Bullshit. This is not the first time that Thought-Crime have been introduced into UK legislation. Hate-Crime law is Thought-Crime law. Under Hate-Crime law, you are arrested or charges are enhanced based on what the authorities believe to have been going through your mind at the time of the incident. Furthermore, this version of Thought-Crime law is not confined to the UK, or England or to Scotland as each jurisdiction has enabled variations on the same laws, and so has the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Countries with laws that all derive from the same British source, and continue to influence one another today.
