Jerusalem Day: A national day of mourning May 10th, 2021
The 'Wailing Wall' was built not by Jews, but by Herod who was an Arab. Some have claimed that the huge stones were originally cut out by the Romans who were (unlike the Jews) architects Jerusalem Day is a national day of mourning. It's the day when Israeli society marks the conquest of East Jerusalem. Not its liberation. Not its unification with the western part of the city. Not its freedom.
Somehow this doesn't look like real wailing, but more like something rehearsed The Palestinians living in Silwan, Sheikh Jarrah and Shoafat did not go from slavery to freedom at the end of the Six-Day War. They, along with all of East Jerusalem, were conquered. Yes, that's the truth:
