I was also accepted into the French Foreign Legion - they offered to pay my way to France as an Australian Soldier. I just needed a suitcase.
And I was offered to join the US Army. Being ex Australian Regular Army, that meant no "boot camp" and Citizenship after a year's service. Same suitcase offer from an embassy rep.
I had so many opportunities to kill more muds, then I got married and divorced.... Woh is me ~ LOL!
My only regret is that CREATIVITY was not available to me earlier.
