Title: Help! I Forgot How to Post Links
Post by: Rev.Cambeul on Sun 11 Jun 2017
I'm sure someone somewhere has asked themselves this question at some time ...

All you need to do is paste the link/url/address where you want it and he forum will take care of the rest.

A second way to force the forum to recognise obscure links is to paste the link where you want it, highlight the link you just pasted, then press the icon in the toolbar that has a little globe (between the Adobe PDF and the email icon).

A third way is to turn a word into a link/embedded link. Press the globe icon and change the following:

to
Text Goes Here
All links open in a new tab.

A fourth way is to change url and /url to iur and /iurl. It means i for internal and will open that link in the same tab.

YouTube links all convert to playable videos. (Instructions to embed YouTube playlists are available elsewhere in this Help section.)

Image links: Use the image icon. All large images are automatically resized to 480 width.
PDF links: If they are secure/https, use the Adobe PDF icon.
MP3: Use the audio icon.

Facefook, Instagram and Twatter: Get the link for the post and paste it in (the link for the post is in post date). The forum will show it as a proper Twitter, Facebook or Instagram post.

If you forget all of that, go to News Home drop down menu, select Help, then select bulletin board code (BBC).

If your username is in blue, you can edit your post later. Do your best for now and try again later.

If you still screw it up, do your best and send me a message - I'll fix it.

Note: I also monitor the forum for reasons of quality control and will edit your post whether or not you ask. Remember that our enemies - in particularly the mainstream media - judge us by the quality of our posts. So always do your best.
