Extract: June this year, the body of a 54-year-old woman was cut from the stomach of a 27ft python in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, having been swallowed whole.

The woman's dead body was still fully clothed when she was removed from the serpent's belly.

Her fate was uncovered by her own children, who had become suspicious after finding an enormous snake with a protruding belly after their mother went missing in the area.
