Diana Day, 55, who has knee problems attempted to get Kevin Rudd's attention as he left the clinic following a visit this morning.

Mr Rudd shook hands with Ms Day but then did not take her question.

Disabled Ms Day ignored because she has the temerity to ask a question about Equal Rights for Whites

"Prime Minister, excuse me Prime Minister,'' Ms Day tried at Mr Rudd.

But the PM just kept walking and didn't take Ms Day's question.

"I wanted to know if he gets back in if white Australians will be treated the same as Aboriginal people," Ms Day told the media after her apparent snub.

"I'm not Aboriginal and I don't get the same assistance with my disability."

Ms Day said Mr Rudd ignored her and was "very rude".

Her husband, Ross, said the pair had asked the government if they could get assistance for an automatic stair lift in their home and were told "you'd get more help if you were indigenous".



I saw the fiend in the flesh today at the Markets  , god job for his sake the cops were there to help him out he got swamped by Neuclear protesters and then basicly ignored people at the super GP clinic . Check out the link for some of the footage.

CHIEF Minister Adam Giles has defended his Aboriginality, after his grandmother announced that comments about her heritage in his maiden Parliament speech were "rubbish".
Mr Giles told Parliament in 2008 that his grandmother Lois Rutley was "a Gamila- roi woman born in the Pil- liga scrub".
But Ms Rutley, now 85, told The Australian: "Believe me, I was never born in the bush in the Pilliga."

She was born in Inverell Hospital, 225km northeast of Pilliga, in NSW.
Mr Giles lashed out at people and media prying into his "private family matters" and said it was "not the business of the media", although he put his family history on public record a little more than five years ago and it was his cousin who initially pointed out the opposing facts.
Mr Giles's cousin, Amy Russell, said on Twitter on July 12: "No... #adamgiles' grandmother was born in Inverell hosp, not the Pilliga Scrub, & has NEVER identified as indig or Gamilaroi."      Ms Rutley told The Australian: "I really feel cranky with Adam because I can't believe he would say something like that just to better himself."


Mr Giles refused an interview with the Sunday Territorian, but said in a written statement:
"Unfortunately family histories are not always the neat narratives journalists may want them to be. My family's story is a private one.  My life, unlike that of older generations of Aboriginal people in NSW, has been kinder and more generous. I am grateful for that. I am proud of my heritage and the achievements I have made. I understand that as a public figure, my actions are open to examination and I am happy to engage with people who disagree with my politics and policies.
However, these are private family matters and should be treated with respect. I am offended that my family details are being examined in this way, but reporting by other media outlets has left me no choice but to outline what I know of this history. As a young man , of just 40 years of age, I have to rely on what I've been told by my family about things that happened generations ago.
My grandmother's family had a long history of working in the Pillaga. They worked for many years timber milling on the timber mill.  My great-great grandmother was born on a nearby station. My great- grandmother was, as I understand, born in a small town on the edge of Baradine near the Pillaga. My grandmother,  for reasons that are very much part of her own personal story and which I am loathe to either discuss or speculate upon, was born in Inverell after her mother left Baradine. 
Many of my Nan's generation choose to describe and define themselves in ways that reflect the times they grew up in.   My grandmother may choose to identify herself as Aboriginal or not. That is her choice. What cannot be denied is our family's Aboriginal heritage.  My 85 year old Nan life is not my story to tell. That is her story and her privacy should be respected.

These are sensitive and personal matters that are simply not the business of the media. The media attention has been very upsetting for my family who have not signed up for the kind of scrutiny they've been subjected to."
