passengers, travelling together, were being "extremely disruptive" amongst themselves.

The pilot decided to divert the plane after the group refused to calm down and were handed over to Indonesian police.

After a two-hour delay the flight continued without incident to Phuket.

One of the alleged passengers posted an image on Facebook that appeared to show him and one of his travelling companions sitting on the plane before take-off from Sydney.
In response to comments on his Facebook page, the alleged passenger posted: "One of our group had an altercation so they took all six off the flight".

"We are being taken back to Australia on the news they said a brawl ect (sic) passengers were scared no such thing," the man posted on Facebook.

Passengers on the flight described a very different scene, taking to Facebook to tell of their terror.

The General Manager at Bali's Gusti Ngurah Rai airport, Trikora Harjo, said the airport had received a report from Jetstar that there were "unruly passengers fighting in the cabin" and the pilot had decided to divert the plane to Bali.

Mr Harjo said the men, who were being questioned by airport authorities, were found to be drunk and that three of the five involved in the melee had smelled of alcohol.

It is understood that the brawl involved five men – four against one.

Mr Harjo said the men would not be charged with any offence but would be sent home to Australia on a Jetstar flight on Friday.

"The other customers onboard supported the decision to offload the group in Bali and thanked the crew."

A social media user posted on the Sunrise Facebook page saying that three of her friends were on the flight.

"I've been talking to one of them this morning. She said it was really scary. She was in tears and kids etc were screaming," she wrote.

"Blood was everywhere. It was a massive punch-up."
