Title: What Are You Reading?
Post by: ScotiasChild on Fri 25 Mar 2016
Every so often I like to challenge myself and read a classic book. Right now I am reading "MacBeth".

I can't read fiction any more. To me it just seems too contrived. It's annoying because I used to really enjoy reading and spent more time at the public library each week picking out a pile of books to keep me occupied than I spent shopping for food. ... That's life.

About 25 years ago I read Nigel Trantor's version of Macbeth. It's not a take on Shakespeare's Macbeth, but rather his own work based on known facts: Historical fiction. Shakespeare's is closer to English anti-Scots propaganda.

I do however enjoy The Royal Shakespeare Company's version of Hamlet, with Patrick Stewart and everybody else that ever worked at the BBC between 1973 and 83.

Mein Kampf - yes I need to put that on my list. I have copies of White Power and This Time The World by George Lincoln Rockwell too. I hope to get to them soon.

As I have said before, this translation is one that we Creators, through the works of Creativity's founder, Ben Klassen, were given an opportunity to assist with.
