American Idol Star Bo Bice Blasts ‘Racist Double Standards’

He's White and he was a victim of racism from minorities. Ever tried calling a black gentleman a "BLACK BOY?" With the reaction you'd get, you may as well have spat directly into his face and shouted "NIGGER!"

And if he was minor celebrity of no fame, you can bet your balls the MSM would make it front page headlines across the entire world.

The singer was at Popeye's, a fast food restaurant at Atlanta International Airport, when one of the employees went to give his order to a different person. The singer then claimed her co-worker said: "He already got his, that white boy there."

"The three ladies behind the counter asked whose food it was," Bo Bice said in an interview with Fox 5 in Atlanta. "Just when I turned around, one of them said 'that white boy.'"

The husband and father of four said the incident was shocking.

"If tables had been turned and I used something as insensitive like that ... I would be boycotted, people wouldn't buy my albums," Bice said.

Bice said all he wanted from the corporation was an apology, but he never got it.

Bice said this incident is part of a much bigger problem.

"It's time for us to wake up and start having some dialogue," Bice said. "It's not 1960, it's 2017 and we are all adults here."

The worker who said "white boy' has now been suspended after Bice complained on his social media accounts about her, and even posted a photo of the two women working along with the name of one on his Facebook page.

"And the fact that I have to come on TV and calm down a notch, and look like a petty little brat by tweeting and Facebooking this just to open up dialogue so we can have an adult conversation is ridiculous."

Bice, who was runner-up on the fourth season of American Idol, then pointed directly at the camera and said: "America, you should be ashamed."

Bice said he has since faced a massive backlash for his comments with Facebook deleting his original post while many on social media have attacked the star for his views.

In a new Facebook post, the singer said he was "not sorry" he spoke up about the incident.

"The backlash on social media from speaking out proves my point that we have a major problem with racial prejudice in our country and society," he said.

"I'd like for the rational person who takes the time to read the entire post, look down the comments and judge for yourself if there is a problem.

Look through the comments of hate and ignorance that have been pouring in and tell me there isn't a problem with race relation going on in our society folks."
