The flag will be sorely missed! However it can be replaced and it was a good sacrifice to get us on several news websites and a newspaper! All of which will reach an audience far wider than a single flag that remains in one spot could! Id say we walked away with the better end of he bargain!

You could make your own flag I guess out of an old white sheet from a charity shop, then paint what you want on it and hang it from the bridge? Then it is not too much of a loss.

So people have some really crafty ways of baiting reds that remove your propaganda. I was talking to this one guy who used "bondcrete" in the glue to make the flyers stick as an adhesive... but he also got the fragments of busted fluro tubes and ground them up and mixed that in the glue along with some rat poison. So who ever tried to rip it down got booby trapped. A little bit extream not something I'd pull.. but hey, a very crafty idea.

Perhaps use some chains and padlocks on your flag if it is on the bridge? That flag will go.. but will slow down those :- sandal wearing, bearded fruit juice drinking Reds if they think they can get up there and rip it down easy? Now they are going to have to come back with some kind of tool to remove it.

Razor blades behind stickers is a particularly nasty thing to do in my opinion and I wouldn't recommend it.
