Australia Continues Plunge Into Authoritarianism And Military Brinkmanship

September 18th, 2021

Australia has joined the US and UK in an "enhanced trilateral security partnership" called AUKUS with the obvious goal of coordinating escalations against China -And the first initiative will focus on getting Australia nuclear-powered submarines...

This deal will replace a planned $90 billion program to obtain twelve submarines designed by France, an obnoxious expenditure either way when a quarter of Australians are struggling to make ends meet during a pandemic... If readers are curious why Australia would simultaneously subvert its own economic interests by turning against its primary trading partner and its own security interests by feeding into dangerous and unnecessary provocations... American political analyst John Mearsheimer claimed that China is going to continue to grow economically and will convert this economic power into military power to dominate Asia ... "Now the question is what does this all mean for Australia?" Mearsheimer said. "Well, you're in a quandary for sure. Everybody knows what the quandary is. You trade a lot with China, and that trade is very important for your prosperity, no question about that. Security-wise you really want to go with us. It makes just a lot more sense, right? ... because if you don't survive, you're not gonna prosper."

A Covid-19 "concentration camp" in Darwin, Australia

"You're either with us or against us," he continued. "And if you're trading extensively with China, and you're friendly with China, you're undermining the United States in this security competition. You're feeding the beast... And that is not going to make us happy. And when we are not happy you do not want to underestimate how nasty we can be. Just ask Fidel Castro." So there you have it. Australia is not aligned with the US to protect itself from China. Australia is aligned with the US to protect itself from the US. "I'll say it again and again. If you want your life to continue close to normal, get your jab," Gunner said. And we continue to see other authoritarian escalations in Australia which have nothing to do with Covid as well. Australia Has No Bill Of Rights, And It Shows "While the pandemic has certainly been a major factor in exacerbating civil rights erosion

Quote from: John Mearsheimer on Sun 19 Sep 2021This deal will replace a planned $90 billion program to obtain twelve submarines designed by France, an obnoxious expenditure either way when a quarter of Australians are struggling to make ends meet during a pandemic... If readers are curious why Australia would simultaneously subvert its own economic interests by turning against its primary trading partner [China] and its own security interests by feeding into dangerous and unnecessary provocations... American political analyst John Mearsheimer claimed that China is going to continue to grow economically and will convert this economic power into military power to dominate Asia ...

Mearsheimer seems to know his stuff about Israel - to the extent that he's labelled an anti-Semite - and he understands what China's up to better than most politicians. However, Mearsheimer appears to treat Australia as some sort of clone of America - which it is not.

Some points that need clarification:

 * Australia has practically no real defence force. Alone, it wouldn't be able to hold out against China for more than a single day. Being an island nation, Australia needs submarines. The French deal was not good for Australia, but the American/UK deal is better. The nuclear powered subs are something that scares China. The French diesel subs were an over-priced laugh from a 1940's joke book. Not only are the nuclear powered subs cheaper and better than what the French offered, but they will also be built with Australian sourced materials - meaning more jobs and money for Australians. And then there's the fact that Australia will have its submarines sooner than planned with the French. The French deal was for the benefit of France; the US/UK deal is for the benefit of Australia.

Australia also appears to have suddenly learned its lessons after the fiasco of the previously shoddy Collins Class Submarines - but that has been a battle that's been going on behind the scenes for a number of years. A battle between opportunist politicians on one side, and the Australian Navy and military strategists on the other. The same battle is currently waging with politicians vs the Air Force and military strategists.

Parliamentary Report from (September 18) 2001:
Lessons of the Collins Submarine Program for Improved Oversight of Defence Procurement
https://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/pubs/rp/rp0102/02RP03

Australia does not have the population nor the military manpower to defend itself. It can, however, have a navy capable of rivalling any navy in the world, that can protect Australia's shores. While mutual defence treaties are a good idea, Australia has already been abandoned by a primary defender - the UK - the moment the S.H.I.T.F. in 1941. If Australia wont go down the road of push-button nukes, then a strong navy is the only chance Australia has for self-reliance from all foreign threats. America has a Southern border - for which it need only build a wall, and police the border. Australia has threats to the North that include China. A wall and border porkers just wont do it.

 * Australia has been militarily aligned with the US since December 2, 1941. Since the moment Australia realised that it cannot rely on Britain for protection, but can utilise the US military for protection. Without the Americans, and had Japan won that war, Whites and Abos would be slaves, and the entire country would be speaking Japanese.

 * After turning its back on the UK, Australia has signed different treaties with the US: ANZUS - like NATO but Downunder. And the 5 Eyes intelligence gathering programme - includes Canada, NZ, the UK, US and Australia.

 * When the UK joined the EU in 72, it turned its back on Australia. Now that the UK has left the EU, it needs Australia and America.

 * China only recently became Australia's major trading partner. Once upon a time Australia was self-sufficient, but big business says it's cheaper to outsource everything - from growing tomatoes to phone answering services and manufacturing cars. Exactly the same story as the US. Big business needs China - poor Australians just need their jobs brought back from China.

 * Bill of Rights:
[/url]
The UK has a Bill of Rights, but no written Constitution. The US has a written Constitution and a Bill of Rights. Australia has a written Constitution but no Bill of Rights. Right or wrong, the argument against a Bill of Rights for Australia is that the rights of Australians are supposedly protected because they are maintained by judges who uphold the rights of the people, rather than manipulative politicians.

The argument further states that without a Bill of Rights in the US, the politicians would be able to manipulate the US Constitution and remove the rights of its citizens. Therefore - so the argument goes - the US needs a Bill of Rights, the UK needs a Bill of Rights, Australia does not.

Personally, I don't believe that the rights of Australians are safe with judges either. Judges are just as capable of manipulating laws on their own, based upon flimsy rulings claimed to be the Will of the Community. For example: Black Australians have the right to promote the expulsion and murder of White Australians. It's called Freedom of Speech. The judge will cite the Will of the Community as reason for upholding Black Rights/Black Privilege. On the other hand, White Australians accused of Hate Speech (meaning Whitey has said something otherwise innocuous to offend Blacky) have no right to Freedom of Speech. The judge will cite the Will of the Community as reason for upholding the charge, before pronouncing sentence.

Australia needs a Bill of Rights - but if one were to be put in place today, it would be anti-White in every way possible, because the judges that would authorise the changes made by opportunist politicians, would declare that it is the Will of the Community.

Federal Register of Legislation - Australian Bill of Rights Bill 2017
https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/C2017B00161

The Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission

... is a taxpayer funded organisation that protects women and minorities from White Men. Should a Bill of Rights be mandated for Australia, it will be run entirely under the auspices of HREOC. Then instead of merely just looking the other way and ignoring the Rights of Whites, the concept of No Rights for Whites will be enshrined in the same law that makes Black Privilege the overriding Law of the Land.

The Final Solution: What Australia needs is a Bill of Rights for Whites - and the only way to get that is a White Revolution.

It has no bill of rights because basicly we started as an off shoot of the UK. We still have the Queen as head of state with a Governor General to represent her who can veto laws.

But.... Is Australia still "UK"?! No! I can't just walk in and work there and claim benefits , I need to have the right visa be it a back packer's visa , spouse or skilled worker's permit. It used to be a "Commonwealth free for all" before the 70's where people from Jamaica, Pakistan and Nigeria could just walk on in but it ruined the place!

The EU wouldn't  allow them to just take people from former colonies Willy nilly... the jobs there were for EU citizens! Now the UK is forming free trade deals with the countries it has stuff in common with.

The Australia of 60 years ago was "Australia". What we have now is "Chindia".
The thing is it is a great nation to live in , but it is "their game". It's only our game when you know all the rules and have money and time to beat them in their game.

I couldn't see a white revolution here because the average person cares just for football and booze and having $ in their pockets. You take that away and they'll wake up!
All these old boys are retiring and selling their large properties on a block a 3 bedroom house stood subdivide it to squeeze 2 x smaller homes Chindia moves into.

The Great Australian dream of home ownership on a three bedroom home with yard, garage, wife, children and a dog has been destroyed by "The great Chindian dream" ( tiny, squashed up curry owned boxes"!

Germany and France Threaten Trade Sanctions Against Australia as Punishment for Submarine Deal

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/world/2021/09/22/aukus-joe-biden-meets-scott-morrison

Scott Morrison and Joe Biden have faced the world together in New York as the fallout from the controversial nuclear submarine deal continues with Germany joining the chorus of discontent.

Mr Morrison and the US president met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly just days after the AUKUS pact was revealed

Mr Morrison did not address the submarines issue directly but thanked Mr Biden for his leadership in the Pacific and praised the president for understanding the complexities of the situation in the region.

Mr Biden said their conversation would continue on Friday in a meeting with Japan and India, the other two members of a separate partnership known as the Quad.

MSM is Proud to Announce
"The United States has no closer or more reliable ally than Australia," Mr Biden said [Trump said, Bush said, Bush said, Nixon said, LBJ said, Eisenhower said, MacArthur said], adding that the goal of the two countries is a "free and open" Pacific region.

The AUKUS partnership will enable Australia to acquire at least eight US nuclear submarines but in doing so had to cancel previous submarine acquisitions from France, leading to a diplomatic blow-up.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas criticised the new security alliance between the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, describing the move as "irritating".

"It's sobering, not just for France," Mr Maas said.

"I can well understand the anger of our French friends," Mr Maas said, adding that EU allies would now have to think about how to achieve more strategic sovereignty.

"Ultimately, it will be up to us in Europe whether we can manage that or not."

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10011085/How-Australias-ditching-French-submarine-deal-threats-EU-free-trade-deal.html

The US is sharing its nuclear technology with a new nation for the first time since 1958 when it formed a defence alliance with the UK

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has weighed in to express her outrage at Australia terminating a 2016 arrangement for France to build diesel submarines in Adelaide.

'One of our member states has been treated in a way that is not acceptable,' she said.

France's Europe minister Clément Beaune said Paris could scuttle further progress on any EU-Australia trade deal.
Australia has since June 2018 been in negotiations with the EU to devise a free trade deal.

During the 2019-20 financial year, Australia's two-way trade with the EU was worth $78.7billion, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade data showed. The Brexit era has seen the UK embrace Australia as it loosened trade and defence ties with the EU.

Since Brexit was concluded in January 2020, the UK has begun free trade negotiations with Australia, signalling it would give Australian agricultural producers greater access.

Australia in 'a terrible lot of trouble' with $90b French 'con-job' submarine programme

Quote from: Sky News AustraliaThe Australian's Robert Gottliebsen says Australia is "in a terrible lot of trouble" with the $90 billion "con-job" submarine programme.

"The French sent out here a whole series of negotiators – led by a very skilled female negotiator – and they sold us a deal that would have the ships here earlier, it would have Australian content," he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

"But as soon as we signed it, as soon as we said yes, they said 'oh that's not the deal at all, we've got a totally different deal for you, we're going to do the lot and it's going to cost you a lot more money'.

"It's not going to cost $90 billion, it's going to cost $120-150 billion ... it is a nonsense and it has to stop."

It's true the French subs were like "pop guns" in a fight against China when they have more superior hardware.

The technology has changed in the 5 years the deal was made and the French product is already obsolete despite Australia needing the Subs in a quicker window now.

Still it was un- ethical to dog France like that. They always. Talk about what is "Australian" and what is "Un- Australian". Like you hear the PM describe greedy panic buyers fighting in the shops over toilet paper "Un-Australian". If that behaviour is classed as somebody not getting a "fair go". What a "dog act" it was dropping the French deal!

Boris Johnson has told the French president to "donnez-moi un break" and get over his anger about a new military pact between the UK, US and Australia

BBC News (UK) | 23 September 2021

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-58654624

Speaking to reporters in Washington, he said it was time for "some of our dearest friends" to "prenez un grip".

Paris is angry after Australia signed the Aukus pact to build nuclear-powered submarines, pulling out of a major contract with France in the process

"We all want to reach out, everyone wants to reach out to Paris and try to sort something out," he told reporters on a flight to New York ahead of a speech later at the UN General Assembly.

The BBC has been told that the prime minister and US President Joe Biden both expressed "astonishment" at France's reaction during their meeting at the White House on Tuesday.

The pair discussed how to reassure the French side, BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg said, but decided not to invite France or any other country to join the pact - but to look at ways of increasing collaboration in the Indo-Pacific region.

Both the UK and the US believed, she added, that Australian leader Scott Morrison had warned France ahead of the announcement, but were unsure of the exact manner of those conversations.

In the days after the deal was announced, French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian described the move as a "stab in the back".
France's defence minister then called off talks with her UK counterpart, Ben Wallace, who tried to reassure France saying that there had been no intent to "upset or drive a wedge between us and France".

And in a rare step among allies, French President Emmanuel Macron ordered the recall of the French ambassadors to Washington and Canberra.
However, France's ambassador will now return to the US following a call between Mr Macron and US President Joe Biden on Wednesday.
During the call, the two leaders agreed that the situation "would have benefitted from open consultations among allies on matters of strategic interest to France and our European partners, " a joint statement said.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the half-hour call was "friendly", and Mr Biden hoped it was a step towards "returning to normal".

On his visit to the US this week, Mr Johnson said the deal was "fundamentally a great step forward for global security. It's three very like-minded allies standing shoulder to shoulder creating a new partnership for the sharing of technology.
"It's not exclusive. It's not trying to shoulder anybody out," he added.

Analysts have described the Aukus alliance as probably the most significant security arrangement between the three nations since World War Two.

The pact will focus on military capability, separating it from the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing alliance which also includes New Zealand and Canada
.

While Australia's submarines is the big-ticket item, Aukus will also involve the sharing of cyber capabilities and other undersea technologies.
Mr Johnson is understood to have learned French while attending school in Brussels and, during his time as foreign secretary, he was known to venture into French during press conferences.

He has deployed the "donnez-moi un break" phrase previously on several other issues, including over his 2019 decision to suspend Parliament, and a 2016 warning from a French minister that Brexit could lead to border controls in Calais.

Technically speaking France runs neighbouring places like :-New Caledonia and Polynesia. They are involved in the Indo - pacific region. I wonder why they couldn't be included in the pact?! Aren't they trusted enough?

They could be of assistance to us?!

We know NZ and Canada are quiet in calling out China because they fear trade sanctions and hostilities from this bully!.....so perhaps it's because of this they aren't as trusted?! Would they bend if China fought other allies in a war?

The only way we can beat China is if we are on the same page with each other ... unfortunately this'll involve India too and nobody really trusts these shonks! People pretend they really trust them and are our friends. But in their heart of hearts nobody want any business dealings with cunning Curries!
