Arizona immigration law is 'moral and social sin:' Faith leaders

If you're in Arizona and look even remotely like some policeman's idea of an illegal immigrant, a law signed today says you will have to produce papers showing you're in the USA legally whenever and where-ever an officer requests this -- and so will anyone else with you. Now, faith leaders are calling this new law, signed by Gov. Jan Brewer this afternoon, a sin against God and man and at least one says believers should not comply.

Faith in Public Life rushed out a press release round up of major faith groups calling this "an affront to moral conscience" and urging comprehensive national immigration reform. A sampling:

Rev. Jim Wallis, the evangelical leader of Sojourners, says,

QuoteThe law signed today by Arizona Gov. Brewer is a social and racial sin, and should be denounced as such by people of faith and conscience across the nation. It is not just about Arizona, but about all of us, and about what kind of country we want to be. It is not only mean-spirited, it will be ineffective and will only serve to further divide communities in Arizona, making everyone more fearful and less safe. This radical new measure, which crosses many moral and legal lines, is a clear demonstration of the fundamental mistake of separating enforcement from comprehensive immigration reform. Enforcement without reform of the system is merely cruel. Enforcement without compassion is immoral. Enforcement that breaks up families is unacceptable. This law will make it illegal to love your neighbor in Arizona, and will force us to disobey Jesus and his gospel. We will not comply."

New Evangelical Partnership for the Common Good says:

QuoteThroughout the Bible, God commands us in no uncertain terms to show kindness and hospitality to the foreigner and the stranger ... We join with Evangelicals and people of conscience everywhere in denouncing this wholly unbiblical and immoral law."

Gideon Aronoff, head of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, says:

QuoteThe Jewish community has long called on our national leaders to reform our immigration laws to 'welcome the stranger' and to create an effective federal immigration system characterized by the rule of law and the humane treatment of newcomers. In the meantime, Arizonans are now living in a world where police may impound vehicles transporting anyone found to be an undocumented immigrant, which means that Arizonans who don't check the papers of the kids they drive to Sunday school may now be engaging in illegal activity. Arizona has taken itself out of the mainstream of American life and has betrayed the proud history of a nation built by immigrants.

Good for Arizona! The jews and christinsanes preach "welcome the stranger" "kindness and hospitality to the foreigner and stranger"Truly suicidal religious dogma.I cant belive in these times of high unemployment and mass illegal immigration that these clowns would have the nerve to preach this garbage.

These charlitans- priests who destroy the mind with thoughts of the nonexistent, trading truth for a lie and calling it truth all the while; these peddlers of snake oil, ones who claim to know the truth, these occultists revelling in the belief that only the initiated might be saved; always watching, ever waiting for the return of a jew from beyond the horizon to save them from a fate worse than death; these liars, thieves, and fools, ones who would rather worship a jew and kill one another than to even consider nature's design; these ones must be recognized for the treacherous reprobates that they are, and an end must be made of their sin- swiftly and thoroughly.

To clarify- I mean to incite no violence.  Surely, such is counterproductive to our faith.  However, it is imperative that we adopt an unequivocally offensive stance and to hold steadfast in our fight for the minds of our people.

Poison is spreading through the veins of the White race and that poison takes the form of the insidious jew hanging on a cross.  We must revile their faith at every turn, having no tolerance for the slightest sign of infection.  It is no longer amusing that a politician believe in a supreme being, contrary to all of nature's laws.  It is no longer comical to say that a snake talked and gods created the races.  It is time for the White race at large to grow up- to shake off the chains of old, to purify His bloodlines of this poison and in doing so embrace the strength and power that has always been- and will forever be- His.

ARIZONA'S recession-ravaged tourism industry is nervously bracing for more economic woes amid mounting calls to boycott the southwestern border state after the passage of its tough new immigration law.

Boycott supporters are hoping to emulate the success of the campaign which sprang up after Arizona rescinded Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a public holiday in 1987, leading to the cancellation of conventions worth millions of dollars.
