Toys-R-Verboten: Toy Gun Leads to Arrest
Adelaide: Earlier today a man was arrested at gunpoint in the Parklands and charged with carrying an offensive weapon – a toy gun. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
Haven’t times changed? I remember reading a news clipping from 1956 about a man who was fined 5 Pounds for discharging an actual firearm in the same area. No criminal conviction, just the fine. And now if you are caught with a toy ….

PORT Augusta is heading for an “explosion” of violence because local police are failing to control rampaging gangs of youths, former policeman and Aboriginal elder Aaron Stuart has warned.

Indigenous and Pregnant Women to get Free Flu Vaccine – White Men to go to Hell
“Today we are announcing that the seasonal flu vaccine will be available free of charge to more than two million extra Australians, particularly pregnant women and indigenous Australians,” Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon told Channel 9.
Previously, just under 3 million people aged 65 and over were entitled to free flu vaccine. Now that all Aboriginals and pregnant women are to receive free flu vaccine shots, this will bring the number up to about 4.5 million receiving the vaccine.

It has just been reported that Abos are rioting in Port Augusta prison.
According to the media, blame for the riot must lie with the state government for its “pack ’em, stack ’em and ‘rack em” approach to holding prisoners.
Although that may very well be the case, I am making the assumption that it’s just Abos out of control … again, and any excuse will do to put down any suggestion of Australia’s indigenous people taking responsibility for their own behaviour.
