A woman accused of assault asked social media users to share the video showing her being hit with batons during arrest.

Sydney Police have defended their officers against accusations of brutality after a video went viral showing a woman being held down and struck with batons as she was arrested. The woman was one of four people held for the alleged assault of a taxi driver and female police officer at 1.45am on Wednesday morning. A bystander recorded the video on a mobile phone. In it, voices can be heard shouting: "She's not resisting arrest."

The woman being arrested is model   Claire Helen  who encouraged people to share the video on social media. Police say one member of her group had punched the taxi driver over an argument about the fare. The taxi driver then flagged down a passing police car and an altercation with the officer began. Superintendent Michael Fitzgerald says the video only tells part the story and CCTV shows Ms Helen punching a female officer in the mouth before the arrest.

He added: "Police are not punching bags. Neither are taxi drivers." Ms Helen and the three men who were also arrested have been granted bail and will appear in court on 6 January.

"TWO young men have appeared in court charged with terror offences for helping a 17-year-old boy travel to Syria to join Islamic State militants. Kristen Brekke, 18, also known as Kaleem, and Forhad Rahman, 20, appeared in separate hearings at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with assisting in the preparation of an act of terrorism.

Rahman, from Cirencester, in Gloucestershire, is accused of assisting Aseel Muthana to travel to the war-torn country in February. He also faces two counts of possessing data on his phone that could assist terrorism. Brekke, from Grangetown, Cardiff, dressed in a grey suit and white shirt, is charged with assisting Muthana travel to Syria.

Both men were refused bail by District Judge Emma Arbuthnot and were remanded in custody to appear separately at the Old Bailey on December 19....

Hundreds of young women in the UK are desperate to join Islamic State and become jihadi brides, a London-based researcher on radicalisation warned today. Melanie Smith, 22, is in direct contact with 53 women from Europe who have either made it to Syria or attempted to go there. But the researcher at King's College International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, who tracks women and girls who want to marry into the terror group, said soaring numbers of British citizens are being brainwashed by jihadists over the internet every day.

Miss Smith talks to these women on Ask.fm, the site on which IS fighters can often be found updating the world on their thoughts and activities. "There must be hundreds of girls wanting to go across," she said. "I come across girls every day who say, 'I'm so desperate to go over there but it's just so hard for me.' I saw someone say this morning, 'I want to come but I'm a full-time mum.' And someone said, 'Just bring your kids.' The proportion of girls who eventually make the transition from wanting to go to physically going is tiny. But there are so many people who want to go."

She said one girl on Ask.fm told her of "a thing called Jihad Matchmaker" on Twitter: "You follow it, it follows you back, you send a picture of yourself with your veil and the men choose from hundreds of headshots."

Miss Smith added: "I'd say 90 per cent of the Ask.fm messages to these jihadi men are marriage proposals. It's 'You're so attractive. Will you marry me if I come to Syria?'" Aqsa Mahmood, who tweets under the name Umm Layth, is one of the women Miss Smith is tracking. The 20-year-old radiography degree dropout from Glasgow married an IS fighter and has become one of the group's most hardline internet activists.

Miss Smith said that independence is a huge incentive. "There may be pressure from parents: 'You should study for your A-levels so you can go to university so you can be a doctor or a lawyer or an engineer.' They say they have more freedom in IS." But once there, she warned, it is near impossible to leave. "The people around you and the entire state in which you live would probably kill you if you said you wanted to go home openly. Once you're there you're not supposed to leave. It's the rest of your life." The British researchers now believe the 16-year-old twins from Manchester who travelled to Syria earlier in the summer have split up and are living with their own male fighter husbands.

Salma and Zahra Halane, who have 28 GCSEs between them left Chorlton, Greater Manchester and arrived in Raqqa in June.

Miss Smith said a famous Dutch jihadi, known as Yilmaz, who married this week has 'broken the hearts' of scores of Western Muslim women who have all made marriage proposals in the last few months. A monitor of Yilmaz's internet accounts show that he received an astonishing 10,000 marriage requests during his time as a jihadi fighter up until his marriage. Miss Smith said: "it is clear that some of these women who have been travelling to Syria have since married jihadists and foreign fighters". Some, said Miss Smith, want to marry a martyr.

Umm Waqqas, the British woman with the al-Khanssaa brigade, recently tweeted: "The wives my husband will get in Jannah [paradise] are beyond perfecto In Shaa Allah.... Best co-wives any girl could ask for." There is evidence the women are bored in Raqqa, often confined to their houses. There is evidence some have asked to abandon their domestic work and switch to fighting. But last week such calls from women to be allowed to fight provoked a response from the al-Khanssaa: "Sisters take note that the battlefield is not for you unless Muslims are in dire need of both women AND men. You can benefit in other ways."

Aqsa Mahmood, the former private schoolgirl now working for the al-Khanssaa brigade, is typical of the impressionable young women who have turned to jihad and married a fighter out there. The move has left her parents heartbroken.

In an interview with the American broadcaster CNN, her father Muzaffar Mahmood pleaded with her to return home. "Aqsa – my dear daughter please come back, I'm missing you so much. Your brothers and sisters miss you a lot. My dearest daughter, in the name of Allah, please come home. I love you." It is a plea that will likely fall on deaf ears. Before crossing the border into Syria, she made one last phone calls to her parents at home. She told them: "I will see you on the day of judgement. I will take you to heaven, I will hold your hand," before adding ominously: "I want to become a martyr."

French jihadists complain about the cold, not knowing how to fight and how their iPods are running out Letters from French jihadists home to their parents have revealed the misery, boredom and fear suffered by Islamist recruits as the gloss fades from their big adventure. In a series of letters seen by Le Figaro newspaper, some of the 376 French currently fighting in Syria have begged for advice on how to return.

Others have complained that, rather than participating in a noble battle, they have been acting as jihadi dogsbodies.  "I've basically done nothing except hand out clothes and food," wrote one, who wants to return from Aleppo. "I also help clean weapons and transport dead bodies from the front. Winter's arrived here. It's begun to get really hard."  Another writes: "I'm fed up. They make me do the washing up." One Frenchman whinged that he wanted to come home because he was missing the comforts of life in France.

I'm fed up. My iPod doesn't work any more here. I have to come back." A third wrote fearfully: "They want to send me to the front, but I don't know how to fight." Others were concerned, more prosaically, about the nationality of their baby, which was born in Syria and so not recognised by the French state.  And Le Figaro said that, among Islamist commanders, it had been noticed that some of the French were beginning to want to leave. One Frenchman was rumoured to have been beheaded when he explained to the emir that he wanted to follow his friend who had already left.

"Everyone knows that, the longer these people stay there, the worse it will be because having watched or committed attrocities, they become ticking time bombs," said one lawyer, quoted in Le Figaro. "But, when it comes to having a discussion about whether France is ready to accept repentants, no politician is willing to take the risk. Imagine if one of these ex-jihadis is involved subsequently in an attack?"

A group of lawyers in France are acting on behalf of the families of the young people to try and persuade the state to allow the jihadis to return. They told the newspaper that they are trying to make discrete contact with the anti-terrorist police, the directors of internal security and the office of the interior minister.

The lawyers said that nothing is ever agreed in advance, on behalf of the jihadis - and the advice is always: "Present yourself at the French consulat in Istanbul or Erbil (in Iraq). And then we will see."  Of the approximately 100 jihadists who have returned to France, 76 are in prison. And the report said that Britain was known as the global leader in reforming jihadists - so much so that some within the French system were asking to be seconded to MI5 - "famed for their art of debriefing".

"Within the secret services, it's said that British jihadis are more interesting because they have a higher intellectual level than their French colleagues, who are more often donkeys," one expert told the paper.  The story of the French jihadis has parallels with that of an Indian man who spent six months fighting alongside Isis in Iraq, before becoming disillusioned with his job cleaning toilets, and returning to Mumbai.  Majeed, 23, was one of four young Muslim men from Kalyan, a city east of Mumbai, known to have journeyed to the Middle East to join the extremist outfit.

"There was neither a holy war nor any of the preachings in the holy book were followed," Majeed is quoted as saying during his interrogation. Islamic State "fighters raped many women there," he reportedly said.

The chief investigator pursuing Alois Brunner, one of the world's most wanted German Nazi war criminals, has told the BBC that he is "99% sure" that he died four years ago in Syria. "We cannot prove it forensically, but we are certain that is the case," Nazi-hunter Efraim Zuroff said. SS captain Brunner, who would now be 102, is accused of deporting more than 128,000 Jews to death camps in WWII.  For many years there has been uncertainty as to whether he is dead.



Dr Zuroff - director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Jerusalem - told the BBC that new information had recently come to light about Brunner's death and burial in Damascus from a "reliable" former German secret service agent who had served in the Middle East. He said that the new evidence revealed that Brunner was buried in an unknown location in Damascus around 2010 and was unrepentant of his crimes. In April Brunner was removed from the Simon Wiesenthal Center's most wanted list, in a move signifying that it considered him to be dead. Dr Zuroff - who is also a Holocaust historian - said that the latest information provided more concrete evidence to support that conclusion."[Brunner] played a key role in the implementation of Hitler's 'Final Solution' to murder Jews," Dr Zuroff said, "and was a monster." He said that Brunner sent 47,000 Jews in Austria, 44,000 in Greece, 23,500 in France and 14,000 in Slovakia to camps where most were murdered.

Torture tactics
In the 1950s Brunner is believed to have fled to Syria. He reportedly later served as an adviser to President Hafez al-Assad and is thought to have instructed his government on torture tactics.

Brunner was in charge of the Drancy internment camp outside Paris where Jews rounded up in France were held before being sent to the death camps. An estimated 345 children were among his victims.  Dr Zuroff said that Brunner survived at least two Israeli intelligence assassination attempts while in Syria in 1961 and 1980. He said that the Syrian civil war made it impossible to know the precise location of Brunner's grave.

Fear of revenge attacks follow the shooting of a Shiite Muslim in a drive-by attack in Sydney's south-west. Rasoul Al-Musawi was closing up an Islamic prayer centre on Rosedale Avenue is Greenacre when the attack occurred, with friends claiming he was targeted targeted by people claiming to be supporters of Islamic State.

Mr Al-Musawi was shot in the face and shoulder while he was with his wife and four of his children at the Husainiyah Nabi Akram centre. Mr Al-Musawi's friend - who did not wish to be named - is a Shiite Muslim and said the shooting in Greenacre was motivated by the sectarian struggle in the Middle East.

'They called us "Shia dogs" and they threatened to come back down tonight and kill you, shoot you, whatever,' he told ABC Radio on Monday.  The man said they had taken no notice of the threats made on the night of the shooting - which also included 'IS lives forever' - but then he received a phone call saying his friend had been shot.

'He was walking his family home so he can come back and do the cleaning [at the Islamic Centre] and they shot him in front of his family,' he said. 'His wife, she just fainted.'  Mr Al-Musawi's daughter said he was shot from behind and she and her father were leaving the Islamic prayer centre.

'We heard two loud bangs. My dad just held his neck and ran inside,' she told Network Ten. 'All I see was blood running down his head and neck.'He is now in a stable condition after undergoing surgery, and police described his wounds as 'not life threatening'

"It is disturbing that this question is being illustrated in such a manner even though it's satirical in nature.
"Why is it necessary to differentiate according to race and class to establish what a person's life-expectancy would be?
That is discriminating and unnecessary,' commented Carien Bloem, head of Afriforum's educational campaigns.
Afriforum wants an explanation as to why such an illustration was allowed in the test-paper in the first place.
"We would also like to know what Minister Angie Motshekga 's viewpoint is about this matter.

THE NSW Police Force has welcomed a Muslim sheik into its ranks in what Islamic leaders say is a significant step forward for community relations. Commissioner Andrew Scipione, together with the Grand Mufti of Australia, Ibrahim Abu Mohammed, attended a cere*mony yesterday that marked the investiture of Ahmed Abdo, who fills a chaplaincy role that has been vacant since 2011.

Sheik Abdo, 34, yesterday said he was thrilled to fill a role considered crucial in helping police officers deal with the most challenging aspects of their work.

"This is a remarkable day that not only symbolises but actualises the beliefs, principles and morals that I hold dear in my life," Sheik Abdo told The Australian. "This is now giving back what I have received in help, assistance and support from the police force back when I was in high school."

Sheik Abdo, a university business degree graduate who received his religious studies in Andalusia, southern Spain, and in Yemen, said his interest in serving in the police force was sparked when, as a teenager growing up in southwest Sydney, he was subject to relentless bullying.

"I was being bullied and discriminated against, and I was *afforded the opportunity to visit the local police station," he said."The officer there comforted and assisted me and ensured that violence would not continue against me. Here I am 20 years later, here to honour and give back what was given to me."

Dr Abu Mohammed said the investiture was important not only for Muslim police officers but for the wider community."I think it's a great day for our community and the whole Australian people," he said. "We are a part of the Australian community, we share in everything, we respect the law and Australian values.

"Sheik Ahmed is a very good speaker, a good role model and a very good family man." Sheik Abdo succeeds Sheik Khalil Chami, who died in 2011. In his role within the chaplaincy, Sheik Abdo will assist Muslim sworn and non-sworn police officers dealing with critical and traumatic events.

He will also be on hand to provide counselling for officers dealing with personal and moral problems relating to work, marriage, relationships and family, as well as assisting in marriage celebrations and other religious ceremonies when required.

Mr Scipione said Sheik Abdo's investiture cemented the strength of the police force as a multi-faith, multicultural organisation. "I wholeheartedly welcome Sheik Abdo to the family of the NSW Police Force," he said. "I am sure that he will make a substantial contribution to those who call upon his wisdom and guidance."

The country will choose whether to place limits on the number of foreigners making it their home amid an argument over resources. Switzerland will decide on Sunday whether to curb immigration into the landlocked country, in a referendum proposed by an environmental group.

Ecopop wants to limit the number of foreigners to 0.2% percent of the population annually because it claims a current influx is stretching the nation's natural resources. Just under a quarter of the country's eight million people was born abroad which, together with Australia, is the highest percentage of any country in the world.

Even though Switzerland is outside the European Union, it is allowed access to the single market after signing the bilateral Free Movement of Persons Agreement, which means it has to open its borders to EU migrants.

But opponents argue that the number of people entering the country has forced up rents and put pressure on public services. In February another referendum, introduced by the anti-immigration Swiss People's Party, narrowly passed although the EU has rejected any attempt to renege on negotiated trade agreements.

If Swiss voters support this weekend's poll it could put more pressure on the government to heed the will of its people. Andreas Thommen, a spokesman for Ecopop, told Sky News that the measure is not motivated by anything other than concern for the country's limited resources.

"It's a question of resources, it's a question of protection of nature," he said. "It's a protection of the quality of life for the human beings in this country. "The problem is one of (over) population."

Powerful opponents are ranged against the measure, especially from the hospitality trade which relies on foreign workers. At the Gstaad Palace hotel, which has hosted international royalty as well as Madonna and [the paedophile] Michael Jackson, they warn against any restrictions.

Owner and general manager Andrea Scherz says two thirds of his workforce was born overseas. He said: "I think I would struggle to find this workforce in Switzerland, people who want to clean rooms, people who want to be waiters.

"The Swiss are not the best waiters. Therefore we have Italians." Switzerland is often held up by British eurosceptics as an example of how the UK could leave the European Union but negotiate access to its lucrative single market.

There are two other votes also being held this weekend: one which would force the Swiss government to stockpile more gold to withstand global economic turbulence and another which would close tax loopholes for wealthy expats. All have been interpreted as a new anti-business mood among the Swiss electorate.

Hundreds of black asylum seekers who were chased from the Home Affairs Department at the Foreshore in Cape Town South Africa, rioted on Thursday 27 November 2014. They were told by officials that they 'couldn't be helped' at the Cape Town Home Affair office and should rather return to their home countries or to try their luck at Home Affairs offices in Pretoria or at the Limpopo border. It's not known at the moment why the Home Affairs Department in Cape Town is turning them away. There already are an estimated 5 million illegal black residents from other African countries in South Africa - putting a massive strain in the country's resources.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain is facing the biggest terrorism threat in its history and has foiled around 40 major plots since suicide bombers attacked London in 2005, Home Secretary Theresa May said on Monday.

The government would on Wednesday set out new laws to take on the militants, May added, including legislation making it easier for security services to track attackers online, and check if radicalised fighters were flying into Britain.

"When the security and intelligence agencies tell us that the threat we face is now more dangerous than at any time before or since 9/11 we should take notice," the home secretary said in a speech.

Insurance companies would be barred from providing cover for ransom payments under the new legislation and airlines would be banned if they failed to provide information on passengers flying to Britain, she added.

The government has said Britons returning from fighting in Syria and Iraq provide one of the most serious threats.

May said around 40 terrorist plots had been disrupted since four young Britons carried out suicide bomb attacks in London in 2005, killing 52 people.

These included attempts to conduct Mumbai-style gun attacks on British streets, blow up the London Stock Exchange, bring down airliners and murder a British ambassador and military servicemen, she added.

Planned new measures include giving police the power to seize for up to 30 days the passports of British and foreign nationals suspected of travelling to take part in terrorist-related activities, said May.

The new laws will also make it easier for police to identify who is using an Internet service at any given time.

London's top police officer on Sunday said authorities are increasingly worried about a "lone wolf"-style attack and have foiled four or five plots this year.

On Monday, Mark Rowley, Britain's top counter-terrorism officer, said police were "stretched" but had stepped up their efforts, making 271 arrests this year. Warning the threat would remain high for several years, he said the public's help was needed in spotting potential attackers.

Around half of Britons travelling to Syria are newly radicalised and not previously known to police, Rowley said.

"I would never use the word inevitable but of course ... terrorists do sometimes succeed," he added. "We are going to do everything we possibly can do to stop that happening."

Britain raised its terrorism alert to the second-highest level in August, saying an attack was now "highly likely".

Denmark paid unemployment benefits to 28 people while they were waging war for the Islamic State (IS) group in Syria, the Danish intelligence service was quoted as saying on Thursday.

Out of the 28 Danish people identified by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) as having received benefits, 15 had been ordered to pay the money back, eight people were still being investigated, and five cases had been dropped due to insufficient evidence, tabloid BT reported.

"It is incredibly important that we are not naive," Danish Justice Minister Mette Frederiksen told the daily when asked about the data, which was found by merging records kept by different authorities. Denmark has one of the world's most generous unemployment insurance systems, with those on the scheme receiving up to 801 kroner per day (108 euros, $134) for up to two years.

However, some of the jihadists were on a significantly more modest basic unemployment benefit also paid in Denmark. Denmark has the second largest number of foreign fighters in Syria relative to its size among Western nations, after Belgium, according to some estimates.

The Danish intelligence service has said "more than 100" Danes have left the country for Syria's bloody civil war, but a Danish commentator on Middle Eastern affairs, Naser Khader, said he believed the estimate - from June - was higher and needed to be revised upwards.

"The figure is rising in many other countries, so why should that not be the case in Denmark?" he told the Berlingske newspaper. Germany's intelligence agency said last week it believes 550 Germans have joined extremist groups in Syria and Iraq. Authorities had previously estimated the number at 450.

Johannesburg - The reopening of the land claims process and concerns about farm attacks in South Africa were among issues presented to the United Nations Human Rights Commission Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, on Wednesday, the FF Plus said.

Freedom Front Plus leader Pieter Mulder said the commission's theme for the year was "Preventing and addressing violence and atrocities targeted against minorities".    "It therefore joins up perfectly with the message of the FF Plus about the fate of minorities in South Africa," he said in a statement.

The FF Plus would make four presentations to the UN forum on the topics of farm attacks, land claims, affirmative action and what it called the "dismantling of Afrikaans". On farm attacks, the FF Plus asked for help to address and prevent further attacks on farmers and farm workers, which the minority political party claimed amounted to "genocide".

It urged the forum to "recommend that the UN general secretary initiates a full investigation to pressurise the SA government to immediately implement effective measures to put an end to these atrocities". The FF Plus also told the forum that the re-opening of land claims in South Africa threatened food security, economic growth, and the prosperity to the entire South African nation.

"The ideological political propaganda which seeks to bolster emotional support relies on the misleading myth that based on Histo-Geo-Political facts the white farmers stole the land from black people which is vehemently rejected with the contempt it deserves."

On affirmative action, "our request is that this forum... takes serious note of the attempts by the present South African government to absolutely exclude Afrikaners in South Africa from freely participating in economic activities in the country since 1994". They submit that Afrikaners are a strategic minority contributing to job creation, economic growth and prosperity for the good of the whole of South Africa.

The FF Plus also submitted a presentation in which it claimed that the South African government was trying to "dilute and eventually eradicate Afrikaans-language mother-tongue education for Afrikaans speakers".

Policeman's colleagues complain about WhatsApp status that 'You can only trust a dead white man'
Netwerk24 reports that the police are taking disciplinary steps against a black police sergeant from the dog unit in Pretoria for having indicated on his WhatsApp status "Never Trust the White Man, the only Time you Trust Him is when he is Dead". 

Twelve of Hendric (Muthi) Mthimunye's white colleagues lodged a complaint against him when they saw the status posting on his WhatsApp profile.  Mthimunye's colleagues regard the posting as racist and hate speech.  The complaint reads: "We work daily with him as part of an armed response unit of the police.  We feel that we can't trust a person who makes blatantly racist remarks and promotes hate speech against white people.  As police members we must trust each other and rely on each other for protection in the most unbelievably dangerous situations." (freely translated).  They also believe Mthimunye's words are inappropriate for a policeman and bring the police into disrepute.  Solidarity's Dirk Groenewald, who is handling the matter on behalf of the complainants, said a letter had been sent to Mthimunye's commanding officer in which it was requested that steps be taken against him.  A police provincial spokesman confirmed that Mthimunye's superior was investigating a complaint. 

Mthimunye said the whole matter was a misunderstanding and that he had already sent a letter of apology.

Americans Rally Across the Country After Ferguson Decision

Thousands of people rallied late Monday in U.S. cities including Los Angeles and New York to passionately but peacefully protest a grand jury's decision not to indict a white police officer who killed a black 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri.

They led marches, waved signs and shouted chants of "hands up, don't shoot," the refrain that has become a rallying cry in protests over police killings across the country.

The most disruptive demonstrations were in St. Louis and Oakland, California, where protesters flooded the lanes of freeways, milling about stopped cars with their hands raised in the air.  

Activists had been planning to protest even before the nighttime announcement that Officer Darren Wilson will not be charged in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

[French anti-racism group SOS Racisme]

The French anti-racism group SOS Racisme marks its 30th anniversary today. Formed in 1984 to tackle racism, the organization still faces many of the challenges that inspired its initial creation, including the alarming rise of the Far Right in France and across Europe. It was a historic march against inequality that led to SOS Racisme's creation 30 years ago.

In 1983, thousands of demonstrators poured out onto France's towns and cities, to vent their anger against the prejudice suffered by the country's North African immigrant population. It was in this explosive racist climate, that the French anti-racist group SOS Racisme sprung to life, adopting the iconic slogan:     "Don't touch my friend,"   featured on a big yellow hands-up sign.   

The youngest of four anti-racism groups in France, the principle of the association is to defend ethnic minorities against discrimination. Thirty years after its creation, its battle is still the same, except now it faces new challenges. Bernadette Hétier, co-president of the MRAP anti-racist movement in Paris, says the danger now is the Front National party, which has capitalized on anti-immigration sentiment.

Recovering: the Mansfield mother and daughter are thankful to be alive after a brutal attack on their smallholding in Tarlton.

  "I do not understand why he attacked me, but because we know who it was, it is easier to deal with."  

A mother and daughter from Tarlton are lucky to be alive after being attacked brutally by a worker who had lived with them for 18 years.

Phyllis and Isabel Mansfield are recovering at home after the attack on 1 November in their horse stables on their smallholding. Isabel, the mother was discharged the Wednesday after the incident whereas Phyllis, the mother of the three-year-old who witnessed the attack, only was discharge almost a week later.

The news reported about the attack on the front page of its 14 November edition." This has been an enormous trauma on Annabelle, seeing that she witnessed everything," said Phyllis.

Little Annabelle now suffers from horrible nightmares and is concerned constantly about the safety of her mother and grandmother." Where is he? Why did he beat mommy and granny? Where is he hiding and when will he return?" are some of the questions Annabelle asked.

Besides her shaven head covered in stitches, Phyllis temporarily cannot use her hands as they are still recovering after being injured severely in the attack.Even though doctors are satisfied with the recovery of Phyllis' hands, they are very concerned about the injuries to her head.

Phyllis believes that had her mother not come to see what the commotion in the stable was all about, she probably would have been dead."He looked possessed, I am sure he wanted to beat me to death; I could see it in his eyes. He knew our routine and he was premeditating the attack," an emotional Phyllis described the ordeal.

She remembers hearing her mother asking the attacker what was going on before witnessing him beating the elderly woman over the head from behind. She said she thought her mother was dead."I made the mistake to try and get up after the first attack but he came back and beat me another five times. I then decided to lie still and play dead," Isabel said.

The attacker assumed the grandmother to be dead and continued beating Phyllis before fleeing from the stables."I do not understand why he attacked me, but because we know who it was, it is easier to deal with."The news understands that once apprehended the attacker will face changes of attempted murder and assault.Although the family had received a lead about the whereabouts of the attacker, he is still at large.

Everyone knows the government, with its lapdog mainstream media in lockstep, has whipped up the Ferguson situation into a total frenzy. It doesn't matter what the grand jury decides now. Fear and anger are very powerful weapons and everyone who has allowed the powers that (shouldn't) be to steer their emotions on this one has taken the bait. The cops have stocked up on nearly $200k worth of riot gear, less-lethal ammunition and the like. Ferguson residents have been advised to go get guns because the cops won't be able to protect them all from what's coming. Firearm sales in the area have skyrocketed. Everyone is on edge. Missouri's governor has now preemptively declared a 30-day state of emergency and called out the National Guard — and the grand jury hasn't even made it's decision yet! Basically, it's on. Ferguson, however, is not the only city set to hold protests immediately following the Darren Wilson grand jury announcement. Actually, they aren't even being referred to as protests anymore. They are now being called "planned responses."

Has also been charged with child endangerment and criminal sexual contact A substitute teacher in a northern New Jersey school district is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student. Passaic County Prosecutors say 21-year-old Linda Hardan, of Prospect Park, also is charged with child endangerment and criminal sexual contact. The charges were filed Friday and made public on Saturday.

Hardan is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old student from Manchester Regional High School, where she worked as a substitute teacher.

Prosecutors say the alleged incident occurred Thursday in Wayne, but further details about the incident and the victim were not disclosed.According to NorthJerysey.com, Hardan allegedly met up with the student outside of school hours. She then transported him to a location in Wayne.

The alleged sexual encounter occurred in the parked car. Hardan could face nearly 17 years in prison if convicted on all counts

That is the total of 10 years in prison on the charge of sexual assault, up to five on the charge of endangering the welfare of a child and up to 18 months on the charge of criminal sexual contact. She was remanded in custody on $250,000 bail. It was not known Saturday if Hardan had retained an attorney.

The European Union is expected this month to lift most of its remaining sanctions against Zimbabwe, the bloc's top diplomat said Tuesday.

"I think we probably are now in the right place to do this, on the basis that if things go badly we can move back again," EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton told lawmakers at the European Parliament.

The EU imposed sanctions on the southern African country in 2002, in response to a government crackdown on the opposition and the eviction of white farmers from agricultural land.

These have gradually been lifted in recent years, following political improvements, but measures have remained in place against key individuals in President Robert Mugabe's inner circle.

Ashton said Tuesday that she had just given her approval for most of these to be lifted, after holding lengthy discussions with EU member states and with politicians in Zimbabwe.

However, they gave the weapons to someone else. The men have been indicted on Federal charges of making "straw purchases."

The pair were in Federal court today. There are claims that Olajuwon Davis could also be charged with trying to purchase a pipe bomb.The FBI previously issued a warning to local police departments that the NBPP was "inciting violence" over the Mike Brown shooting.

The NBPP advocates race war and says Allah will aid the black race in exterminating all white people in North America. They espouse Nation of Islam [NOI] theology. Despite their violent rhetoric, they receive support from a large number of black celebrities. Al Sharpton co-sponsored a rally with the NBPP in Harlem in 1998. Last week on the Veteran's Day parade in Albany, Oregon, residents found flyers against White Genocide placed on their car windshields.

The flyers featured the phrases "ANTI-RACIST is a code word for ANTI-WHITE" and "DIVERSITY is a code word for WHITE GENOCIDE."

Some anti-Whites were outraged and called the police and local government, and wrote letters to the Democrat-Herald.

According to the Democrat-Herald, Peter Goodman, a member of "Community Action For Racial Equity" or "C.A.R.E", a local activist group, opposed the message of the White Genocide flyers.

He said "When something like this happens we encourage people to make an individual protest [...] Contact the police or write to the paper to let the community we don't want that here."

Legally speaking, "hate" means something that targets a group. When anti-Whites like Goodman say "hate", what they mean is "I hate it".

Mbombela - An Mpumalanga man found guilty of beating to death an elderly farmer with a hammer has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment on Thursday. Welcome Zenzele Bulunga, 22, from Mganduzweni Trust near White River, was sentenced after pleading guilty to murder, robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition in the Nelspruit Circuit of the High Court, a Sapa correspondent reported.

Bulunga was found guilty of killing Gerhardus Petrus de Beer, 82, and assaulting his blind wife, Nicolina Albertina Jacoba de Beer, 81, at their Spioenkop Farm near White River on October 10, 2013. He was arrested 13 days later.

The court heard that after assaulting the couple, Bulunga robbed them of two cellphones, a wrist watch, a television set, and two firearms. According to the post-mortem results, De Beer succumbed to 23 injuries inflicted by Bulunga with a blunt instrument. His wife sustained a fractured hand.
In his plea statement, read out by his lawyer Percy Tshabalala, Bulunga said he was looking for grazing land for cattle near the farm on the day of the crime.

"I passed a farm house and saw a lawnmower on the lawn. I jumped over the fence and as I pushed it back towards the fence, I found a broken window in one of the buildings. "When looking inside, I discovered it was a workshop full of tools. As I tried entering, an elderly man approached. I grabbed a hammer from the workshop, jumped over two fences and assaulted him," he said.
Bulunga said he pushed open the door of the farmer's house, found an old woman sitting on a chair, assaulted her with the hammer and demanded cash.

"When she replied she had none, I then saw the two firearms on the wall and took them. I also took the other items. While I was walking out carrying them, I saw the elderly man coming. I put the TV down and assaulted him again with the hammer," the court heard. Bulunga said he ran to his grandmother's house in the village.

The next day he sold the two cellphones to Siphiwe Nkosi and Nonhlanhla Mashaba for R100 and R70. He took the firearms to his sister's house and hid them in the back seat of an old Isuzu bakkie. "I give this statement with heartfelt remorse and ask for forgiveness from the De Beer family," he said.

Passing sentencing, Judge Peter Mabuse said: "You attacked the defenceless couple in the safety of their own home with no strength to protect themselves. The woman sustained a fractured hand as she tried protecting herself with bare hands."
He noted that Bulunga never gave a motive for the offence.

"You are sentenced to a total of 30 years imprisonment and declared unfit to possess a firearm," Mabuse said.

'This means that jobs will evolve and so will real estate development.'

Workspaces with rows of desks will become completely redundant, not because they are not fit for purpose, but simply because that purpose no longer exists, according to the report.

'The next fifteen years will see a revolution in how we work, and a corresponding revolution will necessarily take place on how we plan and think about workplaces,' said Peter Andrew, Director of Workplace Strategy for CBRE Asia Pacific.

A growing proportion of jobs in the future will require creativity intelligence, social skills and the ability to leverage artificial intelligence.

'And for most people that will be a route to happiness and fulfilment,' the report states.
