I always wanted to try things like panning.. the kind of thing you read about during the California Gold Rush.. with long whiskers and jerky, and moonshine to wash it down

Good luck with the gold Brother Paul. I think a framed gold Creator coin or medallion on your wall at home would be an inspiration for many. But seriously, coins are made with base metals and a sprinkling of silver or gold. Percentages are important for instant value recognition, but not for us.

Reverend Albert: When I was a kid it was stamps that I collected. Taught me much the same as you. Cities and nations of the world that I would never have known about, but it also gave me the rudiments of organisational skills. Painstakingly soaking the stamps from the envelopes, drying, cataloguing and rearranging year after year  after year .... It was the beginning of a pattern of thought and discovery that led me through warehousing and stores to the computer operations behind that field, to program writing (in BASIC) and web design, to computer maintenance and the IT world, to assisting and teaching Creators their own basic web design skills (a decade before we had blogs making it easy for all of you), to here. There were other deviations along the route, but they just added to my experience in what others call the university of life.

I still today keep stamps from Creators and throw them into a pouch. One day, maybe ....

Oh yes, I thought I'd do the same for my daughter and collected an uncatalogued album's worth of coins for her before I gave up. She was kidnapped by her mother when only a year old in 18 AC and I never saw her again. The coin album remains uncatalogued sitting with my stamp albums and a few pouches of uncatalogued stamps.

I have all the 3rd Reich coins with swastika on, the best ones for value are the 5 Reichsmarks (90% silver) and then the 2 Reichamark (62% silver)





In the SA section I mainly collect 5 shillings (80% silver)



... and ZAR (Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek) coins (90% silver)



At one stage I had 5 golden Kruger Rands, but sold them during hard times - today they are worth 5 times more ... I could kick myself

I think this is one of those subjects that comes back down to silver. I've seen a lot of forums like storm front advocating hoarding silver bullion but I think there is a problem  with this in that the government can seize silver bullion as was the precedent with Roosevelt.

I note however  coin collections are exempt from seizure (though I'd bury mine anyway if things got that bad)

All Creators should aim to be rich! To me buying silver on ebay now for $35 dollars per ounce (NB watch out for fakes) seems like a bargain when it is heading to $350 dollars per ounce 3 years from now and even $3500- $16000 a decade from now. Once we have wealth we can properly fund and power Creativity in the way it deserves and the way Ben Klassen wanted.
