Child neglect house at Parafield Gardens revealed

THESE are the first pictures inside the northern suburbs house at the centre of a Supreme Court criminal neglect trial.

The photographs - taken by police when they searched the house and yard in June 2008 - show the state of the home which was shared by six adults and a number of children lived, including the five siblings who are the alleged victims.

Three men are currently standing trial after each pleaded not guilty to aggravated acts endangering life, criminal neglect and aggravated acts creating a risk of serious harm in relation to five children allegedly living at the home between February 2008 and June 2008.

It is alleged the men, along with three women who also lived in the house, carried out a "cruel regime" of starvation against the children.

That regime is alleged to have been masterminded by the partner of the children's father.

Their father is one of the men standing trial, while their mother was last week sentenced to a maximum six years in prison after admitting her role in the regime.

The jury has heard the siblings were fed as little as eight hot chips a day and had to stand facing a wall from morning to bedtime.

It is alleged each child had similar symptoms of malnourishment including wasting, scabies, ulcers and loss of muscle and bone density.

The jury has heard that at one point, the five starving children were offered a plate of dog food which they "wolfed down".

Previously the only pictures of the adults available were under blankets while Abo social workers escorted them to police vehicles.

Four Corners was devastating last night in detailing how Aboriginal children are dying horribly of neglect and abuse in the Northern Territory. But while it suggested white "racism" as one factor, it failed to explain that the real racism we should be fighting is the New Racism of the Left - and the Left's "stolen generations" myth - that has made us so slow to save black children from conditions from which we'd save a white child in a flash. Why don't we take it another step to the left and allow them to have their own sovereign nation as is demanded by some left and many indigenous? Let's say we give them the NT, evacuate all Whites and ship all of the indigenous population there. Instantly solves the problems of political correctness (with the indigenous at least) and in twenty-five years, we can take back the NT after they kill eachother. Good work Four Corners for turning me onto Aboriginal Sovereignty.

No chance, they'd all be back as illegals in Villawood in a month.  We've seen what Aboriginal leadership does for their own people, a sovereign Aboriginal nation would be broke in a year, gutted from the inside by corruption & jobs for the boys. It would make Zimbabwe look like an economic powerhouse. And how would you deal with all the white blackfellas who suddenly remembered their Anglo ancestry when the bus came for them.
