Judge: Extremist attorneys who firebombed police car can still practice law in NY (but Giuliani can't)

National File is reporting that while former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani's license to practice law has been suspended, two leftist attorneys who firebombed an NYPD cruiser during last year's violent Black Lives Matter riots are going to be allowed to continue practicing law in the state. According to the outlet, the two attorneys, who are facing federal charges related to the firebombing last year could face up to 45 years in prison. Colinford Mattis works as a corporate lawyer while his co-conspirator Urooj Rahman is a "human rights" attorney Rahman was the perpetrator who tossed the Molotov cocktail into the console of a police cruiser then fled in a car driven by Mattis. The two had also been found to be producing and distributing Molotov cocktails to Black Lives Matter and antifa anarchists. Yet despite that, federal prosecutors are apparently trying to make a plea deal for the two.

Giuliani's "crime" was to question the narrative surrounding the November election.

National File, citing a New York Post report said that both Mattis and Rahman are negotiating with federal prosecutors, while a federal judge has given them the chance to work something out with the prosecutors prior to going to trial... neither Mattis nor Rahman are currently being held in jail, unlike those who participated in the "insurrection" in Washington, DC on January 6, many of whom are being held in squalid conditions for the crime of criminal trespass. Apparently trying to kill cops is much less egregious than sitting at Nancy Pelosi's desk. To add insult to injury, both anarchists remain able to practice law in New York State, with their law licenses still listed as "currently registered" with no disciplinary notice on either of their files as listed in the New York State Unified Court System licensing lookup.

Giuliani is entitled to a hearing, albeit a post suspension hearing, however most experts believe that due to politics, he will be permanently disbarred by the New York Bar, a heavily Democrat-controlled institution, all for the crime of exercising his First Amendment right to free speech. In a recent op-ed, Attorney Alan Dershowitz, hardly a conservative, slammed the New York Bar's suspension of Giuliani, calling it a politically motivated attack, as well as unconstitutional. "Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from the practice of law without a hearing, based largely on First Amendment-protected statements he made outside any court of law," Dershowitz wrote... Meanwhile, throwing Molotov cocktails inside police vehicles and providing them to terrorists to use against other police officers is apparently simply fine and dandy to the New York Bar Association.
