Excerpt: The latest news on the Paul Pelosi incident is that when the cops showed up at his house last week, he told them, "everything's good," and then walked back into his house as though he had nothing to fear from his alleged assailant, David DePape.

NBC pulled its story making these claims, with the explanation that, "The piece should not have aired because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards," according to the New York Post. The New York Post article noted that the NBC report seemingly contradicts court documents filed in David DePape's case, which stated Pelosi "nervously but calmly" greeted officers.

That's when Berkeley hippie David DePape allegedly whomped Nancy Pelosi's 82-year-old husband with a hammer.

On Friday, NBC News accidentally aired a report proving that the Paul Pelosi hammer attack was likely an inside job. The report revealed that Pelosi let police into his home, then walked away from them. Thelibertydaily.com reports: Of course, NBC News retracted the story, deleted the report, and claimed it didn't meet their "reporting standards." NBC News reported significant new details in the investigation into last week's attack on Paul Pelosi on Friday — and then promptly retracted the report as soon as those details began circulating online. In a Today Show segment that aired Friday morning, NBC News anchor Miguel Almaguer reported that Pelosi reacted in an unusual way to the arrival of police officers after calling 911 because a deranged man had broken into his house and was searching for his wife, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. "The front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. He did not declare an emergency or try to leave his home, instead began walking several feet back towards the assailant and away from police," Almaguer reported, citing "sources familiar with what unfolded in the Pelosi residence." It remains unclear whether Pelosi was injured or whether his mental state was impaired at the time he answered the door, NBC stipulated.

Why would the DOJ lie about this?

 Mystery still surrounds the horrific attack on House Speaker Nancy  Pelosi's husband Paul Pelosi at the couple's home in San Francisco.  Namely, who opened the door when police showed up? The initial police account of the attack indicated that an unnamed  third person opened the door when police arrived. Later, the DOJ's  narrative of events said police officers opened the door. Now, NBC is  reporting that a source who has seen the bodycam footage said the  footage clearly shows Paul Pelosi opening the door.

 So far, there has been no public statement from local SF law  enforcement or the Department of Justice about why there have been so  many discrepancies between the various narratives of the events that  night. Although Democrats and the mainstream media attempted to cast  Pelosi's attacker, David DePape, as a right-wing activist somehow  inspired by Republican political rhetoric, subsequent reporting has  revealed DePape was a one-time Barack Obama supporter and a frequent  user of hard drugs.
 

Once again - Paul Pelosi opened the door!

 In other words, rather than a political extremist,  he was just a nut (and an illegal alien from Canada). But that didn't  stop left-wing political commentators from weaponizing DePape's actions  prior to the midterm elections.
