For those who don't know- never forget.
The Holodomor was an intentional famine created by the Soviet Union against the people of Ukraine between 1922-1923. It is recognized as genocide. Although no count is completely accurate, close to five million White people died.
On August 7, 1932 a law came into force in the Soviet Union that stipulated that all food was state property and that mere possession of food was evidence of a crime. This was the beginning of the end for Ukrainians.
I'd like to propose a few days, and up to a week of fasting, beginning on August 7 and ending on August 14, during which we eat nothing or very little and drink only water, to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Thoughts?
