On the Today show this morning, Josh Frydenberg attacked Senator Anning's "extremely ignorant words" — calling them "hurtful, divisive and unacceptable".

"Fraser Anning should not only retract his comments last night but he should also immediately go and visit a holocaust museum and hear first hand from survivors how raw the pain is and hear about and see the destruction and devastation caused by the Nazi killing machine," he said.

"Ten million people lost their lives to the Nazis, six million of whom were Jews, 1.5 million of whom were children. Fraser Anning is a father. You can't utter those words in the Parliament without understanding the consequences and ramifications."

Labor Senate leader Penny Wong today said the speech "did not reflect who we are, did not reflect the strong, proud multicultural country that we are, a country that has been built by people from all over the world".

"And it did not reflect Australian values," she told reporters. "It reflected a time we have moved on from and it reflected division and prejudice.

"It was not a speech of which he can be proud, it was not a speech that was worthy of the Parliament of Australia."

Greens leader Richard Di Natale said the Senator's comments were "absolutely beyond the pale".

"If he has a shred of decency, he will immediately apologise," he said. "Referring to immigrants, particularly Muslim immigrants, with the same language that the Nazis used to discuss the extermination of Europe's Jews during the Holocaust is vile, racist, bigoted and has no place in our society, let alone our Parliament."

Labor frontbencher Chris Bowen said the use of the term 'final solution", which has been historically associated with the Nazi plan in World War II for killing millions of Jews, was "utterly unacceptable".

"You don't use that term. That is an unacceptable use of the term," he told ABC Radio on Tuesday.

"It has connotations and meanings to history which it are deeply offensive to right-thinking people, not only in Australia but across the world."

Senator Anning also said Australia was entitled to insist migrants were predominantly of the "historic European Christian composition". "Ethno-cultural diversity — which is known to undermine social cohesion — has been allowed to rise to dangerous levels in many suburbs," the Queensland senator said.

"In direct response, self-segregation, including white flight from poorer inner- urban areas, has become the norm." Senator Anning called for a cultural counter-revolution to restore traditional values and redefine national identity.

He said anyone persuaded to advocate the "false claim" there was an infinite number of genders had surrendered their political soul.

"To describe the so-called safe schools and gender fluidity garbage being peddled in schools as cultural Marxism is not a throwaway line, but a literal truth," Senator Anning said.

The 68-year-old outlined plans to boost agriculture through re-establishing rural state banks and re-establishment of marketing of farm goods through grower co-operatives.

Other issues he noted were countering the growing threat of China, slashing government spending, building coal-fired power plants and taking back culture from left-wing extremists.

Senator Anning said Joh Bjelke-Petersen's reign as Queensland premier was the state's "golden age

All "Turnbull" says is " Australia is the most successful multicultural nation in the world,we condem racism in all forms.".
Deep down he knows there are problems. He knows Africans are a problem and says " You'd have to be walking around with hands over your ears not to know about their concerns".

Tony Abbot was good with all this he said "No good focusing on getting immigrants that are tough to assymilate".

Good on the new Senator! Now let's have some action here! Stop the mud third worlders. Get us done more Europeans! Discriminate against Muslims.

He only said what he did because he's Christinsane. Further: He's a politician and we would not trust him to not take the opportunity to flash our offer like a free Get Out of Jail Card as he shouted RACIST! and pointed the finger at us. He'd probably prefer Islam's stinky brown spook to our no spooks at all rule.

In the wake of Senator for Queensland Fraser Anning's referring to a plebiscite on Muslim immigration as a 'final solution' Muslim football stars are looking to bitch at the MCG.

JOHN Oliver is renowned for his take-down comedy.

So when Fraser Anning's controversial maiden speech went viral last week, it was only a matter of time before the British TV host weighed in on it.

On his show Last Week Tonight, Oliver roasted Australia over Anning's invoking Nazi Germany in his speech.

"Australian politics this week saw a debut speech in parliament this week that will live long in the memory," he said. "In a speech arguing in favour of a return to a White Australia policy, Anning suggested having a popular vote would be 'the final solution to the immigration problem'.

"That is just not a phrase that you want to throw around for pretty obvious reason," the comedian went on. "It's the same reason we don't name babies Adolf anymore, or have tiny moustaches, or call yoga retreats concentration camps. We could — it'd make sense — but people would be understandably upset.

But it was the response of Bob Katter — the head of Anning's party — that really got Oliver fired up.

He replayed various clips of Katter, starting with his immediate response to the speech.

In an interview with reporters that was played on Oliver's show, Katter said the speech was "everything his country should be doing".

"I support everything he said — 1000 per cent," Katter said. "It was a magnificent speech. It was solid gold."

He also claimed the senator had "absolutely no idea" the term was used in Nazi Germany.

"He didn't get to a university to know the significance of all these words," Katter said. "He's smart, but he hasn't read all the history books. He doesn't know what any of this means. And nor will he spend any time finding out."

On this, Oliver said: "First, the speech was not solid gold, and I really hope in Australia you don't have to have gone to university to have heard about the Holocaust.

"If there's no responsibility for the words you use? He doesn't even know what they mean.

"If you give 1000 monkeys 1000 typewriters and one of them wrote "heil Hitler", would you get all angry with him? No, you'd be impressed, that's a 'solid gold' monkey right there."

"Underneath his eccentric personality is the heart of a truly unpleasant human being," the comedian added

Senator Fraser Anning has been expelled from the Katter's Australian Party (KAP) due to his views on immigration and race.

Key points:

Fraser Anning joined KAP after leaving One Nation to be an an independent
He was heavily criticised for using the term "final solution" in his maiden speech
Bob Katter said Senator Anning's recent moves calling for a plebiscite on whether to ban non-European migration were a bridge too far
The Queensland senator's time in Federal Parliament has been tumultuous, with him leaving One Nation just hours before being sworn in to the Upper House after a spat with leader Pauline Hanson.

He joined KAP after a short stint as an independent and was criticised for using the term "final solution" during his first speech on migration.

At the time, KAP leader Bob Katter strongly supported Senator Anning's speech, describing it as "solid gold".

But today, Mr Katter said the party's executive decided only "99 per cent" of it was solid gold, and that the rest was "totally unacceptable".

Mr Katter said he had repeatedly warned Senator Anning not to use racially charged language or call for a European immigration program.

"Clearly that is racist," Mr Katter said.

"This position was made perfectly clear again following a bill that Senator Anning had drafted."

Senator Anning last week sought to introduce a bill for a plebiscite on non-European migration to Australia, "to give the people a say on who comes to this country".

"We've had a plebiscite on same-sex marriage. This is a far more important issue, and it's one the Australian people, I'm sure, would like to have a say in," Senator Anning told reporters last week.

Senator Anning said his plebiscite would also ask whether "Muslim immigration" should be stopped.

He denied this was bigoted, saying it was not "bigoted at all to give Australians a say in who comes here".

Mr Katter today said he would have voted against the bill if it ever came to Parliament.

"He was unequivocally informed that when the party learned of this bill that there would be extreme hostility if the bill went forward using racial identification terminology," Mr Katter said.

"We have championed the cause of the Sikhs, I've moved legislation in here on behalf of the Sikhs, we've championed the cause of legislation for the Jewish people.

"We've championed the cause, and I will often speak as a First Australian, I identify very strongly as a First Australian.

This Bob Katter sounds like a "turncoat". I hope Mr Anning joins Australia first. They understand him.
