PAST generations of Australians welcomed refugees with open arms and the nation is richer for it, a pro-asylum seeker rally in Melbourne has heard. 
 
SEVERAL hundred people braved the rain for the Walk Together march through the city's CBD and, notably, past the Greek and Little Chinatown food districts.

"We didn't always keep people in legal limbo for many years after fleeing war and fleeing death," federal Greens MP Adam Bandt told the crowd after it gathered at Federation Square.
"When we treat boat people like people, we are all better off."
Mr Bandt said Australia needed to remember the compassion of the past, including under Liberal prime minister Malcolm Fraser, when the nation extended open arms to refugees and "not a closed fist".

Federal Labor MP Andrew Giles said there were almost 60 million displaced people in the world and Australia had to "face up to our responsibilities as a rich and free nation".


"The politics of asylum (seekers) haven't done much for Australia, haven't done much for the sort of country I want to live in, over the past 14 years," Mr Giles said.
The marchers carried signs that read "Common people, common dreams" and "We are all people we are all equal".
Kate Milton, from Healesville, joined the march with her three young children and husband.
"We just believe that everybody is welcome here in Australia," she said.

At 22:45 the cowardly police command ordered police  "not to approach convoys of men of Middle Eastern appearance" however car details and registration details were to be recorded.

A local of Maroubra reported that each of the cars that arrived was "full, you know had four passengers." The convoy was reportedly armed with bars and bats, knives, machetes and guns. The group assaulted several people, knocking one unconscious and threatening another with rape, and damaged between 60 and 100 cars, setting at least one on fire.

Police in riot gear moved to contain the violence and the crowds responded by throwing bricks and glass. Residents reported that in some streets "every car" had had their windows smashed, with glass covering the streets. Police also confiscated 40 iron bars and arrested 14 people.

A 26-year–old mechanic dubbed "Dan" was stabbed in the back three times and twice in the thigh with a 9.8 centimetre blade. The incident occurred outside Woolooware golf club when two cars carrying a group of males "described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance" approached the man and his friends. Dan and his friends attempted to flee from the group who were shouting "Get the Aussie dogs ... get the Aussie sluts", Dan was knocked to the ground and was repeatedly kicked in the head. The attack ended when the 9.8 centimetre knife snapped off in the victim's back. He was taken to hospital in a serious condition as the blade had narrowly missed his spine and lungs.

Jake Schofield was attacked by a group of four men of "Middle Eastern appearance", the men beat Schofield repeatedly, stabbing him twice and hitting him with a piece of concrete before stealing his wallet and keys. The attack left him with a fractured eye socket and fractured nose.

How did the print media portray it? All the emphasis was on the "racist" attacks by Australians.

Whether to place a ban on Wilders to keep him from entering the country or not may be considered unimportant to most people, but it was seriously considered at the highest levels of government whether or not he should be banned merely to placate the Muslim and Libtard minorities. Radical Muslim group hold conference

RADICAL Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir have accused the federal government of criminalising the Muslim community through its anti-terror laws.
THE hardline group will on Sunday hold a conference in Sydney's south west titled Innocent Until Proven Muslim, with numerous speakers and testimonies from people who say they have been affected by government intervention.

****Rules for the day of the rally****
We ALL need to be on our best behaviour. We don't want to give the media ANY ammunition to paint us as anything but concerned Australian citizens.
We DO want to show that we are ordinary Australians who have our eyes open about what REALLY happens when followers of Islam grow numbers in ANY country and the rules they subsequently FORCE onto that country.

RALLY PARTICIPANT RULES
We do NOT want this rally to turn violent like the Islamic rally a few years ago in Sydney. We DO want to show that we are better than that.
The 9 rules below WILL be enforced, no questions asked.
1) No Neo-Nazi or White Supremacist Clothing/Banners/Placards/Slogans (No exceptions)
2) No Racist, Abusive or Offensive behaviour.
3) No fighting or threatening behaviour.
4) No Glass containers (including drink bottles)
5) No Weapons of any kind.(No exceptions)
6) No Alcohol (No exceptions)
7) Obey any directions/instructions given by the Police or rally organisers
Anyone who breaks ANY of the above rules will be asked to leave by rally organisers or removed by the police.
Placard/Banner requirements

Discussions were held with the Police who advised of a few simple rules to ensure things go off without a hitch as far as slogans and banners are concerned.
1) No Rude Offensive Slogans/Banners
2) No Threatening Slogans/Banners
3) Poles for banners are to be no longer than 1 metre in length
4) 20 mm diameter hollow PVC conduit is preferred
5) If using timber, nothing larger than 20mm x 10mm
6) No Metal poles (no exceptions)
7) No defacing of flags or depictions of defacing of flags
8 ) No ISIS flags (that includes depictions of ISIS flags being defaced or burnt etc)
These are fairly simple requirements, so if we all obey them, we won't fall foul of the law.
OFFENSIVE, ABUSIVE OR THREATENING BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

While it is Reclaim Australia's show we will comply with their rules, we must ask about the police orders that there be no defacing or burning of flags. Is Australia a nation where the only flag allowed to be defaced and burned with impunity is the Australian national flag?

Nevertheless, as per usual, I will attend and stand with those that are opposed to the Islamic domination of Australia (even though I do not approve of their advocation of a continuation of Multiculturalism minus Islam). Again, as per usual, I will not join in their chants, I will not scream "NAZI!" at the opposing Marxists and Christinsane loonies, and I will continue to refuse to tolerate any foreign Israeli flags in my presence.
