The premise of Ancient Apocalypse is that during the last ice age - just past 11K years ago - there was a civilisation that existed. Historians, palaeontologists and scientists do not want you to know about this ancient civilisation and the resulting apocalypse, because it conflicts with their idea of what it is to be human and civilised. According to the myriad mythology of the various mud races, they were each brought technology, advancement and civilisation by mysterious White Men from the ocean at the end of the last great ice age, after a great flood, 11K years ago.
