Just passing this along but apparently the "god" of christianity and the jews "Yahweh" started off as a storm god, then blended with a warrior god.
The "allah" of the muslims is suspected of starting off as a lunar deity and eventually turning into a rain god.
Literal advances of weather worship going on.
