Title: Aboriginal Privilege is Now Official
Post by: Rev.Cambeul on Tue 11 Feb 2020
The Libtard creed dictates that all people are the same and that RACE DOES NOT EXIST. When race is mentioned in favour of the non-White Races, the declaration then becomes RACE IS NOT BIOLOGICAL.

The Australian High Court has declared that no matter where Australian Indigenous people are born in the world and what citizenship they hold, they are not to be deported from Australia. As it is considered illegal and discriminatory to deny the Aboriginality of any person that claims Aboriginal status, it can be argued that anyone who fraudulently claims to be of Aboriginal heritage is now also protected under the same legally abiding laws of Aboriginal Privilege.

No Privilege for White Australians: Having parents born in Scotland, I can be deported at any time. Both of my parents arrived here as children in the late 50's. In those days, being British Subjects meant that they were automatically considered to be Australian citizens. Those laws had changed in 1973 and by 1978, with my parents being told that they were no longer Australian Citizens, they both obtained Australian Citizenship papers.

I was born in South Australia in 1969 to parents who, under the law of the day, were considered to be Australian Citizens. And yet, because I hold the right to apply for British residency and to apply to travel on a British Passport, all it would take to deport me to Britain, would be to arrest me on some trumped up charges - something we've seen too many times before - sentence me to a few months imprisonment, and then deport me at the earliest opportunity.

Are Rape Babies Indigenous? The thing is, if I declared that I was an Abo, the government then could not deport me. All I'd have to is make up some bullshit claiming my mother was raped by an Abo .... It would be outright fraud and would probably not work for someone with my history, but for others, it can and will work. Then there is also the problem for genuine Aboriginal people themselves that are legitimately Aboriginal but avoid or have personal conflicts with their own racial community, and so are denied their Aboriginal identity and will be deported regardless of the evidence of their own DNA ... because Libtards falsely claim that RACE IS NOT BIOLOGICAL; which is now something that Aboriginal Activists themselves also, to their own detriment, have embraced.

High Court rules Aboriginal people cannot be deported for criminal convictions, cannot be 'alien' to Australia

Two Indigenous men, Daniel Love (left) and Brendan Thoms (right), have faced deportation since failing their migration character tests as a result of serving jail sentences.

In a 4-3 split, the High Court today found Aboriginal Australians were not subject to the alien powers in the constitution and could therefore not be deported under immigration law.

But the court did not clear Mr Love entirely, saying it could not reach agreement on whether he was an Aboriginal person on the facts stated in the case.

Both men were born overseas but moved to Australia as children and held permanent residency visas.

Mr Love, a recognised member of the Kamilaroi people but born in Papua New Guinea, was placed in immigration detention after being sentenced to more than a year in jail for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A delegate for Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton had cancelled the 40-year-old's visa, but that decision was later revoked and he was released from detention.

Mr Thoms was born in New Zealand and also does not have Australian citizenship, though he is a native title holder as a member of the Gunggari people.

After serving part of an 18-month sentence for a domestic violence assault he was taken into immigration detention, where he has remained while awaiting the outcome of the High Court case.

Outside the High Court, one of the men's lawyers, Claire Gibbs said today's High Court ruling was not about citizenship, but was instead about "who is an Australian national and who is a part of the Australian community".

"It's about the use of alien powers, which we believe the government has been using inconsistently, unfairly and, now we've proven, unlawfully," she said.

"So, in a practical sense, Brendan is still a New Zealand citizen, but he's not an alien in this country and he's protected from being deported.

Aboriginal people cannot be 'alien' to Australia, lawyers argued

In an unusual move the High Court held two separate hearings into the case.

It was originally heard in May last year, but came back in December after the court suggested the parties consider whether Aboriginal people occupy a special position, backed up by common law recognition of native title rights.

If that was the case, the court said it then followed that the crown had a unique obligation to protect Aboriginal society, and in return Aboriginal people owed a permanent allegiance to the crown.

Lawyers for the men submitted that Aboriginal people could not be "alien" to Australia.

"Aboriginal Australians are a permanent part of the Australian community," they wrote in a submission.

The submissions also stated that at Federation, Aboriginal people were not considered "aliens" under the constitution.

But the Commonwealth told the court any person who was not a citizen was an "alien" under the law, and that Mr Thorns and Mr Love owed their allegiance to the countries they were born in.

Writing in The Australian, constitutional law expert Anne Twomey says the most contentious aspect of the judgment is whether it creates "special rights or privileges" for Aboriginal people and creates a race-based constitutional distinction.

While Justice Gordon "pointed out that the Constitution does not prohibit special treatment of a race" and Justice Edelman noted that "equality is not about treating everyone the same", Professor Twomey predicts the issue will be a matter of ongoing debate.

She also cited Justice Edelman's discussion of the "powerful spiritual and cultural connections Aboriginal people have generally with the lands of Australia" as an "underlying fundamental truth that cannot be altered or deemed not to exist by legislation".

High Court ruling on indigenous deportation 'will lead to racial division and strife'

The High Court's ruling that non-citizens who identify as Aboriginal cannot be deported will cause "tremendous racial strife", conservatives say.

Excerpt: The High Court's ruling that non-citizens who identify as Aboriginal cannot be deported will cause "tremendous racial strife", conservative commentators warn.

In a split 4-3 decision yesterday, the High Court found Aboriginal people held a special status exempt from immigration laws, after considering the cases of two convicted criminals the government wanted to deport.

New Zealand-born Brendan Thoms and Papua New Guinea-born Daniel Love had their Australian visas cancelled in 2018 after they were jailed for violent assaults and placed in immigration detention pending deportation.

Neither man holds Australian citizenship but both identify as indigenous, and each has one Australian parent. In its ruling, the High Court found Aboriginal Australians could not be considered "aliens" under the Constitution.

The Morrison Government said that "on the face of it", the decision "has created a new category of persons — neither an Australian citizen under the Australian Citizenship Act, nor a non-citizen".

Sky News host Andrew Bolt described the ruling as "extraordinary".

"The High Court ruled that people who identify as Aboriginal now have one right that people of any other race do not," he said last night.

"No one calling themselves Aboriginal can now be expelled by the government from Australia — even if they're born overseas, even if they aren't Australian citizens and even if they're criminals."

He said the reasons given by the majority were "based on treating people who are before the court not as individuals but as members of some race sharing some supposed similarities common to them all".

In her opinion, Judge Michelle Gordon wrote that "the indigenous peoples of Australia are the first peoples of this country" who have a "spiritual or metaphysical" connection with "the land and waters" that was "not severed or extinguished by European 'settlement'".

Bolt said the ruling was "race-based thinking".

"This decision ... brings us closer to having people who identify as Aboriginal having the right to effectively run their own race-based governments or do things that are beyond Australian law because they say, 'We're Aboriginal.' That to me is a form of racial division that can lead only to tremendous division and strife," he said.

Meanwhile, Labor MP Linda Burney, the first indigenous woman elected to the House of Representatives, welcomed the "incredibly significant" ruling.

"It reinforces Aboriginal connection country in Australia," Ms Burney told reporters in Canberra today.

"(It) reaffirms the important connection, the special connection, that Aboriginal people have to Australia and their historical connection."

Ms Burney encouraged the Morrison Government to push on with a referendum on constitutional recognition and an indigenous voice to parliament.

Morgan Begg, research fellow at the Liberal-aligned think tank the Institute of Public Affairs, said the High Court's decision "to exclude a specific group from the scope of the constitutional aliens power is the most radical instance of judicial activism in Australian history".

"The High Court has created a new class of citizenship based according to identity which offends the basic moral principle of racial equality," Mr Begg said.

"This decision has led to the absurd position that a person can be a non-citizen but not subject to Australia's migration laws. This is a fundamental challenge to the idea of racial equality as well as the sovereignty of the parliament to decide who can be members of our shared political community."

While the case was a big victory for Thoms, the court was unable to agree on whether Love was Aboriginal, casting continued uncertainty over his case.

The men are seeking damages for false imprisonment after being placed in immigration detention pending their deportation.

Lawyer Claire Gibbs said the case went far beyond the issue of citizenship. "It's about who belongs here, who is an Australian national and who is part of the Australian community," she told reporters outside court yesterday.

"It's about the use of alien powers, which we believe the government has been using inconsistently, unfairly and, now we've proven, unlawfully."

The decision recognises indigenous connection to country and means Aboriginal Australians can no longer be removed.

Acting immigration minister Alan Tudge said the government was reviewing the decision as it could have implications for migration laws.

"The Department of Home Affairs will consider the best methods to review other cases which may be impacted," he said in a statement.

Sunrise host Samantha Armytage and commentator Prue MacSween are facing a racial vilification lawsuit over a controversial segment on indigenous adoption aired by the Seven Network.

The potential Federal Court action comes after settlement negotiations collapsed in a group racial discrimination complaint filed in the Australian Human Rights Commission.

During a March 2018 broadcast, Armytage and panellists on the breakfast TV show discussed Aboriginal adoption.

MacSween stated: "Just like the first Stolen Generation, where a lot of children were taken because it was for their well-being, we need to do it again

The Federal Court action is being led by Aboriginal elder Aunty Rhonda Dixon-Grovenor, the group's lawyers said on Thursday.

They said the eight Aboriginal complainants were forced to take the action after the commission negotiations broke down.

"Sunrise platformed wealthy white women calling for a Stolen Generations 2.0 as a means of salvation for our young people," Ms Dixon-Grovenor said.

"This shameful, profoundly hurtful and devastating display of racism was broadcast by a commercial television station into homes right across Australia.

"The dignity of all Aboriginal people and children was violated in our very own homes and lounge rooms around Australia."

A Seven spokeswoman said the network was not aware of any actual claim being filed at this stage so could not comment on the case.

"Seven settled the original matter in late 2019 in the Federal Court with the Yirrkala community and the Yolngu families and offered an unreserved apology on-air shortly after," the spokeswoman said.

After negotiations broke down, the group had 60 days to file a case in the Federal Court.

AAP understands law firm Susan Moriarty will file proceedings on their behalf once they receive a certificate stating the initial negotiations were unresolvable

They want more compo money?! For what ?! Saying the government took them because they fail to look after their kids?

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/politics/australian-politics/2020/06/12/scott-morrison-apology-slavery/

Scott Morrison has apologised for remarks about slavery in Australia, acknowledging that "all sorts of hideous practices" had been waged against indigenous people.

The Prime Minister attracted widespread criticism after saying on Thursday "there was no slavery in Australia" when the country was founded.

Mr Morrison said his comments were about how NSW was settled on principles which included that the colony was not to have slavery

"My comments were not intended to give offence and if they did, I deeply regret that and apologise for that," he told reporters in Canberra on Friday.

"In Australia we know we have had problems in our past. We have acknowledged those

The Prime Minister also described indigenous incarceration rates as heartbreaking, saying there was a commitment to act and no shortage of funding to address the problem

Indigenous historian Bruce Pascoe was among those to criticise Mr Morrison's remarks on slavery.

"It's pretty obvious that when you chain people up by the neck and force them to march 300km and then work on cattle stations for non-indigenous barons, then that is slavery," Mr Pascoe told ABC radio.

He said Australia needed to confront and acknowledge its past.

"It's about recognition, it's about embracing the history – good and bad," he said.

Alice Springs Councillor Jacinta Price has told Sky News of the "reality of the circumstances" occurring in remote communities which the weekend's Black Lives Matter protesters "care zero for".

Ms Price said watching the footage of the protesters and the conversations around 'white privilege' "make me sick to my stomach" and labelled the protesters as "narcissists" who don't care about "anyone else's lives than their own".

"The idea that they can pump themselves up, make themselves feel virtuous ... half the time these protesters and these supporters don't really know what it is they're attempting to support".

Mrs Price lambasted the "ignorance that's being bred through the Left right now" who seemingly ignore that almost "70 per cent of Aboriginal men and women incarcerated are incarcerated for acts of violence against their loves ones

Victoria Police officers were guarding Captain Cook's Cottage on Sunday as Black Lives Matter activists defaced historical monuments across the country.

The police operation was carried out on the same day NSW Police charged two women, aged 27 and 28, after a Captain Cook statue in Sydney's Hyde Park was vandalised.

Police were alerted to graffiti on the statue about 4am on Sunday and arrested the two women on College Street in the CBD, NSW Police said in a statement
The women were allegedly found with a bag containing spray cans

It appeared Victoria Police was anticipating a similar attack on Sunday, with several officers watching over Captain Cook's heritage-listed cottage in Melbourne's Fitzroy Gardens

Across the country, protesters have vandalised several statues of divisive historical figures as part of the global Black Lives Matter movement.

In the Victorian town of Ballarat, bronze busts of former Liberal Australian prime ministers Tony Abbott and John Howard were found covered in red spray paint on Saturday morning.

The statues have since been wrapped and fenced off

On Friday in Perth, a statue of Captain James Stirling – the first governor of the colony of Western Australia – was also defaced with red paint.

The statue's neck and hands were painted red and an Aboriginal flag was painted over the inscription at the base.

A 30-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage or destruction of property

Statues of explorers and slave traders are considered offensive to Indigenous Australians because they are painful reminders of their ancestors' suffering at the hands of the British Empire
.

Between 1794 and 1928, there were at least 270 frontier massacres of Aboriginal people as part of an organised attempt at genocide, according to figures from The Guardian.

As part of the Black Lives Matter protests sweeping the globe, there have been renewed calls to destroy or vandalise these statues.

So the Boongs think it is acceptable to destroy white monuments? If I went to a sacred site of theirs and disrespected it there would be outrage!

If I went to some of the Japanese monuments /attractions around Australia and trashed them because I took umbrage to an attempted Japanese invasion most people wouldn't see that as being fair and reasonable ! Not to the Japs who peacefully live in my community.
Or the fact Australia fought Afghans too And they have a monument.

There are plenty of Abo statues and memorials across Australia, and as @Br.IanVonTurpie pointed, there plenty of Afghan, Jap, statues, memorials and China Towns across Australia. There's always Abo flags and example of Abo art to tear down everywhere across this country.

If this becomes a concerted campaign to legally or illegally tear down and remove White History, then EVERYTHING NON-WHITE IS FAIR GAME. Remove all evidence that non-Whites have ever existed in Australia.

For the time being, however, we can afford to bide our time. Wait out this CHINESE DEATH VIRUS. Allow the BLACK PLAGUE to become infected and die out. Give the government a chance to do the right thing - and when they don't, we shitstir the melting pot of hate. By then it'll be war on the streets and only the BLUE NIGGERS will be in our way.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8543717/Indigenous-leader-Jacinta-Price-slams-World-Vision-saying-COVID-19-reminded-kids-colonialism.html

An Indigenous town councillor from Central Australia has slammed foreign aid charity World Vision for suggesting coronavirus had reminded Aboriginal children about diseases brought to Australia by white colonialists

Jacinta Price, from Alice Springs Town Council, said the charity's 30-second video did more to 'drive the racial divide and ingrain fear of our government and police in our children's hearts

The World Vision video features a woman suggesting COVID-19 had made children recall how Europeans had brought diseases into Australia

'One of the issues is this disease is bringing back family trauma, re-traumatising families thinking about the disease which were imported into Australia in settler times,' she said.

World Vision also argued lockdowns, still in force in Melbourne, had reminded Aboriginal people about 'being told what to do constantly by the government and having a real fear of government and of police'.

Ms Price, who has Indigenous Warlpiri and Celtic heritage, said this kind of campaign only encouraged children to hate police and did nothing to reduce the high rates of Aboriginal incarceration.

'Let's not teach our kids to calmly behave in a considerate manner during a pandemic let's blame colonisation, government and police instead,' she said

'COVID-19 came from China not from anywhere else, but that's right, we're not about talking facts here.'

Ms Price, who ran as a Country Liberal Party candidate at the last federal election, described the World Vision video as 'propaganda'.

'I mean seriously where do you get these people from and the soundtrack for extra dramatic effect?,' she said
The campaigner against domestic violence in Aboriginal communities also criticised how Indigenous children were described as 'First Nations Youth' instead of being seen as Australian citizens with responsibilities to society

'Where's the consistency?' Victorian Premier is slammed for cracking down on anti-lockdown protesters after allowing Black Lives Matter rallies to go ahead despite risk they posed to spread of COVID-19

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8700551/Dan-Andrews-slammed-cracking-anti-lockdown-allowing-Black-Lives-Matter-rallies.html

Victorian State Premier, Daniel Andrews has been slammed for cracking down on the anti-lockdown protests after letting thousands of people gather for Black Lives Matter rallies in June.

Up to 200 protesters descended on Melbourne and clashed with police as the 'Freedom Day' rally spiralled out of control on Saturday.

Frustrated activists, furious with Mr Andrew's Stage Four lockdown, turned out in their droves to demand restrictions come to an end.

One crowd faced off with police on horseback as they chanted 'freedom' as officers arrested 17 people and gave out more than 160 fines.

The heated demonstration came months after 10,000 Melburnians took to the streets for the Black Lives Matter protests, when police were encouraged to 'exercise their discretion' when issuing fines.

Despite the massive crowds, only three fines were issued during the June rally.

The major differences between both rallies saw Mr Andrews' slammed on social media for the double-standard.

My opinion is that even if the kid was not actually coached, he lives in a home environment of Black Activism which amounts to Cultural Coaching with an emphasis on culturally and racially abusing Whites, with a public reliance on the corresponding eternal Indigenous Victim Status. That is, a status that grants Black Privilege/Aboriginal Privilege as a PROTECTED SPECIES, because as the (((Judiciary))), every Marxist and every non-White will happily declare Only White People Are Racist.

Settlement with Miranda Devine in Quaden Bayles' best interests: judge

Michaela Whitbourn | Sydney Morning Herald (https://www.smh.com.au/) (Australia) | 25 September 2020

https://www.smh.com.au/national/settlement-with-miranda-devine-in-quaden-bayles-best-interests-judge-20200925-p55z5x.html

A Federal Court judge has approved a defamation settlement between Daily Telegraph columnist Miranda Devine and a nine-year-old Indigenous boy, after she apologised for tweets suggesting he faked being a bullying victim.

On Friday, (((Justice Anna Katzmann))) said she was satisfied the confidential settlement, including a "not insubstantial" amount of money, was in Quaden Bayles' best interests. The court was required to approve the settlement because he is a minor, and the court heard such claims were unusual.

(https://static.ffx.io/images/$zoom_0.627%2C$multiply_0.7554%2C$ratio_1.776846%2C$width_1059%2C$x_0%2C$y_0/t_crop_custom/q_86%2Cf_auto/9b5f04c577609eff3e3c4803da93e5247f2aed49)
Quaden Bayles was suing Miranda Devine over comments made on Twitter.

The Brisbane school boy, who has achondroplasia dwarfism, launched defamation proceedings against Devine and her employer Nationwide News in July over a series of tweets from her Twitter account in February that raised questions about whether a viral video in which he cried after being bullied at school was "a scam".
https://www.smh.com.au/link/follow-20170101-p55ipq

The case was brought on his behalf by his mother Yarraka, who was also suing Devine in her own right for suggesting she "coached" Quaden.

Nationwide News, the publisher of the Telegraph, had taken the unusual step of briefing a lawyer to appear only on its behalf in court. It claimed tweets from the prominent columnist's public Twitter account, which identified her as an employee, were "private" and unrelated to material it published.

Devine did not appear in court, either in person or via a lawyer, until the settlement hearing on Friday when Holding Redlich partner Susan Goodman appeared on her behalf.

The settlement covers all four parties including Nationwide News. It is unclear whether either or both Devine and the company will cover the settlement plus legal costs.

Justice Katzmann said the settlement involved "pecuniary and non-pecuniary" elements and the money would be paid into a trust for Quaden, with his mother and her sister appointed as trustees.

The terms of the settlement are confidential but reports have suggested the family will receive almost $200,000.

The barrister for the Bayles family, Sue Chrysanthou, said Devine had tweeted a "sincere and detailed apology" last Saturday and "those sorts of apologies can't be ordered by the court".

Devine, who is on secondment at The New York Post, tweeted: "In February this year I posted some comments on my personal Twitter account about Quaden Bayles and his mother Yarraka.

"I now know those comments were hurtful and untrue. I sincerely apologise to the Bayles for those comments."

Yarraka Bayles said the family was "very happy with that settlement" and "very appreciative" of their lawyers.

Critics have long called for the lyrics to be altered to reflect Indigenous Australians as the longest living  Most primitive and backward culture in the world - and Mr Morrison said the change was a direct nod to that fact.

It's the first modification to the anthem since the Hawke government in 1984, when it was changed from God Save the Queen to Advance Australia Fair.

Changes have already been made since 1984 for Abos and Women: See https://creativityalliance.com/advance-australia-fair-a-worthy-national-anthem-if-you-know-the-original

:-\ I sure don't feel "one" with the Boongs and neither do they with anybody else! Do I feel "free"?! NO! .... because I can be in trouble by law in Australia for hurting a non white's feelings under 18c of the Race  relations act. Free speech is a myth in Australia and can result in political persecution and visits from Government bodies.

'One word ain't gonna change sh**': Indigenous boxer Anthony Mundine goes on a FURIOUS rant about 'tokenistic' change to the lyrics of the national anthem and says it's STILL a 'white supremacy song' - as PM applauds Australia for a 'strong response' to the divisive move

Excerpt: 'For me, it's tokenistic man,' Mundine told Daily Mail Australia. He bluntly said 'hell no' when asked if the word change was enough.

'One word ain't gonna change the core meaning of a song! It's always gonna be a white supremacy song until the whole song is rewritten! Still ain't good enough!'

The outspoken athlete said the entire anthem should be scrapped and then turned his fire on Indigenous people who supported the change.

'Any blackfella who thinks what's been done is enough, and a good thing, is an Uncle Tom,' he declared.

A Pilates instructor mud monkey who's proud of her indigenous ancestry has blown up on TikTok at followers who questioned her Aboriginal heritage
(https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/02/03/01/38809732-9216671-image-a-17_1612314013699.jpg)
Lily Hodgson, 23, who posts under the account Thrlils, recently got a tattoo of the Aboriginal flag on her arm, prompting some social media users to dispute her racial identity

One commenter said: 'You are white! Stop pretending like you understand the struggle that a real Aboriginal has been through, quite insulting.'

But the proud Wiradjuri woman hit back at trolls, calling them 'rude, uneducated, ignorant and racist' - and said being Aboriginal has nothing to do with skin colour.* It's got to do with getting additional benefits and rights at the tax payer's expense because the UN  wants to preserve the pest!

The TikTok star from the New South Wales Central Coast told Daily Mail Australia she felt the need to speak out after copping a 'magnitude of bigotry' on the platform.

'It's tiring that others feel the need to pressure me to explain myself or any other indigenous individual,' Ms Hodgson said.

In a video posted on social media, she told her critics: 'You don't know that my father was part of the stolen generations and you don't know that my aunts and uncles were beaten and raped.'

'Being Aboriginal has nothing to do with my skin colour. I have 60,000 years of blood within me That apparently came from India anyway, before them the continent was under water.

Her aunt Elizabeth Hodgson is an acclaimed author who wrote Skin Painting - a memoir which examines the struggles of Indigenous Australians.

The book reflects on the stolen generations, a period between 1905 to 1967 when a number of Aboriginal children were removed from their families by church missions on the orders of the Australian government.

'The stolen generation was basically to bleed the Aboriginal blood out of society so there could be a supreme white Australia,' Ms Hodgson said in one of her TikTok clips.

'Hence the reason why I don't have beautiful dark hair, dark eyes or seriously dark skin... because they tried to bleed us out

A flood of TikTok users had repeatedly pestered the content creator with requests to show photographs of family members with dark skin.

Although Ms Hodgson said she feels in no way obligated to prove her identity to 'a bunch of people on the internet', she eventually showed followers a photo of her indigenous father.

'It's tiring how people, who have absolutely nothing to do with Aboriginal culture think that they can dictate and gate-keep race to people like myself,' she said.

The outspoken activist created controversy in a previous video where she appeared to say that Europeans have 'no culture'.

She later clarified the comments in another clip saying her mother's side of the family, who are non-indigenous, do not have any 'cultural connection' to Europe

I guess the boong feels that everything in a Museum like the Lourve in Paris done by Europeans is culture less compared to Boongs:- playing crude instruments, Stone Age tools and jungle dancing?!

'People are thinking I'm saying Europeans have no culture. I am not saying that,' she said.

'I understand that in genealogy they have English, Irish, Scottish or whatever and that's fine, but my family do not celebrate anything like that.

'Her (ancestor's) family were sent to Australia on a boat to work in service.' Admin Edit (https://creativityalliance.com/forum/index.php?action=staff):  That means White Slaves.

Ms Hodgson said it's important for Australians to look beyond appearance when it comes to Aboriginality and be more respectful about cultural identity

'If somebody tells you that they are Aboriginal and they don't fit whenever your idea of what an Aboriginal person is supposed to be... it is not an invitation to pic that person's life apart,' she said

Boongs are a $ generating economy for :- maintenance, construction, welfare and social workers that shouldn't exist. Natural selection has been defiled with UN making the Boongs a "protected species"!

Abo writes a "sob story " about why nobody thinks Boongs are equal.

As a young girl growing up in the western suburbs of Sydney, I never imagined that there were things I couldn't do when I grew up. Those things changed quite frequently – I wanted to be a teacher, then a writer, a journalist, a film director, an astronaut, a paranormal scientist (don't ask, it was a phase) or a lawyer.

It wasn't until I was in my late teens that I realised there were limits to what I could do. Not my limits – I've always prided myself on my strong work ethic and believed in my own abilities – but limits that were set by a society and institutions that, albeit unknowingly, meant the colour of my skin, my gender and my ethnicity would be a disadvantage.

I've worked hard to overcome many of those barriers, but as any person who has experienced any form of discrimination will tell you – you have to work 10 times harder, be 10 times better and (at least) 20 times louder.

It's a sad and uncomfortable truth that systemic racism exists in many of our institutions. It's not just football, as the report into systemic racism at the Collingwood Football Club has revealed.

Systemic racism in Australia exists in many of our institutions – not least politics.
Any person of colour who looks at our parliament and does not see themselves reflected in the composition of our national leadership knows this truth.

The Collingwood Report has garnered much media attention. Much of that attention has been on the pretty deplorable response by Eddie Maguire.

It's a sad and uncomfortable truth that systemic racism exists in many of our institutions. It's not just football, as the report into systemic racism at the Collingwood Football Club has revealed.

Any person of colour who looks at our parliament and does not see themselves reflected in the composition of our national leadership knows this truth.

The Collingwood Report has garnered much media attention. Much of that attention has been on the pretty deplorable response by Eddie Maguire.
But in focussing so much on that we might be missing an opportunity to talk – really talk – about systemic racism and how it differs from casual or direct racism. Here's the thing – if I'm out walking my dog in the local park and someone delivers a racial slur in my direction, I can walk away (which I often do) or I can respond with something equally offensive (which I have occasionally done). Either way it is my choice. I have power and agency in how I respond.

Related: We all can be a bit ignorant – but that can change
Systemic racism is different. I have no power when it comes to the systems and structures that, by their very design, lead to discrimination in employment, housing, health care, education and political power. I have no power over processes and practices that put the needs of people of colour and Indigenous people at the bottom of the pile – as if we are some kind of afterthought.

Systemic racism is perpetrated by some very nice, very good, very caring people.
Often these people think they are 'woke' to racism and its impacts, they declare that they are allies to people of colour and Indigenous Australians, but they are part of a system that rips the microphone away from us, tokenises our participation and locks us out of their power structures. Not by individual fault – but by design.

The Collingwood Report exposed systemic racism in the absence of any accountability or consequences for incidents of racism.

The failure of institutions to deal with complaints of racism and a culture of racist behaviour is just one of the ways systemic racism exists. It exists in many other ways too.
It exists in the exclusion of people of colour from decision-making structures. In the lack of racial and ethnic diversity in business and political leadership. In the unwillingness to collect data on race or ethnicity in the composition of workforces or client services. In the over-representation of Indigenous Australians in the justice system and their under representation in higher education.

It wasn't the first time someone told me I couldn't do something but it was the first time my skin colour came into it. I was in my early twenties when a judge told me that I shouldn't seek a violence restraining order because "surely your culture has ways of dealing with this".

I was in my 30's when I was overlooked for a promotion because "a white male would be better received". And through all those decades I've had all kinds of racial slurs thrown my way. It is exasperating to constantly have to fight racism – it wears you down.

But it's the invisible kind of racism that is the most exhausting and the most difficult to confront.

The report into systemic racism at the Collingwood Football Club is simply titled "Do Better". That's a good place to start. Australia, we must all do better.

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/indigenous-news/2021/02/28/woolworths-dan-murphys-aboriginal-nt

Woolworths' refusal to listen left us with no choice but to call for action from Reconciliation Australia.

The decision by Woolworths to press ahead with the Dan Murphy's megastore on the doorstep of three dry Aboriginal communities in Darwin exposes how large corporations present themselves as socially conscious while ruthlessly chasing profits no matter the human cost

For five years Woolworths has been doing all they can to push through an application for one of the biggest bottle shops in Australia in my hometown of Darwin. Two years ago, the Independent Liquor Commission refused the store because of clear evidence of the harm it will cause, but Woolworths continued to push on.

That's why this week community groups in the Northern Territory wrote to Reconciliation Australia calling for them to revoke their endorsement of Woolworths' Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Their RAP has the CEO Brad Banducci saying: "We have a deep respect for our Aboriginal and Torres Islander team members, customers and all of those in the community we serve. We firmly believe they should have a voice in the decisions that affect them."

But Woolworths did not let us have a voice when they were planning to build their alcohol megastore.
They did not engage with Aboriginal, community and health organisations about their plans. And when we raised our concerns and called on them to abandon their plans to build the store because of the harm it will cause, they continued anyway. We objected to the plans in the Liquor Commission process and still Woolworths did not engage with us. They just had their lawyers try to discredit or exclude expert evidence about the increased volume of sales and harms that would flow from the store.

Woolworths pursuit of this store equates to the same wilful and deliberate destruction by Rio Tinto of Juukan Gorge. The destruction of lives this store will cause deserves the same level of public contempt. It is no surprise that almost 150,000 Australians have signed a petition standing with us in opposition to the alcohol mega store.

When Woolworths' store was rejected by the NT Liquor Commission, they pushed on the NT Government to rush through a piece of legislation that took the decision out of the hands of the Commission and placed it in the hands of the Director of Liquor Licensing, who of course ruled in favour of the retail giant.

And the reasoning, such as it was, behind the Director's ruling? A simplistic and flawed argument that favoured pure economic "benefits". Nothing about health and other social consequences: just the tired old cliché of "build it and they'll come". Which, of course, is exactly what Woolworths wants.

At the recent election, the NT Government ran on a platform of transparency, accountability and giving a voice to all Territorians.

So blatant was the deceit, the Government's own Minister for Alcohol Policy Natasha Fyles refused to introduce the Bill to parliament, leaving it to the Minister for Small Business Paul Kirby. It is hard to understand why a Bill that was introduced to further the agenda of one of Australia's largest corporations, was introduced by the Minister responsible for small business. It is incomprehensible a Bill would be introduced to explicitly deny natural justice.

The NT Government has spent three years introducing reforms that are making a positive difference to the lives and health of Territorians. In just one year, between 2017/18 and 2018/19 the Territory saw a 23% reduction in alcohol fuelled assaults and a 17% reduction in alcohol fuelled ED presentations

Two days before the decision by the Director of Liquor Licensing to approve the store, Woolworths announced an "independent panel review" to assess "the adequacy of stakeholder engagement".

The panel will be headed by Danny Gilbert, a person who is a well-respected figure among many of Darwin's Aboriginal leaders. Had this been put in place years ago, one might have lauded Woolworths for its good intentions, but the timing suggests it is little more than a PR stunt; a strategic move to take the pressure off while it waits for the wet season to end so it can begin construction on the store.

The only reasonable outcome of a review would be a finding that the store cannot go ahead in the NT. Opposition to this store is about the harm that alcohol causes to our communities – the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, violence, hospitalisations, chronic disease and death. Our opposition is backed by our experience as people who live and work in Darwin and is based on solid evidence.

The review announced by the Woolworths Chair Gordon Cairns is an acknowledgment that the company has not meaningfully engaged with the community. If they had engaged in the first place, there wouldn't be a need for them to review their own conduct. It is an acknowledgement of failure on their part.

It would show that Woolworths is doing what it outlined in its Reconciliation Action Plan, rather than hiding behind the vacuity of their token gestures.

One thing is certain – we will continue to fight.

We have been facing and overcoming obstacles like this for many generations. We have a lot of fight left in us because the health and lives of our people is too important to us.

We will continue until Woolworths listens to us and abandons its plans to build this harmful alcohol megastore. To proceed is to ignore the voice of our communities and to engage in wilful corporate blindness.

You see the Boong has to be "number 1"! Everybody else can't buy discount or imported booze because they are more concerned  with The Boongs who bring $$$ in welfare jobs basically to lefty hippies!

Everybody knows Boongs are Alcoholics and antisocial behaviour ascends if they get boozed up! Just because of this there'd be increased crime with Boongs robbing anything they can to get it. They already do do this despite a banned drinking register being implemented.

The UN wants their numbers up and they are doing their hardest to give them extra benefits and rights to achieve this! Which comes at a cost to the tax payer to generate this economy that shouldn't be there!

We need an Antarctic solution for these people and a green energy Boong powered battery generation plant so everybody else can go about their lives peacefully without this black pest!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9306691/Outback-road-sign-Alice-Springs-replaced-Indigenous-place-sparks-furious-debate.html

A photograph of a defaced road sign in the outback has sparked a fierce debate on social media about whether Indigenous place names should used

The image showed the names Alice Springs and Hermannsburg on Larapinta Drive, in the Northern Territory crossed out with white paint.

'Mparntwe' and 'Ntaria' - as those towns are known to the respective local Indigenous communities, Arrernte and Western Aranda - were painted onto the sign

The road sign was also graffitied with the letters ACAB - a political acronym that means: 'All cops are b*****ds'.

The Common Ground Australia Facebook page captioned the photo: 'Across Australia there is a growing movement of reclaiming traditional place names in First Nations languages.'

'Using traditional place names in conversation, on signs and any other references is an amazing step towards recognising the sovereignty First Nations people still hold across Australia.

'When we recognise and embed language, we centre First Nations people, culture and Country.'

But not everybody agreed and the post generated fierce debate, with several unhappy at what they saw as vandalism.

One man wrote: 'I applaud the spirit of the action however I feel the crossing out of European names spoils the message.'

Why Use our alphabet to write a Boong name? They had no alphabet! They are conquered. No coon names for things. Fit in or F$&k off!

Just as we intelligent Whites tell the same to the Woke.

YOU WANT EQUALITY?

I don't. I want Racial Separatism Now - And Racial Sovereignty for us ALL.

Equality is a farce. Equality only works when a genuine benefactor rules strong above all. Anything else is CHAOS. And Chaos leads to Racial Holy War.

Everybody wants to be an Abo now. The extra rights and benefits give you a free pass! Your own housing, Lawyers, grants, subsidies for the employers from the Government making you a more desirable job prospect.

Nobody wanted to be black before all these got granted.

Victoria wants a "Truth and justice commission?! "

These Abos sold land in Melbourne to John Batman!

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman%27s_Treaty

Batman's party met with Aboriginal people several times, presenting gifts of blankets, handkerchiefs, sugar, apples and other items, and receiving gifts of woven baskets and spears in exchange. On 6 June, Batman met with eight elders of the Wurundjeri, including ngurungaetas Bebejan and three brothers with the same name, Jika Jika or Billibellary, the traditional owners of the lands around the Yarra River.

For 600,000 acres of Melbourne, including most of the land now within the suburban area, Batman paid 40 pairs of blankets, 42 tomahawks, 130 knives, 62 pairs of scissors, 40 looking glasses, 250 handkerchiefs, 18 shirts, 4 flannel jackets, 4 suits of clothes and 150 lb. of flour.[4]

The truth is the Abos sold the land to Whites for these items. These muds making the noise here what percentage of their blood is Abo? What percentage isn't?!

If you are White, and you sign up to a deal with a phone network, you are expected to pay your bills. Even if you are young and intellectually retarded or old and suffering from dementia, you still have to pay your bill. There is no other choice. There is no way out of it. However, Black Privilege means that is not the case for everyone ...

Telstra ordered to pay $50 million in penalties for 'unconscionable practices'

When Caitlyn Roe was slapped with a $2200 Telstra bill, she refused to take it lying down. And now, the telco is paying the price.

The young mum was one of 108 Indigenous customers across three states and territories who found themselves in a similar battle against Telstra, with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) eventually launching proceedings on their behalf.

Yesterday, the Federal Court ruled in their favour, ordering Telstra to pay a staggering $50 million in penalties for engaging in unconscionable conduct when it sold mobile contracts to dozens of Indigenous consumers.

The communications giant admitted that between January 2016 and August 2018, it breached the Australian Consumer Law and acted unconscionably when staff at five stores signed up 108 Indigenous customers to multiple postpaid mobile contracts which they did not fully understand and could not afford.

"They wanted that full amount — right or wrong, they wanted it," she said. "I was like, 'Jesus, I'm battling to put away money for food and bills'," Ms Roe told the ABC of her early struggle with the company, which saw her hounded by debt collectors.

'Cause Whitey sending and receiving mail is RACIST!

Indigenous woman urges demands White Aussies to make a simple change to the way they send mail to educate the country about Aboriginal history Privilege

(((Levi))) Parsons | Daily Mail (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/) (UK) | 8 June 2021

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9663491/Woman-urges-Australians-make-change-inclusive-Aboriginal-people.html

A business owner is calling on Australia Post customers to make a change in the way they send packages to be more inclusive to First Nation's peoples Amelia Rose, from Sydney, told her TikTok followers to include traditional Indigenous place names when sending a parcel in a bid to kickstart systematic change and educate non-Indigenous Australians about their traditional land owners

The suggestion was met with a wave of support from social media users who called the simple idea 'brilliant'.

But there were some who disagreed and said the 'white and performative' measure is only going to be seen 'by you and the postie'.

Ms Rose explained in her popular video that Aboriginal woman Rachael McPhail, started the push last year and successfully petitioned Australia Post to include traditional place names in their mailing address databases.

While Australia Post now has an official policy which asks senders to include the Indigenous country name in the second address line, the extra step is rarely utilised by customers.

'At my website, I specifically have a traditional owners subject line,' Ms Rose said.

'This makes it way easier for you guys to pop your address in there with no issues at all.'

She said a quick google search will tell you who your traditional owners are, otherwise use the second subject line.

These people are conquered ! What does the term "Traditional Owner" mean?! What did they own? Some Stone Age tools and weapons? They thought the land owns them!

So if I want to mail a Boong an item the address would look like this-
Albert Namatjira
Under The Tree, On a Park Bench
South Parklands, South terrace
Adelaide 5000
