Title: The 1st Church - Lighthouse Point Florida
Post by: Jim on Thu 11 Mar 2010
I am living in Pompano Beach FL.  I was reading the the 1st  Church of the Creator was in Lighthouse Point FL.   It all in Broward county.  Lighthouse Point is a few blocks down from me.  Do everyone have pics or an address of it ???, I would love to check it out.  Thanks for any help

In the first print of the WMB, the P.O. Box is given as 5908, Lighthouse Point, Fla. 33064.

Perhaps you can obtain that Post Office Box for yourself?

Brother,

The only church building was in Otto, NC where it still stands, albeit vacant and not in Creative possession. In the early days when Beloved Founder resided in Florida, there was no Church building nor even a meeting house of any sort. Beloved Founder recognized that he had a "mail order" ministry and sought to change that by building the actual Church in North Carolina.
Still, if you find Beloved Founder's residence in Pompano Beach (or any information about the early congregation), I would very much like to hear about it.

Beloved Founder was a Florida state legislator in the late 1960's (CE). He should have an address listed for his residence at the time. Beloved Founder was also big in Florida real estate so it may be challenging to find where he actually resided and not just owned property. I'd start with newspaper or state government archives. he didn't last long in those circles because he was already developing what would become our religion of Creativity. This of course didn't sit well with the mechanised US governmental fondness for israel and the jews.

Then you will just have to claim that PO Box number as your own. You'll need one one day, why not PME Klassen's own?

I went bye today and the lady told me that that box was not available now, but told me to check back later it may come open.  It is 60 dollars a year for it.  Not too bad.  I will keep trying once a month or so.   :'(  ;D

In "milestone 33" of  "Against the Evil Tide" -Ben Klassen says they decided on a waterfront lot on 26th street in Lighthouse point. I had a look on google Earth street view and it looks kinda nice. They say the house had the shape of a "H" with a swimming pool, and there is one like that. he then says they had another property at 31st court.

I had to move back to South Carolina about six months ago. Yes Lighthouse Point is rich - very rich. I did live off 33th st. Its hard to live down there. That's one other reason we moved from there. We have lost that part of the country. MUDs are EVERYWHERE there.
