The city of Chicago is so overwhelmed with illegal migrants that many of them are now living in police stations. One has to wonder why liberal voters in the city, who take pride in its status as a sanctuary city, have not stepped up and invited the migrants into their homes.  The conditions described at the police stations are not great.  Expired food, infections, infestations reported at CPD stations serving as makeshift shelters for immigrants.  Chicago's response to a growing immigrant crisis has turned police stations into makeshift shelters where asylum seekers have been provided with expired meal rations and where infections and infestations are a common problem.  Outgoing Mayor Lori Lightfoot has taken aim at Greg Abbott, the Republican governor of Texas who has been sending immigrants to Chicago and other sanctuary cities as a response to President Joe Biden's border policies. In an open letter Sunday, Lightfoot told Abbott that her administration was aware he planned to resume busing immigrants to Chicago and other cities on Monday, noting that 8,000 have already been sent here since August.

What a joke! Imagine being a Police recruit and having to work amongst that! Aren't there some old, rust belt towns  that are abandoned/low population? Go stick that lot in there!

Where I live in South Australia, it's known to be the driest state on the driest continent. It is, and the weather and scenery are much like South Africa and Texas. The thing is, this is also the Whitest state on the Whitest continent.

There's also plenty of work for somebody in your profession with your training. Think about it. Get yourself some tickets and you'll soon be Bound for South Australia.

The obvious fact is that they are all young military-age males with cell phones and fresh clothes.  They seem to be able to cross the Atlantic without swimming, and then travel in numbers on foot.  And the rule that the first stable country of stop is where they will settle is also BS, since they end up say in France or Greece with union jacks on their backpacks.
