A GROUP of juvenile criminals COONS are believed to be responsible for stealing five golf carts from the Katherine Country Club, before joy-riding around town and dumping the carts. 
 
Katherine Country Club assistant manager Kathy Porter said the joy-riders managed to evade the club's security camera network, which only covers the clubhouse and not the shed where the buggies are stored.

The thieves also managed to evade the attention of the club's other security measure: a large guard dog who keeps watch over the beer garden overnight.

"He's pretty unfriendly if you don't know him," Ms Porter said. The golf buggies are owned by club members, rather than the club.

A YOUNG criminal allegedly broke into his neighbour's northern Darwin home – but was back on the street after less than a day in custody. 
 
The victim – a woman in her 40s who didn't want to be named – said she found out the 16-year-old perpetrator was given police bail when she heard him yelling "you f***ers can't get me" from the street.

"I felt so unsafe," she said.

"I just sat there crying."

Correctional Services Department spokeswoman Kylie Robinson said the NT Bail Act did not force police – or a court, in the case of a magistrate granting bail – to inform a victim of a criminal's freedom.

The woman's home was broken into in early November – one week after her husband was admitted to hospital with serious injuries suffered in an accident.

The intruder had smashed the louvres in her house and cut the security netting from her doors while the victim was home in her unsecured house with her teenage daughter and elderly father.

"None of us heard it. The dog was inside, the airconditioning was going. There was a big storm," she said.

The offender stole laptops, phones, tablets and a handbag, but the victims' belongings were tracked down when the mother used her "Find my iPhone" app.

They were found in the neighbour's bedroom. He lived in the house behind her.

Police told the victim the boy was a serial offender in home invasions and thefts and was known to them. He was taken away that morning, only to return that night.

She contacted police to question why the boy was allowed back home, just metres away from her residence.

She said they informed her she was entitled to have a say in the bail conditions.

"But nobody offered me anything," she said.

"I just think we need some pressure to change the Bail Act."

The victim was not aware if the offender was charged.

Ms Robinson said consideration of the risk to the victim or witness could only be considered in court, and not when released on bail from the police cells.

The Bail Amendment Bill 2014 – expected to be released this month – will make it a specific requirement for a court to assess the living arrangements of both the victim and the accused before making a decision.

A MAN accused of stabbing a woman in the head in a remote Queensland community had been subject to a domestic violence order. 
 
THE 30-year-old woman was stabbed once in the head at a home in Aurukun on Sunday, police say.
She needed medical treatment for a deep cut to her temple area.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with unlawful wounding and contravening a domestic violence order.

A MAN was stabbed in the back with a pair of scissors and had his pants pulled down in a bizarre attack in Parap. 
 
Police said the 55-year-old man was walking towards his car in the Parap village when he struck up a conversation with the 36-year-old attacker about 11.45pm.

Acting-Officer in Charge of Strike Force Trident, Sergeant Mark Bland said CCTV operators watched as the pair then got into a fight.

"The fight has escalated and led to the attacker pulling a pair of scissors on the victim, before stabbing him three or four times in the back," he said.

As the man fell to the ground, the attacker allegedly stomped on his head.

The attacker then rifled through the victim's pockets. In doing so, he managed to pull his victim's pants down.

He then found the victim's car keys, and fled in his Nissan Tiida.

CCTV operators had by now alerted police. Officers later spotted the car on Vanderlin Drv in Karama, before finding it abandoned in Freycinet St, Karama.

After a short search of the area, officers found the man hiding in a back yard.

He remains in custody while investigations continue.

The victim taken to Royal Darwin Hospital, suffering superficial stab wounds, a possible broken eye socket, and grazing and bruising.

Yep, I've had that in Brisbane. After their Black Deaths in Custody Protest Looking For a Handout Marches, they go around in gangs looking for Whites to bash. Six of them do that, and to multiple people over the night, and all the coppers do is threaten anyone with arrest that speaks up. And if it was like that in the 90's, you can only imagine how bad it is these days, where even in Adelaide, anyone White that is bashed by coons in the city is tracked down - thanks to CCTV - and arrested for fighting in the streets. Any protests only result in further charges up to and including Hate Crime charges. Fuck the Police!

A manCoon lump of shit who took part in the rape of two European backpackers in Alice Springs in 2012 has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Bruce Impu, 20, was a teenager when he and two other offenders approached the Finnish and German backpackers, who were sleeping in their car in a suburban cul-de-sac in Alice Springs.

The three men smashed the windows then repeatedly gang raped the women at gunpoint.

The circumstances of the assaults created headlines around the world because the three accused were 17 at the time of the offences.

Impu was the last to be caught and charged by police, after co-offenders Ginger Green and Norman Kernan were sentenced to 15 years each in 2013 after pleading guilty to sexual intercourse without consent.

Before sentencing, Justice Jenny Blokland said Impu's serious criminal history and "bleak" prospects meant his sentence would be greater.

In one of the assaults, Impu showed "sustained offending of a deeply brutal and humiliating kind," she said.

She described the crime as "depraved" and "cowardly" and noted how it had deeply affected the victims psychologically.

At the trial of Green and Kernan last year, the court heard statements from the two victims, saying the attacks had destroyed their lives.

One victim suffered the break-up of her marriage, while the other developed depression and an eating disorder.

Justice Blokland said all three teens were "principle offenders" in the multiple sexual assaults.

"The victim impact statements show the devastating effects it has had on the victims," she said.

She said the women now have "highly diminished psychological states".

"They were, however, brave during the course of their terrifying ordeal," she said.

"Unfortunately this did not protect them."

Impu was handed an 18-year sentence with a non-parole period of 12 years.

The total sentence for multiple counts of rape equalled 31 years and six months but some of this jail time will be served concurrently.
