On Thursday the 8th of August some of our members attended a council meeting regarding the development of the Evanston mosque. 30 or so Police Officers including Horses and Counter Terrorism were outside on the main street. We can speculate that they were expecting a protest or another form of resistance to the construction of the mosque. Council members gathered in the front of the room with microphones and  projectors showing the document for the proposed mosque.

The councils invites to concerned residents were deceptive in that they did not clearly convey that the only criticism they would hear that night were related to the mosques physical attributes and location. The council did not want to hear anything regarding the societal and cultural impacts of the mosque. This was discovered when one concerned resident tried to voice his opinions and concerns about the safety of the local area due to the likely influx of potentially dangerous foreigners and Islamic extremists.

The head of the council meeting shut him down repeatedly saying that any criticisms must be about the mosque's physical attributes. Other locals also had similar concerns but were dismissed all the same. A police officer also mentioned that the council had received a large number of complaints and criticisms via emails prior to the meeting.

Other criticisms from local residents related to noise, landscape and privacy change to the peaceful and quiet area.

The representative from the islamic society and the council members went back and forth about small physical details of mosque, with not a single care about the residents concerns whether physical or social. The council has clearly already made up its mind. Morally corrupt maggots to the bone.

We are often criticised by our approach to politics but as you can see, even if we do follow the systems procedures we are shut down anyway. So much for the democratic processes. This is why we do what we do. There is no political solution. We will continue to conduct grassroots activism within our communities and rally our people to the national struggle.

Note: There are at least two factions of Muslims constantly fighting at that place with sticks, knives and swords. It's probably them doing it to themselves and taking the opportunity play the victim and to BLAME WHITEY!
