We Will Not Compromise

More often than I can recall, well meaning friends have cautioned me with "I agree with everything you say, but you come on too strong. You
turn people off. Why don't you use a more soft approach and use the art of gentle persuasion? Water it down somewhat. Compromise here and
there. It is too much of a shock for the average White Man." And more of the same.

There is a lot of merit in the above advice. The idea is to get people to see the light without really disturbing them too much. If possible
persuade them without any shock and without making them feel uncomfortable. Let them keep their age-old superstitions about their favorite
spooks. Don't disturb their favorite hang-ups. Don't point the finger at the Jews. Don't bring up that nasty race issue. Live and let live. People
will like you a lot better that way. Business as usual. By the time these friends get through showering you with kind advice you are back in the
good old rut, where you gripe about what is going on, you deplore and lament, but the total effectiveness of any opposition to the Jewish
juggernaut has been neutralized to exactly zero. There we are, right back into the ranks of the good old Kosher Konservatives.

At this point I am reminded of a ploy we used in the Florida Legislature when some Representative would drone on in a long-winded
meaningless speech. When it was over someone would get up and say sweetly, "Your point is so subtle it completely escapes me." In contrast
to the above I am reminded of another story about the tourist visiting the Ozarks. He was appalled when he witnessed a hillbilly hitting a mule
between the eyes with a two by four. When the tourist asked the hillbilly "Why did you hit the mule on the head with a two by four?" the hillbilly
replied "When you're dealing with mules, the first thing you have to learn is that you first of all have to attract their attention."

So we have two divergent approaches: the subtle approach or hit them between the eyes with a two by four. Which serves our purpose better?
Before we come to a conclusion on this question there is another little story that I would like to relate that might help us to clarify the situation.
A young insurance salesman was called into his boss's office and presented with a rather unpleasant task. "You know that nice young couple,
John and Mary you sold that life insurance policy to last week? Well, we have just received word that John was killed in an automobile crash
this afternoon. I want you to go to Mary and break the news gently to her so that it won't upset her too much." The young salesman was
stunned. He thought about it for a while and then he asked his boss, "Just how do I go about doing that?"

This is a good question and it is one that confronts us Creators in our program of waking up our deluded and misguided White Racial
Comrades who have been deceived, lied to, programmed and led down the road to slaughter for all these centuries. How do you go about
breaking gently to them that their preacher wittingly or unwittingly, is part of this Jewish fraud? How do you reveal to them that even their own
parents were caught in this vast Jewish lie and helped brainwash them into becoming traitors to their own race? That their "own" government is
part and parcel of this conspiracy and is betraying the United States and selling us out to the Jews and mud races of the world? How do you
"break this gently" to the well meaning but hopelessly naive deluded White Racial Comrades?

The answer is YOU CANT! There is no way in the world you can expose this whole treacherous mess without shocking them, without causing
pain, without many times even making bitter enemies of people who should be on our side.

Yet, the job has to be done, and evidently no one other than the Church of the Creator is willing to tackle it. Oh yes, there are ten thousand
other organizations (mostly Kosher Konservatives) that are doling out bits and pieces of the conspiracy, but somehow they never seem to get
the whole picture together. Usually they CANNOT and they WILL NOT let go of some of their own pet hang-ups that they are saddled with,
whether it be the spooks-in-the-sky swindle, or they have some Jewish friends (therefore all Jews can't be bad!) or whether it be some other
idiocy. Usually these Kosher Konservatives end up steering you down a no-win blind alley. They invariably end up with a no solution program -
just deplore and lament - and they will assuage your apathy further by frankly admitting they don't have a solution.

The Church of the Creator has been assiduously trying to avoid getting caught in this kind of a no-win, pointless self-flagellation. We say this:
either we go all out and make the total effort to win, or we might as well throw in the towel and go fishing. Why waste a lot of useless effort if
you don't have the PROGRAM to win, and don't know HOW to win?

In CREATIVITY we are convinced the White Race now has the answer. In CREATIVITY we are convinced that we have the TOTAL
PROGRAM, the FINAL SOLUTION, the ULTIMATE CREED. We are convinced that the design and the blueprint are now completed and
finished. We need tamper with that no longer. We can now concentrate completely and devote our total efforts on selling it to our White Racial
Comrades, on propagandizing, on proselytizing and organizing.

There no longer is a question of WHAT to do. We KNOW what to do. The only question is HOW do we do it best - how do we best use means
and ways available to us to spread the word, to organize our supporters? How do we best utilize our resources? We MUST and we WILL use
the organized muscle and the awesome power of a polarized White Race to get the Jews off our back and wrest our destiny back into the
hands of the White Race.

In this category, there is plenty of precedent and the answer is we will use all and every means available to us. We will use the technique of
gentle persuasion where it is most effective, but we will not shrink from using the two by four between the eyes technique either wherever it is
most effective. The point is we will also use a thousand different techniques in between and do whatever it takes. The point is we will use
whatever means is most effective. The goal is so overwhelmingly important that it transcends all other values. That goal is the survival of the
White Race itself. In a matter as overwhelming as this we do not quibble about niceties. As we have already gone on record in both our Bibles -
we state categorically in the matter of life and death of our race - the end justifies the means - any means. We will therefore use any means
that will accrue to the survival and benefit of the White Race. We will not be intimidated, we will not be swerved from our goal, we will not
"water down" our creed, we will never compromise. We have burned our bridges behind us and there is no turning back. With us it is do or die -
and with this attitude we will win - WE ARE BOUND TO WIN.

In conclusion, I repeat what I have already said previously: We will not compromise; we will not be intimidated; we will not be frightened off. We now have the weapons with which to win the war, and we mean to fight on to total victory come hell or high water. All we need is your
unstinting help, support and effort. So do your duty. White Racial Comrades!

INTRODUCTION
A unique and compelling feature of the National Socialist worldview of Adolf Hitler is that, of all the various political movements and ideologies of the modern era, it alone is based solely on the Natural Order. Only National Socialism is grounded in reality, and not in phantasms of the human mind.

National Socialists believe that the universe is governed by natural laws, and that for Man to be happy and successful, he must first acknowledge that these laws exist; secondly, he must discover what they are; and thirdly, he must live in accordance with them. This is another way of saying that the universe runs according to the principles of Causality – that is, of cause-and-effect relationships – and that it does not operate on the basis of supernatural forces, or on the mental constructions and wishful thinking of intellectuals and ideologues, or on the religious fantasies of theologians.

Hitler made this clear from the beginning of his career in public life. Writing in his book Mein Kampf in 1924, he stated:

When Man attempts to rebel against the iron logic of Nature, he comes into struggle with the principles which he himself owes his existence as a man. And so his action against Nature must lead to his own doom... Here we encounter the objection [that] 'Man's role is to overcome Nature!'... But Man has never yet conquered Nature in anything, but at most has caught hold of and tried to lift one corner or another of her immense gigantic veil of eternal riddles and secrets, that in reality he invents nothing but only discovers everything, that he does not dominate Nature, but has only risen on the basis of his knowledge of various laws and secrets to be lord over those other living creatures who lack this knowledge... (Vol. I, Chap. 11, Manheim trans., p. 287)

Man must never fall into the madness of believing that he has risen to be lord and master over Nature – which is so easily induced by the conceit of half-education – but must understand the fundamental necessity of Nature's rule, and realize how much of his existence is subject to these laws of combat and upward struggle. Then he will sense that in a universe where planets revolve around suns, and moons turn around planets, where force alone forever masters weakness, compelling it to be its obedient servant or else crushing it, there can be no special laws for Man. For him, too, the eternal principles of this ultimate wisdom hold sway. He can try to grasp them, but escape them never. (pp. 244-245)

The goal of National Socialism, then, is to consciously organize human society in accordance with the Natural Order. The postwar Danish National-Socialist Povl H. Riis-Knudsen thus defined National Socialism in a single sentence: "National Socialism is the application of the Laws of Nature to human affairs."

The dominant thought-systems of today are uniformly based on the notion of human equality in one form or another: Multiracialism on racial equality; Marxism on economic equality; democracy on political equality; Christianity on spiritual equality. But when Adolf Hitler observed the world of living Nature, he saw that it was not equality, but rather inequality, that was ever-present. To be more precise, he saw that Nature operated according to the principles of structure and hierarchy.

There is structure and hierarchy both among the races of mankind, and also within the races. The hierarchy among the races he denoted as the Principle of Race, and that within each race as the Principle of Personality. He discusses this in depth in Volume II, Chapter 4, of Mein Kampf.

In a speech given in 1928, Hitler gave his own one-sentence definition of the National Socialist worldview: "All life is bound up in three theses: struggle is the father of all things, virtue lies in the blood, and leadership is primary and decisive." Here "blood" symbolizes the Principal of Race and "leadership" the Principle of Personality. "Struggle" is the mechanism by which position in the hierarchy is determined.

The belief that life should be lived in harmony with the Natural Order permeated the whole of Hitler's Germany, from the top to the bottom. It manifested itself not just in the political structure of the National Socialist state, but in every facet of society, including child-rearing, nutrition, forestry, animal rights, medicine and healthcare. The protection of the environment was a top priority. Truly, National Socialism was the original "green" movement!

The SS had a popular motto: "Know the laws of life and live in accordingly." Another SS saying pointed to the spiritual dimensions of the National-Socialist worldview: "The Divine manifests itself in the order of Nature, not in supernatural miracles."

The scientific community enthusiastically supported the restructuring of society in harmony with the Natural Order. On example of this was botanist Ernst Lehmann, who characterized National-Socialism as "politically applied biology." In 1934, only one year into the NS era, he wrote:

We recognize that separating humanity from Nature, from the whole of life, leads to mankind's own destruction and the death of nations. Only through a reintegration of humanity into the whole of Nature can our folk be made stronger. That is the fundamental point of the biological tasks of our age. Mankind alone is no longer the focus of thought, but rather life as a whole... This striving with connectedness, with the totality of life, with Nature itself, a Nature into which we are born, this is the deepest meaning and the true essence of National-Socialist thought. (Biological Will: Way and Goal of Biological Work in the New Reich, pp. 10-11)



It is easy for the unsuspecting or the misinformed to fall victim to the vicious, lying, Hitler-bashing, anti-NS propaganda that is everywhere today. Attempts to discuss the profound and life-giving character of Adolf Hitler's National Socialism often get sidetracked and bogged down in ridiculous and ill-informed debates concerning the conduct of German military operations during the Second World War – as though that subject were more important than our survival as a race!

But one person saw clearly through the miasma of anti-Hitlerism even when it was at its height. The National Socialist philosopher Savitri Devi recognized the magnitude of Adolf Hitler's achievements, and of the unique value of his teachings – not just to the Aryan race, but to all mankind. In her magnum opus The Lightning and the Sun (1958) she wrote:

In its essence, the National Socialist idea exceeds not only Germany and our time, but the Aryan race and mankind itself and any epoch; it ultimately expresses that mysterious and unfailing wisdom according to which Nature lives and creates: the impersonal wisdom of the primeval forests and of the ocean depths and of the spheres in the dark fields of space; and it is to Adolf Hitler's glory not merely to have gone back to that divine wisdom ... but to have made it the basis of a practical regeneration policy of worldwide scope ... (The Lightning and the Sun, pp. 219-220, standard edition; p. 128, Pierce edition)

We live in a civilization and in a society that is about as divorced from the Natural Order as possible. That is why our race is sick. That is why our race is dying. Only by once again living in harmony with the Laws of Nature can we regain our racial health. There is only one movement which offers this salvation, and hence there is only one path to racial survival, that of Adolf Hitler and National Socialism.

A SOCIOBIOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE
Sociobiologists divide the animal world into three broad categories, based on whether or not they live in societies, and if they do, their degree of socialization. Animals which live in societies live in groups characterized by (1) hierarchy, and (2) cooperation. The three categories are:

1. Asocial animals, which either live solitary lives as individuals or else they live in groups without hierarchy or cooperation. Most felines (except for the lion) and orangutans are examples of animals who live as individuals. Schools of fish, flocks of birds and Thompson's gazelle are animals who live in groups that are unstructured and the members of which do not cooperate with each other – basically they are collections of individuals.

2. Eusocial animals (essentially, bees, ants and their relatives) live in communities in which the individual does not exist for practical purposes – only the collective exists.

3. Social animals live in groups known as societies, in which there is hierarchy and cooperation. The individual has rights, but the rights generally subordinate to the welfare of the society. Most higher primates, including all of the great apes except for the orangutan, and most canines, are social animals. Human beings are social animals. We are not bees (for whom only the collective exists) and we are not tigers (for whom only the individual exists).

In human society, the individual has rights, but these must be balanced against the overall welfare of the group. There is inevitably some tension between the group and the individual, but in successful societies this it is managed so that neither suffers unduly.

National Socialist Germany is the modern society that has done this the best. As a social state, it stands in balanced mid-point between the hive-like, eusocial collectivism of communism (in which the individual exists only to serve state, and who has no rights at all), and the rootless, naked egoism of asocial libertarianism (in which the good of the whole is subordinate to the desires and whims of the individual).

This balance between the desires of the individual and the good of the racial community is exemplified in the Hitlerian dictum, "The right to personal freedom recedes before the duty to preserve the race." (Mein Kampf, p. 255). This statement explicitly recognizes that there is a right to personal freedom, but that this right is subordinate to the common racial good.

The word "natural" is only problematic if someone is determined to see it as so. The opposite is "artificial." The wolf is a canine that is the product of natural selection. The Chihuahua is a canine that is product of artificial selection. The society we live in today is an artificial society that is divorced from Nature. To be healthy as a race, we need a society that is structured in accordance with the world of Nature.

THEORY AND PRACTICE
Writing in 1980, the brilliant Australian National Socialist Dr. E.R. Cawthron, B.Sc. (Hons), noted that, "Just to speak in general terms about the laws of Nature serves little purpose." Very true! Let us take a look at a specific natural law and its concrete application in National Socialist Germany.

In the above Introduction, it was noted that Adolf Hitler recognized that inequality, not equality, was the norm in living Nature, and that with regard to Man, this inequality manifested itself both between the races, and within each race.

As a corollary to the law of racial inequality, Hitler also discerned a law concerning "the urge toward racial purity." He wrote:

[M]en without exception wander about in the garden of Nature; they imagine that they know practically everything and yet with few exceptions pass blindly by one of the most patent principles of Nature's rule: the inner segregation of the species of all living beings on this earth...Every animal mates only with an animal of the same species...Only unusual circumstances can change this...(p.284)

He further noted:

The result of all racial crossing is therefore in brief always the...lowering of the level of the higher race. (p.286)

And he offered an example:

Historical experience shows countless proofs of this. It shows with terrifying clarity that in every mingling of Aryan blood with that of lower peoples the result was the end of the cultured people. North America, whose population consists in by far the largest part of Germanic elements who mixed but little with the lower colored peoples, shows a different humanity and culture from Central and South America, where the predominantly Latin immigrants often mixed with the aborigines on a large scale. By this one example, we clearly and distinctly recognize the effect of racial mixture. The Germanic inhabitant of the American continent, who has remained racially pure and unmixed, rose to be the master of the continent; he will remain the master as long as he does not fall victim to defilement of the blood. (p. 286)

Thus we can see the development of Hitler's logic with regard to natural law in this instance:

• He begins by postulating a law or principle that holds true for all of living Nature.
• He further shows how Man is specifically included in this law's jurisdiction.
• Taking the discussion out of the realm of theory, he gives a concrete example of the expression of this law in the real world.

But it does not stop there. On September 15, 1935, Adolf Hitler, as chancellor of the German Reich, signed a law into effect prohibiting race-mixing between "citizens of German or related blood" and Jews. This act was formally titled the "Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor."

Mainstream historians have termed this the "Nuremberg Race Law," and claimed that it was the sinister first step toward the extermination of European Jewry. But it was nothing of the sort.

Rather, it was a preliminary and far-sighted attempt to tentatively codify Natural Law as State Law. Adolf Hitler had begun to restructure German society so as to bring it in accordance with Nature – just as he had advocated a decade earlier in Mein Kampf.

LINCOLN ROCKWELL'S 'LAWS OF THE TRIBE'
George Lincoln Rockwell is the founder of postwar American National Socialism, and one of the foremost disciples of Adolf Hitler's thought of all time. He is remembered primarily as a man of action, which is unsurprising given the dramatic and dynamic course of his life. Yet he was also a man of towering intellect. In addition to numerous essays and articles, he authored two books, This Time the World (1962), his political autobiography, and White Power, which was published posthumously in 1968.

Like Adolf Hitler, Lincoln Rockwell recognized that Man was a part of the Natural Order, and that he was in no meaningful way separate or distinct from it. In Chapter 15 of White Power, entitled "National Socialism," he lists five "Laws of the Tribe" that govern the social organization of all social animals (see Part Two). They are true for wolves as well as for elephants, for dolphins as well as for chimpanzees – and for Man as well. In a human context, by "Tribe" Rockwell means Race or folk or ethnicity.

Here are Rockwell's Five "Laws of the Tribe":

1, The Law of Biological Integrity;
2. The Law of Territory;
3. The Law of Leadership;
4. The Law of Status; and
5. The Law of Motherhood or Family

In White Power, he discusses four of the five principles or laws in some depth. By Biological Integrity, Rockwell means both the instinctive urge to protect the exclusive gene-pool of the tribe, but also the love-hate dichotomy that this generates. He writes:

The two instincts are equally important. Love is not "good" while hate is "evil" — which is the canard so dearly loved by the Jews, liberals, hippies, queers, and half-wits... Love, the natural healthy kind, is indeed what makes the world go round, and it is the most beautiful, holy miracle we ever see here on earth. But without a deadly hate of that which threatens what we love, Love is an empty catchword for hippies, queers, and cowards...

Biological Integrity: absolute, total and uncompromising loyalty to one's own racial group based on a consuming love, and absolute, uncompromising hatred of any outsiders who intrude and threaten to mix their genes with those of the females of the group. (pp. 445-446)

By "Territory" he means in the first instance the land or real estate that the tribe lives on. In National Socialist Germany, the close relationship between Biological Integrity and Territory was encapsulate in the phrase "Blood and Soil." But he also expands this to include the principle of private property. Here Rockwell draws a fundamental dividing line between National Socialism and Jewish, Marxist socialism.

Rockwell specifies "Leadership by the best." By the best, not by the most popular, nor by the wealthiest, and certainly not by those most eager to kiss Jewish posterior.

"Status" he defines as the natural place or rank of each individual within the tribe. Everyone in the tribe is not "equal" to everyone else – but each person has worth and value, and a role to play in society.

Rockwell does not mention Motherhood and Family, beyond including it in his list of Five Laws. He was writing in the mid-1960s, when everyone in White society still had a healthy appreciation of the traditional family. He apparently thought that it was unnecessary to describe it further. Perversions such as homosexual "marriage" were so far over the social horizon that they were not even visible in 1967. One can only imagine what he would have to say about such manifestations of racial decadence and social decline. The traditional family always has been, remains, and always will be the basic social building block of every healthy White society.

Rockwell was not a trained anthropologist, and in listing the Five Laws, he was deeply indebted to Robert Audrey, author of books on this subject such as African Genesis and The Territorial Imperative. But although it was outside the field of his formal knowledge, Rockwell was intelligent enough to recognize the truth when he saw it, and to portray it from a National Socialist perspective.

These Five Laws will someday form the basis for the National Socialist New Order which we, the heirs of Hitler and Rockwell, will build in North America.

When we look back to the time before 1914, we find ourselves living in a world of events which would have been inconceivable before the war. We were even beginning to regard war between civilized nations as a fable, thinking that such an absurdity would become less and less possible on our rational, internationally organized world. And what came after the war was a veritable witches' sabbath. Everywhere fantastic revolutions, violent alterations of the map, reversions in politics to medieval or even antique prototypes, totalitarian states that engulf their neighbours and outdo all previous theocracies in their absolutist claims, persecutions of Christians andJews, wholesale political murder, and finally we have witnessed a light-hearted piratical raid on a peaceful, half-civilized people.

With such goings on in the wide world it is not in the least surprising that there should be equally curious manifestations on a smaller scale in other spheres. In the realm of philosophy we shall have to wait some time before anyone is able to assess the kind of age we are livinging. But in the sphere of religion we can see at once that some very significant things have been happening. We need feel no surprise that in Russia the colourful splendours of the Eastern Orthodox Church have been superseded by theMovement of the Godless — indeed, one breathed a sigh of relief oneself when one emerged from the haze of an Orthodox church with its multitude of lamps and entered an honest mosque, where the sublime and invisible omnipresence of God was not crowded out by a superfluity of sacred paraphernalia. Tasteless and pitiably unintelligent as it is, and however deplorable the low spiritual level of the "scientific" reaction, it was inevitable that nineteenth-century "scientific" enlightenment should one day dawn inRussia.

But what is more than curious — indeed, piquant to a degree — is that an ancient god of storm and frenzy, the long quiescent Wotan,should awake, like an extinct volcano, to new activity, in a civilized country that had long been supposed to have outhrown the Middle Ages. We have seen him come to life in the German Youth Movement, and right at the beginning the blood of several sheep was shed in honour of his resurrection. Armed with rucksack and lute, blond youths, and sometimes girls as well, were to be seen as restless wanderers on every road from the North Cape to Sicily, faithful votaries of the roving god. Later, towards the end of the Weimar Republic, the wandering role was taken over by thousands of unemployed, who were to be met with everywhere on their aimless journeys. By 1933 they wandered no longer, but marched in their hundreds of thousands. The Hitler movement literally brought the whole of Germany to its feet, from five-year-olds to veterans, and produced a spectacle of a nation migrating from one place to another. Wotan the wanderer was on the move. He could be seen, looking rather shamefaced, in the meeting-house of a sect of simple folk in North Germany, disguised as Christ sitting on a white horse. I do not know if these people were aware of Wotan's ancient connection with the figures of Christ and Dionysus, but it is not very probable.

Wotan is a restless wanderer who creates unrest and stirs up strife, now here, now there, and works magic. He was soon changed by Christianity into the devil, and only lived on in fading local traditions as a ghostly hunter who was seen with his retinue, flickering like a will o' the wisp through the stormy night. In the Middle Ages the role of the restless wanderer was taken over by Ahasuerus, the Wandering Jew, which is not a Jewish but a Christian legend. The motif of the wanderer who has not accepted Christ was projected on the Jews, in the same way as we always rediscover our unconscious psychic contents in other people. At any rate the coincidence of anti-Semitism with the reawakening of Wotan is a psychological subtlety that may perhaps be worth mentioning.

The German youths who celebrated the solstice with sheep-sacrifices were not the first to hear the rustling in the primeval forest of the unconsciousness. They were anticipated by Nietzsche, Schuler, StefanGeorge, and Ludwig Klages. The literary tradition of the Rhineland and the country south of the Main has a classical stamp that cannot easily be got rid of; every interpretation of intoxication and exuberance is apt to be taken back to classical models, to Dionysus, to the puer aeternus and the cosmogonic Eros.No doubt it sounds better to academic ears to interpret these things asDionysus, but Wotan might be a more correct interpretation. He is the god of storm and frenzy, the unleasher of passions and the lust of battle; moreover he is a superlative magician and artist in illusion who is versed in all secrets of an occult nature.

Nietzsche's case is certainly a peculiar one. He had no knowledge of Germanic literature; he discovered the "cultural Philistine"; and the announcement that "God is dead" led to Zarathustra's meeting with an unknown god in unexpected form, who approached him sometimes as an enemy and sometimes disguised as Zarathustra himself. Zarathustra, too, was a soothsayer, a magician, and the storm-wind:

And like a wind shall I come to blow among them, and with my spirit shall take away the breath of their spirit; thus my future will sit. Truly, a strong wind is Zarathustra to all that are low; and this counsel gives he to his enemies and to all that spit and spew: "Beware of spitting against the wind."

And when Zarathustra dreamed that he was guardian of the graves in the "lone mountain fortress of death," and was making a mighty effort to open the gates, suddenly

A roaring wind tore the gates asunder; whistling,shrieking, and keening, it cast a black coffin before me. And amid the roaring and whistling and shrieking the coffin burst open and spouted a thousand peals of laughter.

The disciple who interpreted the dream said to Zarathustra:

Are you not yourself the wind with shrill whistling,which bursts open the gates of the fortress of death? Are you not yourself the coffin filled with life's gay malice and angel-grimaces?

In 1863 or 1864, in his poem TO THE UNKNOWN GOD, Nietzsche had written:

I shall and will know thee, Unknown One,

Who searchest out the depths of my soul,

And blowest through my life like a storm,

Ungraspable, and yet my kinsman!

I shall and will know thee, and serve thee.

Twenty years later, in his MISTRAL SONG, he wrote:

Mistral wind, chaser of clouds,

Killer of gloom, sweeper of the skies,

Raging storm-wind, how I love thee!

And we are not both the first-fruits

Of the same womb, forever predestined

To the same fate?

In the dithyramb known as ARIADNE'S LAMENT, Nietzsche is completely the victim of the hunter-god:

Stretched out, shuddering,

Like a half-dead thing whose feet are warmed,

Shaken by unknown fevers,

Shivering with piercing icy frost arrows,

Hunted by thee, O thought,

Unutterable! Veiled! horrible one!

Thou huntsman behind the cloud.

Struck down by thy lightning bolt,

Thou mocking eye that stares at me from the dark!

Thus I lie.

Writhing, twisting, tormented

With all eternal tortures,

Smitten

By thee, cruel huntsman,

Thou unknown — God!

This remarkable image of the hunter-god is not a mere dithyrambic figure of speech but is based on an experience which Nietzsche had when he was fifteen years old, at Pforta. It is described in a book by Nietzsche's sister, Elizabeth Foerster-Nietzsche. As he was wandering about in a gloomy wood at night, he was terrified by a "blood-curdling shriek from a neighbouring lunatic asylum," and soon afterwards he came face to face with a huntsman whose "features were wild and uncanny." Setting his whistle to his lips "in a valley surrounded by wild scrub," the huntsman "blew such a shrill blast" that Nietzsche lost consciousness —but woke up again in Pforta. It was a nightmare. It is significant that in his dream Nietzsche, who in reality intended to go to Eisleben, Luther's town, discussed with the huntsman the question of going instead to"Teutschenthal" (Valley of the Germans). No one with ears can misunderstand the shrill whistling of the storm-god in the nocturnal wood.

Was it really only the classical philologist in Nietzsche that led to the god being called Dionysus instead of Wotan — or was it perhaps due to his fateful meeting with Wagner?

In his REICH OHNE RAUM, which was first published in1919, Bruno Goetz saw the secret of coming events in Germany in the form of avery strange vision. I have never forgotten this little book, for it struck meat the time as a forecast of the German weather. It anticipates the conflict between the realm of ideas and life, between Wotan's dual nature as a god of storm and a god of secret musings. Wotan disappeared when his oaks fell and appeared again when the Christian God proved too weak to save Christendom from fratricidal slaughter. When the Holy Father at Rome could only impotently lament before God the fate of the grex segregatus, the one-eyed old hunter, on the edge of the German forest, laughed and saddled Sleipnir.

We are always convinced that the modern world is a reasonable world, basing our opinion on economic, political, and psychological factors. But if we may forget for a moment that we are living in the year of Our Lord 1936, and, laying aside our well-meaning, all-too-human reasonableness, may burden God or the gods with the responsibility for contemporary events instead of man, we would find Wotan quite suitable as a casual hypothesis. In fact, I venture the heretical suggestion that the unfathomable depths of Wotan's character explain more of National Socialism than all three reasonable factors put together. There is no doubt that each of these factors explains an important aspect of what is going on in Germany, but Wotan explains yet more.He is particularly enlightening in regard to a general phenomenon which is so strange to anybody not a German that it remains incomprehensible, even after the deepest reflection.

Perhaps we may sum up this general phenomenon as Ergriffenheit — a state of being seized or possessed. The term postulates not only an Ergriffener (one who is seized) but, also, an Ergreifer (one who seizes). Wotan is an Ergreifer of men, and, unless one wishes to deify Hitler– which has indeed actually happened — he is really the only explanation. It is true that Wotan shares this quality with his cousin Dionysus, but Dionysus seems to have exercised his influence mainly on women. The maenads were a species of female storm-troopers, and, according to mythical reports, were dangerous enough. Wotan confined himself to the berserkers, who found their vocation as the Blackshirts of mythical kings.

A mind that is still childish thinks of the gods as metaphysical entities existing in their own right, or else regards them as playful or superstitious inventions. From either point of view the parallel between Wotan redivivus and the social, political and psychic storm that is shaking Germany might have at least the value of a parable. But since the gods are without doubt personifications of psychic forces, to assert their metaphysical existence is as much an intellectual presumption as the opinion that they could ever be invented. Not that "psychic forces" have anything to do with the conscious mind, fond as we are of playing with the idea that consciousness and psyche are identical. This is only another piece of intellectual presumption. "Psychic forces" have far more to do with the realm of the unconscious. Our mania for rational explanations obviously has its roots in our fear of metaphysics, for the two were always hostile brothers. Hence,anything unexpected that approaches us from the dark realm is regarded either as coming from outside and, therefore, as real, or else as an hallucination and, therefore, not true. The idea that anything could be real or true which does not come from outside has hardly begun to dawn on contemporary man.

For the sake of better understanding and to avoid prejudice, we could of course dispense with the name "Wotan" and speak instead of the furor teutonicus. But we should only be saying the same thing and not as well, for the furor in this case is a mere psychologizing of Wotan and tells us no more than that the Germans are in a state of"fury." We thus lose sight of the most peculiar feature of this whole phenomenon, namely, the dramatic aspect of the Ergreifer and the Ergriffener. The impressive thing about the German phenomenon is that one man, who is obviously "possessed," has infected a whole nation to such an extent that everything is set in motion and has started rolling on its course towards perdition.

It seems to me that Wotan hits the mark as an hypothesis. Apparently he really was only asleep in the Kyffhauser mountain until the ravens called him and announced the break of day. He is a fundamental attribute of the German psyche, an irrational psychic factor which acts on the high pressure of civilization like a cyclone and blows it away. Despite their crankiness, the Wotan-worshippers seem to have judged things more correctly than the worshippers of reason. Apparently everyone had forgotten that Wotan isa Germanic datum of first importance, the truest expression and unsurpassed personification of a fundamental quality that is particularly characteristic of the Germans. Houston Stewart Chamberlain is a symptom which arouses suspicion that other veiled gods may be sleeping elsewhere. The emphasis on the Germanic race — commonly called "Aryan" — the Germanic heritage, blood and soil, the Wagalaweia songs, the ride of the Valkyries, Jesus as a blond and blue-eyed hero, the Greek mother of St Paul, the devil as an international Alberich in Jewish or Masonic guise, the Nordic aurora borealis as the light of civilization, the inferior Mediterranean races — all this is the indispensable scenery for the drama that is taking place and at the bottom they all mean the same thing: a god has taken possession of the Germans and their house is filled with a "mighty rushing wind." It was soon after Hitler seized power,if I am not mistaken, that a cartoon appeared in PUNCH of a raving berserker tearing himself free from his bonds. A hurricane has broken loose in Germany while we still believe it is fine weather.

Things are comparatively quiet in Switzerland, though occasionally there is a puff of wind from the north or south. Sometimes it has a slightly ominous sound, sometimes it whispers so harmlessly or even idealistically that no one is alarmed. "Let the sleeping dogs lie" — we manage to get along pretty well with this proverbial wisdom. It is sometimes said that the Swiss are singularly averse to making a problem of themselves. I must rebut this accusation: the Swiss do have their problems, but they would not admit it for anything in the world, even though they see which way the wind is blowing. We thus pay our tribute to the time of storm and stress in Germany, but we never mention it, and this enables us to feel vastly superior.

It is above all the Germans who have an opportunity,perhaps unique in history, to look into their own hearts and to learn what those perils of the soul were from which Christianity tried to rescue mankind.Germany is a land of spiritual catastrophes, where nature never makes more than a pretence of peace with the world-ruling reason. The disturber of the peace isa wind that blows into Europe from Asia's vastness, sweeping in on a wide front from Thrace to the Baltic, scattering the nations before it like dry leaves. or inspiring thoughts that shake the world to its foundations. It is an elementalDionysus breaking into the Apollonian order. The rouser of this tempest is named Wotan, and we can learn a good deal about him from the political confusion and spiritual upheaval he has caused throughout history. For a more exact investigation of his character, however, we must go back to the age of myths, which did not explain everything in terms of man and his limited capacities, but sought the deeper cause in the psyche and its autonomous powers. Man's earliest intuitions personified these powers. Man's earliest intuitions personified these powers as gods, and described them in the myths with great care and circumstantiality according to their various characters.This could be done the more readily on account of the firmly established primordial types or images which are innate in the unconscious of many races and exercise a direct influence upon them. Because the behaviour of a race takes on its specific character from its underlying images, we can speak of an archetype "Wotan." As an autonomous psychic factor, Wotan produceseffects in the collective life of a people and thereby reveals his own nature.For Wotan has a peculiar biology of his own, quite apart from the nature of man. It is only from time to time that individuals fall under the irresistible influence of this unconscious factor. When it is quiescent, one is no more aware of the archetype Wotan than of a latent epilepsy. Could the Germans who were adults in 1914 have foreseen what they would be today? Such amazing transformations are the effect of the god of wind, that "bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, nor whither it goeth." It seizes everything in its path and overthrows everything that is not firmly rooted. When the wind blows it shakes everything that is insecure, whether without or within.

Martin Ninck has recently published a monograph whichis a most welcome addition to our knowledge of Wotan's nature. The reader neednot fear that this book is nothing but a scientific study written with academic aloofness from the subject. Certainly the right to scientific objectivity is fully preserved, and the material has been collected with extraordinary thoroughness and presented in unusually clear form. But, over and above all this, one feels that the author is vitally interested in it, that the chord ofWotan is vibrating in him, too. This is no criticism — on the contrary, it is one of the chief merits of the book, which without this enthusiasm might easily have degenerated into a tedious catalogue. Ninck sketches a really magnificent portrait of the German archetype Wotan. Ninck rightly points out that Dionysus and the otherGreek gods always remained under the supreme authority of Zeus, which indicates a fundamental difference between the Greek and the Germanic temperament. Ninck assumes an inner affinity between Wotan and Kronus, and the latter's defeat may perhaps be a sign that the Wotan-archetype was once overcome and split up in prehistoric times. At all events, the Germanic god represents a totality on avery primitive level, a psychological condition in which man's will was almost identical with the god's and entirely at his mercy. But the Greeks had gods who helped man against other gods; indeed, All-Father Zeus himself is not far from the ideal of a benevolent, enlightened despot.

Political events move from one impasse to the next, like a torrent caught in gullies, creeks and marshes. All human control comes to an end when the individual is caught in a mass movement. Then, the archetypes begin to function, as happens, also, in the lives of individuals when they are confronted with situations that cannot be dealt with in any of the familiar ways. But what a so-called Fuhrer does with a mass movement can plainly be seen if we turn our eyes to the north or south of our country.

One cannot read Hauer's book without emotion, if one regards it as the tragic and really heroic effort of a conscientious scholar who, without knowing how it happened to him, was violently summoned by the inaudible voice of the Ergreifer and is now trying with all his might, and with all his knowledge and ability, to build a bridge between the dark forces of life and the shining world of historical ideas. But what do all the beauties of the past from totally different levels of culture mean to the man of today,when confronted with a living and unfathomable tribal god such as he has never experienced before? A blind person can see multiculturalism is a failure. As sweet as it might sound, that Little Joey and Little Tyrone can play nice together, it's a farce. The 'Monotheistic' conception of 'God' that we are familiar with through the Jewish Tradition (which has been forced on us), is an immature and degenerate conception of 'God'.

Typically Spiritual Semites hold themselves as the apex of theological development.

The reality is quite the opposite - Jewish Monotheism was a degenerate revolt against a higher - though already degenerated in its own way - understanding of the Divine.

Rather the ancient Jews came from somewhere too.

The origins of Judaism goes back to the pantheon of the proto-Semetic Tribes of Caanan.

In this pantheon we have the god 'El' who was the supreme god of the Canaanites. El was the father of all of the other gods in the pantheon (the Elohim. the Sons of El) - among them was Yahweh, the Storm God.

El Elyon (El the Most High) had married himself to Beruth (The god of the city of Beirut) which mythically resulted in the birth of Uranus and Ge (Heaven and Earth).

"In the beginning Elohim created the Heavens and the Earth." Genesis 1:1 (Notice that Elohim is read here as plural 'gods', which corresponds to later 'Let us make man in our image'...yet this it is recklessly translated as just "God").

In Deuteronomy 32:8 we find

"When El Elyon (El the Most High) gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated humanity, he fixed the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of divine beings (The Sons of El). For Yahweh's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage."

By now you should be seeing quite clearly that ancient Judaism came from a polytheistic pantheon, of which El was the Most High, and Yahweh, the Storm God, was the National God of Jacob (Israel).

Yahweh introduced himself to Jacob in Genesis 35:11 as El Shaddai (which is 'God the Strong/Plunderer/Destroyer'...this is using 'El' in a general way... El Shaddai was not claiming to be El.)

"I am El Shaddai: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins."

Yahweh was known to Jacob, Abraham, and Isaac by this name.

During this time, the ancient Jews were Monolatristic (belief in many Gods, but worship of only one...the second Commandment shows this well.

"Thou shalt have no other Elohim (Sons of El) before me".

It wasn't until King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon destroyed the First Temple and enslaved the Jews that the Jews began to become strictly Monotheist.

During their captivity, the Babylonian Empire was conquered by Cyrus the Great (Persia) and the Jews began to take certain aspects of the Zoroastrian Tradition, fusing them to their Cult of Yahweh.

At this point, Yahweh had begun a process of syncretizing and appropriating aspects from the other Gods of the Caanite pantheon and bringing them into a monotheistic cult, declaring ONLY YAHWEH to be the one God.

This is the birth of Second Temple Judaism.

Also during this time, the Canaanites had began to worship Ba'al as the chief deity (similar to how Odin supplanted Tyr, the pantheon wasn't stagnant).

Thus we see the strict antagonism between the Canaanites and the Israelites and the demonization of Ba'al (who is just a Agricultural God LOL)

During this time, the Torah was re-interpreted in this monotheistic sense (thus El, Elohim, El Shaddai, etc are just impersonal names of the revealed name of God, Yahweh).

As the ancient Jews slaughtered their Canaanite neighbors...

"And Israel vowed a vow to the Lord and said, "If you will indeed give this people into my hand, then I will devote their cities to destruction." And the Lord heeded the voice of Israel and gave over the Canaanites, and they devoted them and their cities to destruction." Numbers 21 2-3

...they eventually came to be a very disliked people. This cemented the ethnic solidarity of their Cult.

Soon the military fortunes of Israel ceased, and the Jews saw the defeat to be punishment by Yahweh for their "Sins".

They then became Messianic, that Yahweh would send a Hero to restore Israel to power and glory.

...this didn't happen.

The Slave Morality (as they were a Priestly People) really began to set in, and they began to see themselves as the oppressed martyrs of Yahweh. Weak yet blessed. Oppressed yet the Chosen Ones. They awaited a degenerated Messiah - a Savior.

A sacrificial victim, the persecuted one, the hope of the despondent.

During the time of Yeshua (Jesus), Rome had conquered the Jews...the Jews were desperate for the promised Messiah to save them. Yahweh would liberate them from the yolk of Rome!

Yeshua was seen to be this Messiah by the Nazarenes (A Messianic Sect of Judaism).

Tertullus (the lawyer that the Jews hired to state their case against the Apostle Paul declared the following in regards to the Nazarenes...aka Christianis in Acts 24 1-9.

First, that he {Paul} created disturbances among the Romans throughout the empire, an offense against the Roman government (crimen majestatis). Secondly, that he was a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes; disturbed the Jews in the exercise of their religion, guaranteed by the state; introduced new gods, a thing prohibited by the Romans. And thirdly, that he attempted to profane the temple, a crime which the Jews were permitted to punish.

Now...do not be mistaken. This Messianic Cult was not the only one.

Simon Bar Kochba, as an example, led a revolt against Rome and established a Jewish State, was endorsed by Rabbi Akiba to be the Messiah in 132 AD...but the Nazarenes refused to see anyone but Yeshua as the Messiah.

But of course...Yeshua did not save the Jewish People from Rome - he was not a Warrior Messiah as Kochba was...rather, he was the Messiah of the dispossessed.

This began the conflict between the emerging Christianity and Judaism.

Now, we know that Yeshua only preached to the Jews: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 and Matthew 10: 5-6 "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

But with the Apostle Paul, Christianity loses its Jew-Centric Flavor: "The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." - Romans 1:16

Thus the poor, meek, weak, urchins of humanity started gravitating towards Christianity.

Ah, those mean, strong, rich, noble, powerful, virtuous Romans are now arrogant, prideful, lustful, and EVIL.

Rome was disgusted at the Christians, but they tolerated them insofar as they acknowledged the spiritual authority of Caesar.

But alas; Christianity deemed that ONLY Yeshua could be Priest and King, and that Caesar was merely a tyrant.

So Caesar threw the Christians to the Lions.

As decades passed; the aristocratic Roman State Religion (already in decline, but being rejuvenated with the Cult of Mithras) was being rejected by the unwashed masses in favor of the peasant-religion of Christianity.

In order to prevent political insurrection, and to appropriate the rising Christianity, Emperor Constantine 'converted' to Christianity.

The Christians then unleashed havoc on the Empire; destroying the old 'Pagan' idols in the name of Yahweh and Yeshua. Finally, they have been delivered from the yoke of Rome! The Old Roman Religion was persecuted - and religious wars of conversion began throughout all of Europe.

The 'Pagans' (otherwise translated as rural people, or country-bumpkins) were those people outside of the city, who retained the religion of their ancestors. The Aryan Religion.

As Christianity conquered North, Christianity became infused with Aryan myth and Tradition, giving birth to such things as Chivalry, Knightly Orders, 'Crusades', the Holy Grail and all of those things that Christians seem to love about "Christianity".

The high-mark of this Germanic Christendom was the Holy Roman Empire of the Ghibelline Tradition, which affirmed the Emperor as both Priest and King. The Guelph Papacy rejected this, stating only Christ was King.

3. Our ancient Myths give a symbolic understandings of the metaphysical truths of the world, they were not grossly literal and materialistic like the Bible.

4. Instead of profane 'faith', our ancient spirituality was defined by 'experience' and thus learned-knowledge of the divine.

Do not stand by and allow an Abrahamist lecture you on the immaturity of your Ancestral Religion and the enlightenment that the Jews brought to the world.

Abrahamic Religion is like Communism to Monarchy - inferior in every way.
