WTF is this, Lebanon? It's supposed to be South Australia and I've just done two days without power/electricity. I'm going to have to see about getting a battery backup system. Something that can at least run my modem and phones - and then my computer for as long as I choose or need.
I spent the time either with a torch or sitting in the back yard under my pergola in the rain reading the printed version of TTT.

Last time there was no gas, no water and no mobile phone coverage. That experience taught me that this one was just local. It's also why I stock up on tinned and dried food, gas cylinders and water.
