The picture with the skull and the W is the logo of ''Wehrwolf, federation of German men and front warriors.'' The Wehrwolf (military unit) was on 11 January 1923 in Halle on the Saale, Germany was founded. Its members consisted mainly of soldiers from the World War II officers and lower ranks. In the period 1924 to 1929 he had about 30,000 to 40,000 members.

The Wehrwolf was until the summer of 1933 and was then incorporates its own request to the SA and the Jungwolf (the youth movement of the Wehrwolf) in the HJ.
